How to get my pictures back after recovery mode?

Hi, I'm new to this so sorry if I'm asking a question that has already been answered. Ok here's my problem, Yesterday my phone wouldnt turn on so my friend put it into recovery mode. I was at work at the time so I used the work PC to unbrick the phone so that I could recieve calls. Everything was gone from my phone which i expected but taught once I connected to my own itunes all photos, apps, messages and contacts would come back onto the iphone but all that came back was my contacts. Does anybody know what I done wrong and is there anyway of getting back my photos? I had only backed up my phone on Friday night so everything should have been there. Any help at all woukd be great.

The photos that were previously transferred from your computer were re-transferred to your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process. Unless the photos that were in the Camera Roll were imported by your computer before this happened to your iPhone, your only hope to recover these photos is by restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup.
The iPad cache folder has nothing to do with this. Photos transferred from your computer are optimized for viewing on your iPhone as part of the iTunes sync/transfer process which creates the iPad photo cache. You can't sync with the iPod photo cache which has nothing to do with the iPhone's Camera Roll.
For future reference, you should import photos/videos in the Camera Roll ASAP as with any other digital camera.

I have been working on photo's and doing the export the laptop freezes up on me, so I have to shut down everything and re-open. When I go to open LR5 back up I get an error message saying that there is LR already open and that I have to open a new folder - Since I have editing all (about 900 pictures) - is there a way of getting those back Instead of having to RE-DO all of them. Which is what I am **** right now and it is VERY hard for me.
I would Love to get a answer on how I can get the photo's back instead of having to re-do all of them again. THIS has happening a few times to me now and I don't like it.

okay Error message is as follows - pop up window has confirm on the top of

Is Aperture not launching at all? Then update Aperture like Ernie recommended. You'll need version 3.5.1, or 3.4.5 with Mavericks. If you have any Aperture 3 version, you should be able to update for free.

If for some reason you did fail to do this, then they are very liekly gone.

How do you save pictures through the recovery mode. I have the black screen with cursor and despite trying all the tips noted here nothing seems to fix the issue. These have included using Utility disk to re-install OS-X, repairing the disks. Also tried the holding shift on start up and entering username and password. Also tried internet recovery and then repair and re-install. Nothing works!
Happy to restore from a back up, but I have been rubbish and not backed up for a long time. Also happy to delete and re-install completely but don't want to loose pics.
Please let me know any suggestions!!

Iphoto library gone after software upgrade/update..Does anyone know how to get my pictures back?

Hello, I have a Macbook Air and 3 days ago, I had a "crucial update" on my computer but accepted it before looking at what it was for. When my computer auto restarted, my iphoto library was completely gone. Does anyone know how this could have happened?
I have the OS X 10.7.5 and iphoto 9.2.3... The update that I did may have been the Os X 10.7.5 but I did not look at what the update was being quickly clicking the accept button.
Unfortunately, I do not think that my pictures were backed up on the "time machine application". Any help would be great for how I can get my pictures back.

You should have been syncing all of this to your computer regularly.
Just sync it back.

Authorizing the computer has nothing to do with getting the iPod out of recovery mode. A program like the following may work. However, some error happened in the iPod and necessitated theiPod going inoto recovery mode.

pics taken with your iphone should be imported as with any other digital camera. If you failed to do this and they are not in photo stream, then they are gone.

You would have received a prompt telling you that you didn't have sufficient space to beck up your phone if that was the case. Also, not everything on your phone is stored in the backup so you wouldn't need 11.7GB to back it up. You can see the size of your backup by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your phone under Backups and look under Options.
If it says "downloading" it's probably still downloading your pictures from iCoud. Check Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup at the bottom to see the status of the restore process.

My iPhone 5 kept saying "Searching..." at the top when I was in a place I normally get full service LTE. After a really long time staying in "searching..." mode, and toggling between airplane mode on/off, and looking through my settings and checking everything, I decided to use my last resort option to restore it through iTunes. I backed everything up from my phone onto my computer including photos so I am 100% okay with anything being erased. I tried to restore it, but after successfully "extracting the software", the restoration process began and then when it was almost finished, it stops about 75% of the way there only to give me an "Unknown Error" message saying how my device cannot be restored. Now I think my phone is stuck in recovery mode and on the device itself there is a picture of a wire being pointed at the red iTunes music note symbol saying to connect to iTunes. Not that it helps. Because when I do that, nothing happens. I could try to restore it again only to have it fail. And now my phone is officially unusable because it appears to be stuck in recovery mode or on this screen that says to connect to iTunes. It doesn't matter if I try to turn it off with the lock button/home button. Nothing gets me out of this screen. I need help! Cannot afford a new phone at the moment. Please, anyone with advice would be greatly appreciated. If you have a similar issue I extend my deepest empathy but please do not comment saying "I have this problem too" or anything like that because I just wanna get this solved. Thank you!!!
