How to get monthwise opening qty / value for previous years
I do not get the month wise opening quantity and values for the items for the previous years using the below query. How i can modify this query to get opening qty / value of any year less than current year.

How to get the open order quantity for a material

We need to get the open order quantity for materials. At present we are using the following logic...

How to get the list of values for a dynamic parameter using Web Services SDK?
<p>I am struggling to get the list of values for a dynamic parameter of a report.</p><p>I am using Java Web Services SDK ... I tried to use PromptInfo.getLOV().getValues() method but it does not work.</p><p>First of all ... is this possible (to get the list of values for a dynamic param) using Web Services?</p><p>Second of all, if this is possible, how should I do it ... it seems it works fine when running the report from CMC. It asks for DB logon info and after that it provides a list of values.</p><p>Thx </p>
<p>Your assumption is correct. We are trying to get the LOVs from the Crystal Report. I was not aware that this is not supported by Web Services SDK.</p><p>We used Web Services SDK to integrated the Crystal Reports in our web application. We implemented some basic actions for reports: schedule, view instances, run ad-hoc reports.</p><p>We encountered this problem when trying to run/schedule reports with dynamic parameters (a list of values from DB). How to get correct opening blance data for the quarterly report in BOFC?
Hi all,
I have a problem with getting the opening balance for the quarterly report.
i would like to keep the beggining balance data for the end of previouse year. (eg: now is 2010, then keep the begginig balance at Dec.2009 for each quarterly reporrt through the year in 2009).
however, for example in the second quarter, if i choose the beggining balance of Dec.2009 in the Consolidation definition, there is a problem that consolidation FS does not include the manual journal entry that ive entered at the first quarter such as goodwill.
Do I need to make manual journal entry at all the quarterly reporting period if I want to set the beggining balance for the previouse year end?
Could somebody please tell me how to remediate to this issue?
Or how do you manage with the opening balance in BOFC?

I have an issue related to pcr. I want to get the value of a wage type from previous year and it has to be added to another wage type. Tried to write pcr by using the operation TABLE. But i am not able to get the previous years data. Request to help in writing the PCR for the issue.

2 - Create a PCR that will be activated on the last pay of the year to read the WT you want and transfer it's information into your Information WT.

I need some help with expressions.I need a report that shows calcul of a field for current year as well as previous year respecting this rule expression(Last-Last Previous)/Last Previous*100 (I work with MDX Query and i work with SSRS 2008).
Also the report runs on a Year Parameter. Below is an example for the result

If i understand your requirments correctly ,you need to read the value of the Variable and Put it on the layout. Here is how i would solve this,
Read the value of the variable using an ABAP program.The logic for this would be to read the variable value and post it on the layout on a cell.You can do this by calling the ABAP program on opening the layout.this can be done using LB_EXIT_FM T-code. Now using the SAP delivered SAPAfterDataPut macro, read the cell in which you have placed the variable values and assign it to the necessary values you want to on the layout.All this will be done before the layout opens.

Our cube contains different fiscal years of order qty/delivered qty for a material (e.g. material A). We use fiscal year variant V9 (Oct. - Sep). We would like to generate the following query result to list the material, order qty, fiscal year, and then for each calender month, the delivered qty value for the corresponding fiscal year:
Column title:
Material --- Order Qty --- Fiscal Year --- Oct --- Nov --- Dec --- Jan --- Feb --- Mar --- Apr --- May --- Jun --- Jul --- Aug --- Sep
Just give two rows of data for material A:
1st row data example:

Actually in each row data for material in different fiscal year, all the KFs in columns should be restricted to the fiscal year value. What we do is to use selections other than structure or RKF. What we is following listed in details that you can check if what we do is correct:
Under KF structure:
1. Create a selection for the 1st KF (Order Qty). In this selection, Order Qty is restricted with the characteristic 0FISCYEAR.
2. Create a formular as 2nd KF for the FY value. This formula KF use the value of a formular variable with Replacement Path of the the characteristic 0FISCYEAR. But somehow this KF value shows "X" values in this column. We defined this Replacement Path variable with the Reference Characteristic as 0FISCYEAR and all others keep default. But don't know why this column shows "X" values. We also add 0FISCYEAR to the row, and find the one does have data in the row. Any idea why put it in formular variable onto column not working?
3. Create a selecction for the 3rd KF (Oct). In this selection, restrict Delivered Qty with the characteristic 0CALMONTH2 (Calendar month) and further restrict 0CALMONTH2 to a fixed value: October
4. Create a selecction for the 4th KF (Nov). In this selection, restrict Delivered Qty with the characteristic 0CALMONTH2 (Calendar month) and further restrict 0CALMONTH2 to a fixed value: November.
Then the following steps are similar to step 3 and 4 to create all other Month columns. We wonder in all these selections, would we have to restrict them further with 0FISCYEAR?
Therefore we've got two questions:
1. Why in step 2, the formular variable doesn't work and the FY column shows "X" values?
2. Do we need to further restrict the delivered qty with the characteristic 0FISCYEAR for each month column which corresonding to the fiscal year in the same row?
