How to get last slide to stay on screen?

How do I get the text on my last slide to stay on screen
indefinitely? I've got my project preferences set to not fade out
on last slide, but the screen goes blank when I get to the end of
my timeline. Any ideas? Do I have to set an invisible click box
somewhere on screen so that the screen doesn't fade away?

More than likely, the text is probably in the form of a Text
Caption. If you examine the properties of the caption, it is
probably set to Fade in and out. So changing from Fade in and out
to Fade in only should do the trick.
Other than that, a Click Box object should work too.

Yes, I think so.
Set each slide's duration time manually to what you want in the Settings/This Slide pane:
The last slide can be set to a maximum of 999 seconds.
If you choose music it will continue to play, repeating if the track isn't longer than 999 seconds, until the 999 seconds run out. For longer than 999 seconds duplicate the last slide, add it at the end and set it to 999 seconds also.

So i have tried __DATE__ macro.. That also having some problems..

just use:
'YOUR_STATIC_REGION_NAME' instead of p_static_id,
:APP_ID for p_app_id,
:APP_PAGE_ID for p_page_id
:APP_USER_ID for p_app_user.

How to get past the grey start up screen after mavericks update

I have recently installed a free update of Mavericks on the App store. However after installing this, the Macbook Pro that i've installed on will not boot beyond the Grey start up screen. I was running Snow Leopard on a machine with intel core 2 duo processors 4 Gb of RAM and over 100Gb of free memory.
I have attempted a safe boot (holding down shift while while holding the power button down), and Reseting the NVRAM by pressing 'command', 'option', 'P' and 'R' at the same time.
I do not have an installation disk or a time machine back up.
Does anyone know how to get passed the Grey start up Screen?
Any Suggestions would be mucho appreciated.

PSE *.0-How To Get Rid of That Annoying Welcome Screen!!??

I thought I saw a post on how to get rid of that annoying "welcome" screen and all the ads when PSE opens but cannot find it.
Can someone point me in the right direction please?

How to get iPhoto slide show .mov to YouTube?

I've created a slide show in iPhoto which I want to upload to YouTube.
It is created as a movie, .mov 45 mb
I thought I could load it directly to YouTube, but apparently I have to convert it. Can someone tell me how to do the conversion?
YouTube says the preferred formats for video are H.264, MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 preferred.

I've downloaded this software -- great tool.
However, I still am unable to upload to YouTube. I exported the mov to create an MPEG-4. It plays perfectly on my computer, but I still get an error message when trying to upload to YouTube.
There is another weird thing that has been happening, which might be the problem or a clue to the problem.
In iPhoto, my first slide is a title screen. However, I noticed that after I uploaded the mov to Audio Acrobat, a black slide precedes the Title slide. I thought maybe something happened at Audio Acrobat (haven't taken the time to call them). I have this video playing at one of my web sites, and there is a black slide at the beginning.
OK, so back to this .... the same thing happens when I open the iPhoto file in MPEG Streamclip. It starts with a black slide rather than the title slide.
To test to see if a black slide got added in iPhoto, I use the back arrow with the title screen visible and the last slide shows. In other words, iPhoto is not showing a black slide.
Any suggestions?

How to get desktop files to stay on the desktop

Please help. Desktop files keep disappearing from the desktop. So far, the only way that I can return them to the desktop is by a Restart. I can find the items in a folder labeled "Desktop" in User/(Name), but I can't find how to get them to return to the desktop proper, in a way that they stay there. Hi,
In our project we also use last_run_date to detect the delta for incremental loading.
We created a table which holds the run date and time for each mapping. When a mapping is new (initial load) the run date is set to 01/01/1900.
In each mapping we added a post-mapping process that inserts a record in the process table with the mapping name and last run date.
We also added a Constant operator to all mappings, calling a procedure to get the last_run_date out of our own process table.
The constant attribute is then used in a FILTER operator to compare the dates and select only dates after the last run date.

An other option is to use the get this information out of the runtime audit tables.
ALL_RT_AUDIT_EXECUTIONS which reside in the runtime owner schema.

I need to get last modified date and time of a file in remote machine.
This file is in remote machine which has apache server installed.
I am trying to get this information by connecting to apache server from client by giving absolute URI of the file to file object.
URI is got from apache server URL by using toURI method.
when I use lastModified method , its throwing exception , because scheme of URI is not file.
I can't give scheme as file because ftp server is not installed on that server
Is there any other way to get this information .
