You need to be quite a bit more specific. What exactly is the Desktop manager doing or not doing? You have a Pearl....what model? Look in Options >About and tell us what model you have and what OS it's running. Also, what version of Desktop Manager, OS on your PC, etc.

How to get Keynote into fullscreen on an external

I have a high-end black Macbook connected to 2 22" widescreen external monitors through a Matrox dualheadtogo video splitter. How do I get Keynote to run in fullscreen on one monitor? Everytime I try, it plays it in FS on my Macbook display, and gives me the slide pane on my external monitor display.

There should be a Keynote preference to choose which display to use. The two external displays, though will appear as one wide display to the computer.

BDC-How to get the value of the screen field

I am facing a problem while writing the BDC code for the XK02 transaction.
Recording:
We have recorded like this :after giving the values in the initial screen(vendor no and purchase group and selecting the purchasing data check box) and enter into the second screen and then click on alternative data icon.There we ll have set of plants we have to check auto ordering (by selecting the plant and click purchasing icon)for the plants which are in the given file.
Problem:
Suppose there are five plants(like 1,2,3,4,5) for a particular vendor but we are having only three plants in the file for which auto ordering check has to be done.The problem is that its doing auto ordering check for the first three plants(1,2,3) in the transaction.But in the file we are having Plants like (1,3,5).How to get the screen field value directly or is there any other way to resolve the problem?

You cannot get hold of screen values while running through the BDC Operation.
Only way you can get the value --> populating an Internal Table from the Database Table.

You can either use select-options or Ranges. If you want the selection screen to be displayed with allwoing user to enter values apart for the default ones use select options else use ranges. With ranges what ever values use hard code would be set and the end user will not be able to add any more values (or range of values).
Simply write the following code
tables : <name of the table from which the field belongs>
select-options <fieldname> for <tablename>-<fieldname>.
<fieldname>-sign = 'I'.
<fieldname>-option = 'BT'.
<fieldname>-low = '7000'.
<fieldname>-high = '8000'.
append <fieldname>..
similiarly add all the ranges that you need to include as default and in your select statement use the IN operator inthe where clause to include the range.
If using range replacethe select-option with the range statement.

I can get to the first iTunes screen but when I click any link I just get the message "Accessing Music Store..." at the top. It doesn't go to the second page. I have also noticed that iTunes is using 50% of my CPU. Does anyone have an idea of what's wrong?

How to get real fullscreen/quality Spiderman3 movi...

well, my question is, not how to convert Spiderman3 from DVD to N95. In fact I converted it already, and it is running.
But, I want to know, with which software I can convert Spiderman3 from DVD exactly the same like the original which has been on the mobile. I lost my activation key due to firmware-updating. With exactly the same, I mean without cutting the picture and looking full screen, without any black stripes... Because every converter (I tried a lot of, SUPER, DVDFab, AVS video Tools, Daniusoft, handbrake...) besides the cucusoft video converter cannot do real full screen converting to 320x240. Everytime you have to cut the picture, so something is missing, or there are small black stripes top and bottom. And Cucusoft quality is lets say, not good... but this works fullscreen without cutting anything.
Or to simplify the question, does anyone know, which converter Nokia used to convert it to the phone? Or is this a private converter, not available for the public? Or has something like adjusting the Display Aspect Ratio (DAR) and Pixel Aspect Ratio (PAR) to do with that and can solve my problem?

The problem is the source DVD!
See if you open a DVD stream it's size is usually 720x480 which is an aspect ratio of 1.5 but the actual video is aspect ratio of 2.35 so what they do is they put the black bars already in the DVD video!
So when you put Pan&Scan option in the ripper it calculates these black bars as being part of the picture, so it converts from 1.5 to 1.3333 aspect ratio (320x240), but in reality it should convert from 2.35 to 1.3333.
This is further complicated because some movies use also other aspect ratios like 1.778 (16x9) or 1.85 (cinemascope) but then they put those also into 1.5 DVD.
So what can you do. First is figure out what the actual video screen aspect is. Most DVDs will have this information in the back of the box.
Then get a calculator and figure out how many pixels are there in the vertical and how many pixels are there in the video feed. So if its a 2.35 anamorphic movie and the video size is 720x480 the actual video size is only 720x306 so there are 87 extra black pixels in the top and bottom.
So in order to get full screen you would have to first copy the movie into WMV or AVI (but you must have DIVX codec installed in your machine to use AVI or FFMPEG). And don't change the resolution leave it in auto.
Now you will have a DIRECTSHOW file that has the black bars. Now you will use SUPER encoder (www.erightsoft.com) to re-encode this video. Encode into WMV or AVI if you want to further encode it or directly into MPEG-4 if you want. Use the DIRECT SHOW BUTTON and then you will have to use the CROP/PAD and you will crop the picture.
156 pixels on each side and 86 on the top and 88 on the bottom. This will create a video that's 408x306 (or 1.333333). Now you could either use this video as is (it should work in N95 and newer devices)
Or now use Super again and encode into the right size. (320x240).

How to get real fullscreen on Mac (Yosemite / Mavericks) ?

Hello all,
I got an 11" macbook air a little while back and until that Firefox always was my go to browser.
It seems that getting a real firefox fullscreen (with auto-hiding toolbars) on mac currently is either impossible or really hard. I did my research and tried things but couldn't get it to work for me... And this got to the point where it was "dealbreaker" for me for two reasons :
- On this small screen, the toolbars take a bit less than 10% of the area, which is quite a bit. Plus I really like to navigate fullscreen, I feel I can immerse way better in the websites with no toolbars (that sometimes are at high contrast with the page colors etc...)
- I'm developing a webpage-based psychology experiment that I want to be able to pass on this macbook air (at least for the first tests), and as it involves some immersion in the content, it would benefit from fullscreen.
So I switched to Chrome (which does this "real" fullscreen) for these reasons, but I generally prefer Firefox and would be glad to switch back if real fullscreen was an option. My question is, have you found a way for it to work ? If not, can this be turned into a feature request (is it relevant, how do I do that) ?

I'm currently on OS X 10.10.2, Firefox 37, but was also unable to get it to work back on OS X 10.9. I use it for extra windows that aren't full screen that have a media player, so I do not want to open new tabs.
I also have a shortcut key (I use the code in PrefBar) to toggle the toolbox area on/off and can thus make the toolbars quickly appear.
If you can't hide toolbar on Mac in full screen mode then this could be a possibility.
I don't know if there are extensions for Mac that can hide (toggle) toolbar and possibly toggle the Tab bar.
If you change the selector then you can toggle individual toolbars instead of currently toggle the entire navigator toolbox.

In call transaction function module you must set parametr id value in function module 'ZT11'
then it will accesible to you program using get parameter.

How to get applications to fill the screen

I have been meaning to ask this for some time but how does one get say the safari window to fit the screen without going into the display preferences and changing the display ratio. If I use a pc (heaven forbid) I can just click the full screen Icon and hey presto all the screen is used. But my beloved Mac does not. What am I to do?........ Woe is me

Mac OS X does not have a +full screen+ mode like Windows, because it would be a waste of screen real estate to simply expand a window to fill the entire screen. What it does have is a one click expand to largest possible optimum windows size command. Click the GREEN orb at the upper left corner of the window. The window will expand (or in some cases contract) to a size that displays everything on the window without being any taller or wider than necessary. If the window content happens to exceed the width or height of the screen resolution, then it will expand to the largest possible size for the screen. The menu bar will remain and the Dock (if visible) will not be covered up by the expanded window.
There are a few apps that act differently. For example, iTunes switches between the standard iTunes interface window and the little Mini-Player when you click the on the green orb.
