How to get music from CDS on to my Iphone?

I recently got a new laptop with Windows 8 on it for college. I put all of my music from our old home computer that had my itunes library on it originally on a passport and uploaded it to itunes. I had never plugged my iphone 5 into itunes before today when I saved all my music to my new laptop. I have music saved into itunes from the old computer that was taken off of CDs that I own. They show up in my new itunes library but I can not get them onto my phone.  I have tired syncing a few times and it doesn't seem to be working. I got all of the music I have purchased from Itunes but none of the music from my CDs. How can I get that music on my phone?

No. It's not impossible, but it's not free.

I have a different problem, perhaps someone can help.
My friends music library is on a hard drive, I can move songs to my library, they play fine on my computer.....However, when I try to move them to my i-phone, they turn to a light grey color and will not play on my phone.  They also have a circle with dots in front of the song.
Some security limitation apparently, just trying to over-ride.
    Song format is .m4a

how to get musics from my Ipod nano back to my mac ?
I mean, using apple approved or suggested softwares.

    Hey there,
There are several ways you can pull the music off your iPod and onto iTunes.
There is a very direct method, which I personally prefer, but there are also numerous third party applications, which will help you accomplish the task as well. The link below provides step-by-step instructions for the direct method as well as a few third party applications if you choose to go that route instead.
It would also be a good idea to re-authorize your computer if you have any purchases from the iTunes store. Hope this helps.

    Hi scousewayne,
Welcome to BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
You will need the BlackBerry Desktop Manager installed on your computer to synchronize music to your BlackBerry from your iTunes. If you are using Desktop Manager 6.0, Select Music and select either All Music or Random Music and select Sync.

  • How to get music from PC into iCloud?

I just found my original iPod but the clickwheel isn't working. I tried restarting it but it doesn't work and it's probably over 7 years old so I don't expect that it will. However, I want to listen to all my old music since when I got a new iPod, I got a new iTunes account. I plugged my iPod in and got all my music on my computer but I was wondering if there was a way to put that music into my iCloud so I can have it on my iPhone? My iTunes shows the little iCloud symbol because I have it for my new iTunes account but iTunes shows no way for me to get the music through iCloud. My endgoal is to be able to have the music from my old iPod on my iPhone so it's more accessible and I'm having a tough time figuring out how to do that.

    Hello catherinexcobain,
I read your post, and it sounds as though you'd be interested in iTunes Match. I have linked to an article about iTunes Match which contains a number of details:

  • How to get music from iphone into itunes library, that was not purchased via itunes??

Hard drive crashed, I restored my itunes music from a backup, but the backup was not updated, I'm missing music that I have on my iphone playlist, this music I got from a friend, I didn't buy it from itunes. Question: How can I get this musica from the iphone into my itunes library???
    Thank's for the help!!!

The music sync is one way - computer to iphone.  The only exception is itunes purchases.
You may be able to purchase a third party program ( not supported by Apple).

  • How to Get music from IPOD to External HD?

My external HD Failed.  I have some of the music backed up on DVD but all most all of it is on my IPOD.  Does any one know how I could get the music from my IPOD to my new External HD?  One problem I think I will have is that I have about 100G of music and an 80G Macbook.  There are some programs out there that let you take the music from your IPOD to you computer but they put the music right on your internal HD.  Mine won't have enough room.  So this is a problem.  I had my old External HD set up to hold all my music so when I downloaded it, it went straight to my EX HD.  I don't know how I did this because I had help from the genius bar.  Can anyone help out?

annoying. itunes seemed to be a well designed product which did everything effortlessly. shame if apple didnt make it work for non apple MP3s. is Sharepod the only way to link non-apple MP3s or is there other products as well designed as Itunes that work? doesnt look like Sharepod has anything like the podcast and easy search music directory features of iTunes.
