How to get music off my iphone

How can I get music off my iphone? My other itunes library was wiped and and now I have a new one, I cant do the new updated I'm scared ill lose everything on my phone.

The iphone is not a storage/backup device.
The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is ituns purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You should copy everything form the old computer, or your backup copy of your old comptuer.

The syncing of music is not a true sync process - not really a sync at all. It is a transfer process. No iTunes content in your iTunes library will ever be touched or removed by syncing an iDevice.
Where is your old computer - the one with your iTunes library that was used to sync with your iPhone? Why didn't you transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to your new computer along with all other important data such as documents, photos, etc.?
If your old computer is still available, transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to your new computer per the instructions included with this link. This will prevent any iTunes content from being removed from your iPhone with the first sync with iTunes on your new computer.

How do I get music off my iphone and into my itunes

I had several CDs that I had downloaded into my itunes and put them on my iphone. Then my computer crashed and I had to get a new one. Now none of those cds are in my library but they're still on my iphone. How can I get them off my phone and into my itunes? I cant sync any new music because it says my phone is synved with another itunes library and if I do, everything on my phones gonna be erased. Help????

You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup!

How to get music bought on Iphone to my PC?

I bought most of my music in the iTunes store via IPhone.
After having upgraded iTunes to the latest version, I figured out that I am missing a complete music album on my PC. When looking into the iTunes store, bought items, it only shows me that all music has been downloaded, and there is no button that I could use to download again..
I even did a test b manually deleting one of my previously bought songs on my PC, and also was not able to dowload it from itunes any more since iTunes seems to think (again) that the song is on my PC.
So, how to get the music on my PC for decent backups?

There are several ways you can pull the music off your iPod and onto iTunes. The first link below provides step-by-step instructions for the direct method if you have a PC as well as a few third party applications (for both the Mac and PC) if you choose to go that route instead. You can also do a simple Google search for "copy music from iPod to computer" and you should receive a number of sites that can help you out.
Just make sure that when you have your iPod plugged into your computer, that you don't hit "Erase and Sync" before completing the task of copying your music over.
Also, if you have any purchased music, you will probably have to re-authorize your computer by heading to the Store drop down menu and choosing "Authorize computer."

Now that I'm using Match, how do I get music off my iPhone?

I've got Match enabled on my Mac, iPad 2, and iPhone 4. I have a bunch of music on my phone from before I enabled Match (about 8 GB worth) that I would now like to delete all at once. I'd rather keep the drive space free and just dl matched songs as needed. When I try to manage the music on the phone in my iTunes window, though, there doesn't seem to be a way to do it anymore.When I select the Music tab on my iPhone while using iTunes, I am presented with a window that says "iTunes Match is On." Any thoughts on what I need to do here?

You can go to settings>general>usage click on music and then swipe across the music and a delete button will appear.
Press the delete button and your music should delete.
You cannot manually manage your music from the computer and have itunes match going also.
You either have to have match working on your phone or be syncing the old way. You cannot have both right now.

I just got the new iPhone 4s. Synced it to my iTunes and iPhoto. I downloaded photos to iCloud from my iPhone 4 before I got the new iPhone 4s. Unfortunately, iCloud was not turned on on my iMac. So, the photos did not go to my iPhoto stream. I tried connecting my old iPhone 4 to iPhoto, but now iPhoto doesn't recognize it. How an I get those photos from the elusive and mysterious iCloud? I downloaded the photos to iCloud from my iPhone4 via wi fi while in the ATT store just prior to getting the iPhone 4s. On my iPhone4, the Christmas party photos are on the camera roll and also on the photo stream. On my iPhone 4s, there are no photos in the photo stream. However, the photos that I took at a concert last night did upload to iCloud and are visible in the photo stream on iPhoto. The Christmas party photos are not on the iPhoto photo stream.
So, where in the iCloud are the Christmas party photos? --- I should've just emailed them to myself the old fashioned way.

I see that ipod touch 5 will not open as an external storage device in order to download and back up songs to external hard drive or flash drive...
I have a new laptop. Itunes is not yet installed on it.
I am afraid that if I do install the Itunes - then he plugs in his Ipod to sync - he will sync to an empty folder - thus erasing his songs...
Is this right?
Or do my libraries still exist?
I would really feel most comfortable if I could just get the songs off of his IPod and into back up before I install ITunes on the new laptop.
I can always re-import the songs back into Itunes, can't I?

Correct. The iod touch is not a backup/storage device.

Also correct.

Your library will only be where you put them. You shoudl always maintain a backup copy of your comptuer.
Copy everything from the backup copy to your new computer.
You can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: Without syncing - File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

I just purchased a new iMac today and I have all my music on my other iMac.
I used to plug my iPod into the new computers I got and copy the songs onto it.
But my iPod got stolen.
I was wondering if I could do the same thing with my iPhone.
Is there a program that is compatible with the iPhone that allows you to take the music from it and copy it onto a computer?
