How to get iTunes Match to work on iPhone 4?

subscribed to iTunes Match, it reviewed my entire music library, did everything it was supposed to do on my desk computer and iTunes Match is turned on and active.  When I go to iPhone 4 Settings>Music and set the iTunes Match toggle to 'On', it says I am not subscribed to iTunes Match and I should return to iTunes on my computer to subscribe.

How did you get them to match? When I try to change from [email protected] to [email protected] on my iPhone 4S it keeps going back to the [email protected] setting.

  • HT4914 I cannot get Itunes match to work on my iphone? All settings are correct.

    I cannont get Itunes match to work on my new iPhone. It works on my IPAD, IPOD and other devices.

    Confirm that you have subscribed to iTunes Match on your computer.  Then on your phone go to Settings>iTunes & App Stores, confirm that you are signed into the Apple ID you used to subscribe to iTunes Match, then turn iTunes Match and Show All Music to On.
    If it still isn't working, turn it off on your phone, go back to iTunes on your computer and turn iTunes Match off (Store>Turn Off iTunes Match).  Then turn it back on and wait for your library to be scanned.  Then turn it back on on your phone again.

  • Can not get Itunes match to work. It stops on the first step and on my status bar it just says "sending information to apple" this goes on for hours. Help please.

    Help please. I cannt get itunes match to work. It just stops on the first step and the status bar continues to say "sending information to apple" for hours. Any ideas?

    I am having a similar issue with iTunes Match. It keeps hanging up on the same number of files (11035 of 15455) during STEP 2. I've tried signing out, re-opening iTunes, re-booting, etc. Still comesup stuck for hours. What I also don't understand is why the "iCloud Status" option in "View/View Options" disappears intermittently. It was there when I first booted up this morning and I reviewed all my music files to see if there were any "errors" and there werne't any. But after Match gets stuck on the same file niumber (11035) I 've signed out and re-booted and now the "iCloud Status" check box is missing from "View Options" (only the "iCloud Download" option remains present all the time. Please help. (I've also checked to make sure all the music files are within the suggested bit rate parameters and file type - This is also a brand new iMac out of the box). Running out of troubleshooting ideas and beginning to think this service just doesn't work well.

  • How to get exact match when working with Oracle Text?

    Hi,
    I'm running Oracle9i Database R2.
    I would like to know how do I get exact match when working with Oracle Text.
    DROP TABLE T_TEST_1;
    CREATE TABLE T_TEST_1 (text VARCHAR2(30));
    INSERT INTO T_TEST_1 VALUES('Management');
    INSERT INTO T_TEST_1 VALUES('Busines Management Practice');
    INSERT INTO T_TEST_1 VALUES('Human Resource Management');
    COMMIT;
    DROP INDEX T_TEST_1;
    CREATE INDEX T_TEST_1_IDX ON T_TEST_1(text) INDEXTYPE IS CTXSYS.CONTEXT;
    SELECT * FROM T_TEST_1 WHERE CONTAINS(text, 'Management')>0;
    The above query will return 3 rows. How do I make Oracle Text to return me only the first row - which is exact match because sometimes my users need to look for exact match term.
    Please advise.
    Regards,
    Jap.

    But I would like to utilize the Oracle Text index. Don't know your db version, but if you slightly redefine your index you can achieve this (at least on my 11g instance) :
    SQL> create table t_test_1 (text varchar2(30))
      2  /
    Table created.
    SQL> insert into t_test_1 values ('Management')
      2  /
    1 row created.
    SQL> insert into t_test_1 values ('Busines Management Practice')
      2  /
    1 row created.
    SQL> insert into t_test_1 values ('Human Resource Management')
      2  /
    1 row created.
    SQL>
    SQL> create index t_test_1_idx on t_test_1(text) indextype is ctxsys.context filter by text
      2  /
    Index created.
    SQL> set autotrace on explain
    SQL>
    SQL> select text, score (1)
      2    from t_test_1
      3   where contains (text, 'Management and sdata(text="Management")', 1) > 0

  • I can not get itunes match to work with my ipad.  I am subscribed but when i go to turn it on it keeps telling me that i am not subscribed.  how do i fix this?

    I subscribed to itunes match. I have it working on my iphone but can't get it to work on my ipad.  I did the same exact steps that I did for my iphone but when i try to turn it on it keeps telling me I am not subscribed and to subscribe through itunes on my PC.  I've already paid and subscribed to iTunes match and do not know why I keep getting this error message.  When I am in itunes on my PC I can see that my ipad is not authorized with that account and do not know if that is the problem.  If so how do I authorize my ipad?  I've used the store drop down box and choose authorize this computer but it keeps trying to authorize my PC and not my ipad.  I am running the most current version of the ipad and itunes.

    Michael'sgot this one covered. He has detailed the process at the link below.

  • Can't get iTunes Match to work; iTunes keeps crashing.

    I am running iTunes 11.0.4.4.  When I click on "Store", "Turn on iTunes Match", iTunes crashes and I constantly get an error message "iTunes has stopped working".  I have tried various fixes, none of which seem to work.  How can I get Match working again?

    Hi there
    I did as you suggested, step by step and I still have exacly the same problem.
    When I click on "Store", "Turn on iTunes Match", iTunes crashes and I constantly get an error message "iTunes has stopped working".
    This problem is still there despite upgrading to the latest version of ITunes for Windows.
    Any other ideas?

  • Cannot get iTunes Match to work on my i-Phone. Says I am not "subscribed?"

    Anyone know how to turn on iTunes Match on an iPhone 4? Keep getting an error message that I am not "subscribed." Thanks!

  • HT4913 I can't get iTunes match to work on my Apple TV (3rd gen).

    I signed up for iTunes Match after iOS 7 and iTunes Radio came out.  It says it should work on Apple TV by selecting Music->iTunes Match but when I try that it shows nothing available in the library.  I have over 3000 songs in my iTune Match and can play them back on my other Apple devices.  I have a 3rd generation AppleTV with the latest software update. What am I missing?

    I tried that again today and that did not work, what did was daron_ post onDec 28, 2014 12:17 PM iTunes Match won't stop loading on Apple T.V. iTunes Match had been stuck for the last few months even through the recent iOS updates

    Ok I did this on my iPhone 5 but when I tried to enable iTunes Match it said I needed to go to my iTunes on my computer and subscribe to iTunes Match first - but I am already a confirmed member of iTunes Match.  Catch 22 anyone?

  • Itunes match not working on IPhone

    Hi all,
    Really hope someone can help.
    Itunes match working fine on Ipad and Apple TV but when switching on the Iphone 4S I get message saying not subscribed. I use the same Apple ID for everything. Cant understand why it works on the others but not the Iphone which is the one I want it to work on.
    When I look in Itunes, I can see my Iphone as a Device on the left hand side, but when I go into the Store and check Itunes in the cloud and manage devices its only my Ipad that is there. Suspect this might be the issue but dont know how to add it? As I said its the same Apple ID?
    D

    Hi Michael,
    Thanks for coming back to me. I only subscribed to match a few days ago so definately using the same apple ID.  Really frustrating.
    When I sign back into the store on my iphone and go to turn on itunes match is gives me the subscribe message and when i go to enable automatic downloads it asks for the password, which I put in, and then it just keeps popping up again asking for the password, even although its the correct one going in.
    As I said, my iphone is a device on the left hand side, but when I go to itunes in the cloud on my account its only my Ipad that is showing up.
    New problem- since I switched itunes match off and back on again, I can enable the itunes match button on my Ipad but none of the music is showing- so neither device is working now. Really annoyed.

  • Itunes Match not working on Iphone 4 after update to IOS 5.1

    Hello,
    Itunes Match has never been an issue for me in the past.  After I updated to IOS 5.1, I accessed my music app and noticed that Itunes Match was only showing artists that started with the letter "A" And "B".  So I turned match off, turned it back on and now itunes match shows a picture of a cloud and a progress bar.  the bar takes hours to move about half way, and then the app will just tell me that I don't have any music and I can dowloand music from itunes.
    My wife is not having any issues with match on her iphone 4 and my ipad 2 running IOS 5.1 is also not having any issues.
    I have tried signing in and out of the Itunes store, turning on and off Itunes match, doing a hard reboot of the phone, I have rest and deleted everything on my phone and restored from a icloud back up.  I even tried to see if I could delete the music app data by going under settings/general/usage.....but the music app says it has "no data".
    This is Very frustrating for me, and I can't figure out what i can do to make my phone load my music match library again.  I thank you for any suggestions/help that you may have in advance!

    Exactly the same ting has happened to me over te past few days with my ipad2... I too resorted to setting my ipad2 up as a new device again to get match working... There is definitely something screwy happening on 5.1 I think... It was fine till I updated

  • HT204406 iTunes Match Not Working on iPhone

    I have no music on my iPhone so I turned off iTunes Match and then turned on Use Cellular Data.  Then I turn on iTunes Match and it turns right back off without me even touching the screen.  But if I turn off Use Cellular Data and turn on iTunes Match it stays on but then I can't get any music.  Any help would be appreciated.

    The iTunes store is down (offline) temporarily and I'm pretty sure it is related to that.  So I don't think there's anything wrong with your phone, network, or account.
    I'd wait a while and try again in a little while.  Once iTunes store is back up, I believe it'll just work.

  • ITunes Match not working on iPhone 5

    My iTunes Match account is set properly on iTunes but I can't activate it on my iPhone 5, although every setting is "on" and I've gone through all the troubleshooting. What else can be done?

    Thanks for asking. I mean that, although I'm duly authenticated with my Apple ID and have the iTunes Match activated on the Settings menu, the Music App does not show any of my music. Whenever I open the app, the “cloud” icon shows up and I can see that the device is trying to connect/authenticate to iCloud but then, after a few seconds, nothing is returned and there’s a message saying that there are no songs available. Everything’s working fine on my PC and on my iPad (besides the iMac where I activated Match), the problem seems to affect only the iPhone…
