How to get modification timestamp of user in GAL

Hi,
Sorry for bothering you but I have one more question.
In general I have performance issue. I am downloading users from GAL with all details and it takes about 3h. GAL has about 17000 users. I didn't found any solution to make it faster.
But in next sync I would like to get data only for modified users but I don't know how to do it efficiently.
Now I will describe more details.
<pseudocode>
Foreach( var addressEntry in Application.Session.AddressLists[…].AddressEntries)
Var eu = addressEntry.GetExchangeUser()
Var props = addressEntry.PropertyAccessor.GetProperties(…)
LocalDb.SaveContact(addressentry, eu, props)
The most time expensive part is :
addressEntry.PropertyAccessor.GetProperties(…)
,it takes 2,5h. I would like in next “Download Process” download only modified entires but I don’t know how to get the timestamp efficiently. The timestamp is available using this:
addressEntry.PropertyAccessor.GetProperty(“http://schemas.microsoft.com/mapi/proptag/0x30080040“)
, but this is as slow as
addressEntry.PropertyAccessor.GetProperties(…)
, so there is no sense to check the timestamp and if it is old ask for properties.
Can I get the timestamp information in other way, more efficiently?

Mots address book providers (GAL included) are not very good with restrictions.
GAL address book provider does not really do anything that you cannot do through the Active Directory interfaces. You should be able to run AD queries that use the "last modified time" attribute.

How to get the list of users who has access for list of tcodes.

Go to transaction SUIM, this has a number of reports for users/authorisations
open the Where used>Autorization Values>In Users
and double click to execute
in authorisation object, enter S_TCODE
then press the "Enter Values" button
It will offer entry boxes to put the transaction code you are interesed in.
Then execute and the list of users with access to this transaciton code will be returned.

Collaboration -> Rooms -> Room Directory
It will show the available rooms
Select restricted room tab in that.
That will show the restricted room list, if you are not a member of the room you can request the room by clicking context menu of the room and select the Request Membership option. Then it will send the mail to the owner of the room.
In that UI commend they mapped with the roomid and userid.
I need to know how to get the room id & user id in our component.
How to get the Room Id dynamically?
Can anybody help me for this?

you can get the Room ID and the User ID over the API.
Getting User ID within WebDynpro application:
IUser user = WDClientUser.getCurrentUser().getSAPUser();
String logonId = user.getUniqueId();
Getting User ID within custom Portal Component:
IPortalComponentRequest request = (IPortalComponentRequest) httpRequest;
IUser user = request.getUser();

Getting Room Id of a user who belongs to this room:

Hi,
You need to have SSO in between ECC and portal and use ABAP engine as your UME.
then ECC users can directly login to portal using the same user id and password.
Or you can create the ECC system in portal and user mapping should be done for every user to the ECC system.

Use the FM "STATUS_READ" to read both the system and user statuses for an Order.
Alternatively, the following tables store the user and system status info:
JSTO- Status object information
JEST- Individual Object Status

Hello there Anil,
A simple way to quickly get a overview is to look at the request history within the portal environment (note that this will expire in a few day based on your environment, after that you would need to FIM Reporting Module - but you could increase this to
maybe 60 days to so, watch the DB size).
To do this you could create some custom search scopes of do some custom queries. The creator of the SSPR activities always has the same GUID so you can use that so search.
In your search scope you can use the following XPath to play with.
- All Password Reset Requests - /Request[Creator='b0b36673-d43b-4cfa-a7a2-aff14fd90522' and Operation='Put']
- All Completed Password Reset Requests - /Request[Creator='b0b36673-d43b-4cfa-a7a2-aff14fd90522' and RequestStatus=‘Completed']
You can play with the "RequestStatus".

We have functionality to hide all the buttons on Monitor task, which was successfully achieved by javascript. But we need to enable these buttons for only Site Administrators, so that they only can do necessary modifications upon request from end users. What about having your custom ISF onload script first run a db query (on older version called a rcFetch) which would evaluate if the person loading form is a member of the site admin ou.
Here's a rough example:
ISF_onLoad()
rcFetch('Q1','Q1PL=' + UserID);
This will then run a query to validate if the person is a member of the admin ou.
SELECT * FROM DirOrganizationUnitPeople WHERE PersonID = #P1# AND OrganizationalUnitID = 1 (this should be the id of the site admin ou or the ou which you are referring to as an admin)
then have a call back to determine if any records where return, which indicate the person is a member of the site admin ou.

I did not find any clue for how to get user status, i can see the user status when i open the transaction using CRMD_ORDER.

Go to CRM_JEST table give your service order guid and get the status, pass this status into TJ02. You will get the status of your order.

How to get current logged-in user name in data access driver or in universe

In universe, to get the current log in user is via @Variable('BOUSER').
Right now, I need to be able to get the user name in the data access driver. I am writing a customized data access driver because we need to patch some where clause on the the query generated by the universe based on the logged-in user info. I only think of using end_sql parameter or adding an universe level filter to patch the @Variable('BOUSER') to the query, which would not work if user want to use customized query.
Can anyone tell me how to get currentBO user name from connection server ? or how @Variable('BOUSER') is translated into the logged-in user name in the universe?

I do not know your EJB Service. But you should pass the credentials of the current logged on portal user to your service. That's not by default I think.
I had a similar problem with CAF developed webservices. I had to turn on permission checks in my web service and passed the credentials via logon ticket.
