How to get Muse to export a true dash - - -

Hi,
I use Muse to create a site that contains a lot of reference to the following word: latter-day. There are other hyphenated words, as well.
When I type the dash it shows up in the HTML export as: -
I then have to change all the references to - in Dreamweaver.
Is there no way to have a dash show up in the code as a dash in Muse?

Hi Jane,
I tried to Google to find any information on that and I didn't find anything. But what I found was, Google does not penalizes for invalid html.

In Forms 6i, I need to know how to get the result of a ping if the ping is sucessful or not. It should prompt the user whether the connectivity is there or not after the ping statement which is HOST('PING 191.10.10.40'). As of now, when the user select the desired LOV, the corresponding HOST statement is executed. But if the connectivity is not there, the user is left in blank with a hanging situation... So can we not prompt the user if the connection has been failed or not?

You can try this.
Redirect the output of the ping test to a file. Read the file using TEXT_IO and see if the test is passed. For ex
host('ping <your_ip> > c:\ping_test.log');Will redirect the ping output to ping_test.log file under c:\ drive.
Open the file using TEXT_IO and check if you have the text "Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss)". If you have, then the host is reachable. Otherwise its not. Depending on that, you can change the flow of your application.

How to get pdfs to export or print from Safari?

I'm having a very serious intermittent problem getting pdf's to print or export from Safari. Occasionally when I try and open a pdf in the browser I get an error message that Adobe Reader needs to be opened (even if it already is open) and then I need to close out Safari and re-open the link to even see the pdf. But after that, sometimes when I try to print or export the file, all I get are blank pages. I've tried having them downloaded or printed as images but that doesn't work either. It's very frustrating.
I've tried trashing Adobe Reader and re-installing but to no avail. It's gotten to the point that I often just open Preview and do a screen grab of the pdf's and save them that way. Not the best workaround.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Yes every time I open the app it makes me accept the EULA or else it won't work as a reader. That's not the problem. The problem is not being able to print or download the pdf file from the browser after I accept the EULA. Any other suggestions?

I am using the XMLBeans framework bundled with Weblogic. If any element is not set or set to null, the toString method of the complex element returns with an attribute xsi:nill="true" alongf wit the namespace definition for xsi in the XML header. Is there any way to suppress this xsi:nill="true" and the xsi namespace definition. My element entry in the XSD is "<xs:element name="zip" type="xs:string"/>"

now i checked, How many subFolders is there in "path", get the All Subfolders and check to the Article Name.
Example

When a file is uploaded, the file name is also submitted. The path of the file is available only to the machine within the Local Machine security zone. The value property returns only the file name to machines outside the Local Machine security zone. See About URL Security Zones for more information on security zones.

is there any other way to get an input file from a local host aside from <input type="file"> tag?No. Not using just html.
You could always go into activex components, but thats different again.

Using 6-7 year old software that's no longer receiving updates & was never designed to run on 10.10 is asking for trouble. That said, try re-installing PS and installing Java SE6
