I have the latest version of Gb and I dont have the legacy folder which has the effects that I want to add to my vocals? Is there any way to download this "Legacy" folder? Someone please help!!!

Hello Neil,
Here's a challenging adjunct to the physical location of trash question above. I moved home folder of my login to a different partition (data only) which all worked fine. Then I trashed the original home folder which was on the Boot OSX partition (just to be tidy as it was not needed any longer) now the MBA says "cannot logon to this user for the time being". So I clearly need to return the original home directory back from trash to my logon folder (eve though it is not really used).
However, how can I access my original logon user directory in trash when I am unable to logon? Logged on to the root directory and using your go to folder solution above I have found the trash for root but I am unable to find the trash for my actual logon (which contains the trashed home directory)!
Any thoughts sir? Thanks for your help.

The information is stored in the WebUrlMapRules resultset in the SecurityInfo.hda file and can also be viewed via IdcService=GET_WEBURLMAP_PAGE.

I have reread your question over three times, but I really, really don't see any relation between that HTML code line and your actual problem. Aren't you confusing the client-server relation and the concepts behind it?
At least I can tell you that you can't get the folder path in the server side (as asked in the topic subject), although some browsers (e.g. IE) will do this, but this is faulty and you shouldn't rely on this. Just obtain the file contents from the request body. There are parsers for this as well, such as Apache Commons FileUpload.

But I can't browse through this folder structure in Finder (I have run command to allow me to see hidden folders if that is required).

When I try to save another excel file that I have also opened from a password protected zip file, the automatic folder selected is "wzQL.8t0UHS". When I try to save a file with exactly the same name as the file that is missing into the folder "wzQL.8t0UHS" it tells me that the file already exists and asks if I want to replace it.
My assumption was therefore that it was some kind of cache where the file is intact.
When I've done a search on the name of the file I am looking for in Finder, I do not find the file.

I tried to drag the Documents folder from the sidebar and it wasn't working. Now I did it from my home folder and its fine.

However, you will need to look at your environment variables to find the proper one to get, as I haven't used Windows in a very long time and cannot remember what it is named (even though I used %SYSTEM_PATH% in my example). This should return the path to the system directory on Windows as a String object that you can then parse or use how you need.

How to get right folder name/location on import?

I can't seem to get LR 3.x to import into the desired folder structure like I used to do with
LR 1.x and 2.x. I'm trying for a structure that looks like this:
I want LR to automatically create a folder with the date stamp in it and located in the right year and then let me enter the the last part of the folder name that identifies the subject matter before the import starts. So far, all I can get is the auto-generated folder name by date with no ability to edit that or a fully custom folder name where I have to both locate it properly and type the entire name including date. In LR 1.x and 2.x, this was really easy. LR would suggest the folder name (or multiple folder names if the images span multiple dates) with the date in it and I could just double click on it to add to the supplemental name before the import. Can't find any way to do that in LR 3.x. What it means is that I have to do the import, wait for it to complete, then come back and manually rename each folder it created. This is particularly a pain when there are multiple folders (across multiple dates) and/or when my backup program has already kicked in and done a backup of the auto-generated date before I come in and manually rename it.
So, my question is, how do I get LR to auto-suggest the right date-based folder name in the right folder location and let me add something onto the end of it before the import? This was very easy in LR1.x and 2.x import.

It slipped under the radar when redoing the new import window.
Hopefully, we'll get it back in next major update. In the meantime. you
can add the additional text post import by right clicking on folder name
then choosing Rename from context menu.

Renaming the directories manually is what I do now - it just extra work from how I used to do it and it doesn't fit smoothly into the workflow because LR seems to get confused sometimes if I rename while it's still importing or while still building thumbnails. For a big import, that means I have to go away, let the thumbnails build, then remember to come back promptly to rename the directory before my backup scheme starts backing up the wrongly named directory. I've managed since 3.x came out, but it finally annoyed me enough I thought I'd post in hopes I was just missing a way to do this. I sure hope this comes back in a future version. Organizing by named "shoot" is a very natural way for me to do it.

How to get Photoshop folder icon back?

Notice in the image below that both Bridge and Illustrator have their folder icons, but Photoshop does not. I deleted it, but most of the time on a Mac when you hit backspace on the icon in the "Get Info" panel, it reverts back to its original icon. This time it didn't. I'd like to get the original folder icon back because it's been bothering me.
How can I do this? Even if I can just get the .icns file or something, I can drag and drop it in there, but I just can't find anything online.

Osx 10.6.8 - how to get legacy motion v5.0.5?

Hi all
I am running Mac OSX 10.6.8. I can't upgrade my OSX because I need 10.6.8 to run other custom code.
I went to the app store to re-install Motion 5 but the latest version requires OSX 10.9 or higher. I checked another 10.6.8 machine and it is running Motion 5.0.5. Is there any way to get the dmg for this Motion 5.0.5 legacy version, or the original Motion 5.0? Or is there some other workaround?
Feel frustrated because I paid for the motion 5 app when it first came out, and it was fine for my computer. Now the updated version on the app store doesn't run on my machine when I need to re-install. Makes me wish for the old-fashioned boxed DVDs.

Did you try contacting support to see about getting the last Motion version available (5.0.7) that works on 10.6.8. Perhaps they can help.
