How to get my Lightroom 4 on my new computer?

I got a new computer and would like to transfer or download lightroom 4 onto it. I don't need it on my old computer anymore, I just want it on the new computer, with all the pics that are already in it. Any clues on how to do this?
Thanks.

There are a couple of options for downloading Lightroom 4:
    Mac: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5566
    PC:  http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5567
The page linked below should also have links for Lightroom 4:
    http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-lightroom-4-is-out.html#ddl
Be sure to follow instructions regarding signing in or else the downloads will not process properly.  If you visit one of the other download pages in that site they have a section called "Note: Very Important Instructions" that gives specific steps for signing in.
As far as all the pics that are in it, you might want to ask about that in the Lightroom forum if no one answers here in that regard.
You can deactivate it on the old machine if you plan to never use it there again.

  • How to get ALL data from ipod to new computer with itunes??

I have a ipod touch 2nd gen. I have cd's and purchased songs on my ipod. I did use itunes on my friends computer for a number of years but now I've got windows 7 computer and i have downloaded itunes but it won't let me transfer current data on my ipod to itunes without me loosing it all. I can only access itunes at friends now. Is there any way to get all my songs, playlists, apps (with data still on it) and photos without deleting it? I am looking for the cheapest way possible. I have tried downloading copy software but it all costs money. Thanks

    Photoshop Elements

What is the problem? Do you need the installation files? Then download the trial and enter your serial number into that.

  • How to get music from old ipod to new computer

I have an old iPod nano and I want to get the music to my new computer (iTunes).
How do I transfer it without losing the music? All the music in the iPod used to be stored in my old computer/itunes, which not longer exists.

    Hi rominabate,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you want to move your music from your iPod to your new computer. The article linked below provides several options for recovering music from your devices and backups, like transferring music that was purchased from the iTunes Store on your iPod to your computer.

  • How to get my old apps to my new computer?

I have a new MacBook as my old one crashed. How do I get the apps I am still using on my iPad/iPhone on my new computer?

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.  Just copy everything from your backup to your new computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, then you can transfer itunes purchases from your idevice: File>Device>Transfer Purchases

  • How to get my purchased music back on new computer

I just traded in my 3 month old, older version iMac intel, for the new one, not sure I got a good deal, but wanted it and it's another story heh..anyway, I backed up my music library on a DVD-R, but how do I get them into my library on the new computer? It's blank there when I hit the iTune icon. All I have is the U2 library, and they're on my iPod, but I'd still like them there. So what should I do?
    Thanks!

  • How to get stuff from Performa HD to newer computer?

I was surprised (well, stunned) to find that a friend has a Performa and wants to get his files off the 160 MB hard drive to an iBook or something. I don't know the model number, but it looks like the only potentially useful ports they had were SCSI. Can that be used for data transfer? I guess you would need some impossible cable like SCSI to USB or something. The only other alternative I can think of is floppy diskettes but that would be quite tedious (might take 60-80 diskette-loads) and we'd have to find an external USB floppy for the new computer. Or is there an easier way?
    Thanks, Jim

    Jim,
Networking would be the best option but other alternatives exist.
" it looks like the only potentially useful ports they had were SCSI. Can that be used for data transfer? I guess you would need some impossible cable like SCSI to USB or something."
Yes, SCSI can be used for data transfer. Find an external SCSI CD-ROM drive that someone has given to Goodwill, pull out the drive and replace it with a hard drive.
Do you know someone with a Mac that has CD burner? The Performa 475 has an internal SCSI hard drive that could be removed and put into an external case. That external case could then be attached to an older Mac with a SCSI port and a CD burner. The ID would need to be changed but other than that, SCSI works great for data transfers.
And yes, they do have SCSI adapters but the cost is more than the cure is worth for a one time use. External zip drives are also an option. They come in SCSI and USB. Cost is really the prohibiting factor. You will either pay for one time use of hardware or pay someone to make the transfer. User groups help make trips into the past more affordable.

You can use your backup copy of your computer to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy, then you can transfer them from the iphone.  Without syncing:  File>Transfer Purchases
    Or you can redownload them:

  • How to get pictures off my ipod to new computer

    hi
i have like 900 pictures on my ipod touch. and im synching to my new mac. but it doesnt synch the pictures from the ipod touch, is this like the same thing where the music is locked into the ipod ?
    thanks

similar, it's more to do with the lack of disk mode on the iPod touch, meaning you can only sync one way (unless they are itunes purchases, which will sync both ways)
    three options
    1) copy them from your old mac to your new one using the same method you did for copying any other documents (assuming you're just upgrading and didn't get a new one because your old one was dead)
    2) email them from your ipod to yourself (since 3.0 you can email more than one photo at a time, but quality may not be great)
    3) google 'ipod to computer' (or 'ipod to mac' maybe), and download some of the third party software which will allow you to move things the other way. there is a lot out there, some is free, some is not. you could also search these forums, there are many threads, some of which list some good third party software for the job.
    hope that helps

  • How to get old songs on itunes on new computer?

I backed up my itunes before, but not after some of the music/artwork/etc was added. My old computer fried and I managed to recover some of the old music on the new one. However, some of the songs are not the versions that I have now and there are some songs that I deleted soon after starting up itunes that are back. Along with that, some songs that I didn't buy or get from a CD are gone. If I plug in my ipod to the computer and sync it, will the songs that I have on my ipod now (that I would prefer be what is on my computer) be erased from the ipod? Or will it replace the stuff in itunes with what is on my ipod?
If theres a process I can go through to get this stuff back to the way it was on my old computer, I'd greatly appreciate it if someone explained it to me. If the only way to get everything back right would be to go back and redownload everything seperately, please let me know because it would be a pain to have to go through the downloading and redownloading of multiple songs.
