How to get lightroom work with CameraRaw 5.2?

Hello im using Lightroom 2 and CS4 on a imac 24".
How is it possible to get Lightroom to work with CameraRaw 5.2?
A simple installation don´t work.
Any help is welcome!

Volker- You should update to v. 2.1 asap, and 2.2 when released in the next couple of weeks.
LR doesn't depend on ACR, but has a parallel, more or less, conversion engine built in.

How to get ddclient working with dyndns?

I have installed ddclient and have the following file in '/etc/conf.d/ddclient'. I know that this file is read by the ddclient service since it gives an error if the syntax is not correct here.

I have ddclient listed in rc.conf, but it doesn't update the ip addresses, even when I restart the ddclient service manually.
When I do
ddclient -file /etc/conf.d/ddclient -verbose -debug
manually as root, the IP addresses get updated without any problems.
I would like to know if I am missing something in the config file that would explain why the ddclient service is not able to do the updating by itself.

When I remove the '#' in front of the webskip, I get the following when restarting the service.
]# /etc/rc.d/ddclient restart
/etc/conf.d/ddclient: line 8: web-skip=Current IP Address: : command not found
/etc/conf.d/ddclient: line 8: web-skip=Current IP Address: : command not found
:: Stopping ddclient [DONE]
/etc/conf.d/ddclient: line 8: web-skip=Current IP Address: : command not found
:: Starting ddclient [DONE]
This is the same even if I change from ' to " outside the "Current IP Address: " bit.
Having different code in '/etc/ddclient.conf' has no effect on the error message, so I think the script does look at '/etc/conf.d/ddclient'.

Have you joined the Cloud as a Single App member for Photoshop only?
Lightroom 5 is only included in the membership fee of full Cloud members.
If you're a Single App member then you'll have to purchase Lightoom 5 separately.

compatible with LabVIEW and NI Elvis. However, I could not find more
information on any drivers they provide for LabVIEW, so I suggest you
contact them directly about this. If they have drivers written for
LabVIEW, that should be enough to communicate with the board from
LabVIEW. In order to communicate to NI Elvis, you need to install
NI-DAQmx and NI ELVIS drivers available at this page.

I have now recently downloaded 10.0.2 which is confusing in itself, as, as far as I can ascertain that is actually version 11, but I'm not even sure about that.
Version 10.0.2 is the newest version and the successor to GarageBand '11 (version 6.0.5).
The '11 is referring to the iLife '11 suit of multimedia application - the older GarageBand was a part of this bundle.

What is a raw file?
A raw file is the unprocessed data that was captured by your camera sensor when you took your picture. The only settings on your camera that apply to this file are aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. This means that any effects you may have applied to the file, such as white balance or black and white, may not appear in Lightroom. Your camera will create a JPEG copy of your raw file with all current settings applied and save that within the raw file for use as a thumbnail by most applications. When you first view a raw file in Lightroom, you will see this thumbnail, then Lightroom will read the raw data and create its own thumbnail, which may have a different appearance.
How does Lightroom work with raw camera files?
Lightroom interprets the raw data and makes image information out of it. But every camera has a unique sensor and thus has a unique form of raw file. Even though camera manufactures may use the same file extension each time (e.g. Nikon raw files are always .NEF), each camera model has a different way of storing information. Because of this, we must continually update Lightroom for new cameras. As we add new cameras to the list (over 300 now) we update our published list of supported cameras.

What if I own a previous version of Lightroom?
Supposing you have a camera that came out after the release of a newer version of Lightroom, so that your version of Elements is no longer recieving updates, you have two basic options:
Purchase the latest version of Lightroom that supports your camera.
Use the latest version of the free DNG Converter (for Macintosh or Windows)

The Develop module of Lightroom includes Lens Correction which can read what lens was used from the metadata. With this information it can pick a profile that will reduce distortion caused by the curvature of the lens. For a list of which lenses are supported by which camera bodies, see this list:

Updates to get flex working with the Vector stuff. Had to add support for the new name type, and new applytype opcode to the Optimizer/Merger that flex uses. Also had to slightly change how the instantiated vector classes find their declared methods. Previously they were copied into the new class, but now they just point to the original vector class.

despite the workaround, it doesn't fix the real problem. It shouldn't be a huge deal for adobe to add support for multiple svn versions. Dreamweaver is the first tool i've used that works with svn that doesn't support several types of svn meta data. If they're going to claim that Dreamweaver supports svn is should actually support svn, the current version, not a version several years old. This should have been among the first patches released, or at least after snow leopard came out (and packaged with it the current version of svn).
does anyone know if the code that handles meta data formatting is something that is human readable, or where it might be, or is it in compiled code.

My guess is that you won't be able to do much if you threw away the serial number before using it. The serial number will not have been externally visible on the box though... doing that would make it available for use by anyone who sees the box in any store.
To locate the serial number:

If you remain unable to locate the serial number you might need to head back to wherever you purchased the product to confirm whether or not you might have thrown out the serial number or if it could even possibly have never been provided.

What version of Lightroom works with Photoshop CS3?

They are different programs, so I imagine they all work with CS3. I don't use Lightroom, but I think Lightroom's ability to interface with Photoshop has evolved over the different versions, but I can't think how the Photoshop version would affect that, so the later the Lightroom version, the better.
BTW Lightroom 6 is rumoured to be coming very soon.
