Wrongly i configured my iphone with some other apple id n nw all tat other user id data is been reflecting in my iphone, how shlud i gt my old data back with my original apple id. You can log into your iCloud account on another computer or device and enable photo stream to see your photos. You should do this as soon as possible because photo stream in the cloud only keeps photos for 30 days and each day you delay, you will lose another days photos.

If you kept a back up of your device you can use it to restore to a replacement device, this will restore all of the photos in your camera roll and isn't time limited.

Okay ... you might be able to get back some of your past purchases if your country's iTunes Store supports redownloading past purchases. See the following document for instructions:

... but if you didn't maintain a back-up, then other content (songs that you'd ripped yourself from CDs and so forth) is gone, and you'd have to reimport it.

I was updating to IOS 8 thru iTunes on my 4S and it came unplugged. Now it wants me to restore settings. Is there a way to undo this and get 'old' phone back with all of my info/pics/contacts/etc?

In short. No, you cannot unsync. If you had a back up from your old iPhone you cand restore from a back up.
In iTunes go to Edit > Preferences > Devices > and select the latest back up.
Before you synced your phone did you have it set up with the PhotoStream or iCloud? The pictures would be saved there. Or if you had them sync to a file on your computer.

Whenever you have a question, please post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements) and the results you want from that data. Explain how you get those results from that data.
If you can show your problem using commonly available tables (liek those in the scott schema) then you don't have to post any sample data; just the results and explanation.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using.
I believe your problem is very much like this:
Say you want to display one row for every ditinct job in the scott.emp table.

Archive and Install: How to get my data back?

I did an archive/install to resolve a "computer not going to sleep" issue. It did resolve the issue but now I want my data back. I see it is all probably in the folder titled: Previous Systems. How do i get things into this new install (such as my addresses, photo's, calendar, email boxes etc.)? Thanks in advance...Karen

You should copy and put things in selectively. You know how file systems work, yes? There is a home folder, and in this folder there will be a documents folder, a library folder, a photos folder, etc. I would suggest you open these folders in your previous system, find the files you want, and thene copy and paste them into the new Leopard home folder.
Think of it like moving into a new apartment. Sure, you might have a little more space, but do you really need to take that fishing tackle set you got at work from your secret Santa? Do you ever fish? No! And you sure as heck don't want to take the heater with you . . . it might not even work in the new place, and how would you hook it up? (the heater is a metaphor for the system files like those in "library")
Also, when you get to the new place (the new Leopard system) you want to make sure everything is in it's right place. A good way to do that is to look and see where it was stored at the old place (galoshes are right by the door, next to the coat rack - same thing in the new place).
Okay, I think I'm going overboard with the metaphor.

if you did not do a back up of your phone and memory card there is no way to get back the information. you can't roll back anything the memory or firmware once done is done for good. sorry i know this is not good news

For iTunes version 7 or later, then you can transfer purchased iTunes store music from the iPod to an authorized computer by using the "file/transfer purchases from iPod" menu. Note that the maximum of 5 authorized computers applies here.
For all other non purchased music (your own CDs etc) try this method which works on some Windows PCs.
Enable your iPod for disk use.
See: iPod Disk Use.
Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
If this doesn't work (and it may not because officially it's not supposed to), check out the instructions/suggestions here.
Music from iPod to computer (using option 2). This a manual method using "hidden folders" and although it works, it is a little more involved than other methods.
Much easier ways are to use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Another free program is Pod Player.
SharePod is also freeware.
If you want to recover just the structure of playlists from the iPod (and not the actual song files themselves), there's iRepo for Windows. which I understand has this feature along with all the standard features for these programs.
iPodRip also has the feature enabling you to reconstruct playlists.
There is also CopyTrans. This does preserve ratings/playcounts etc if those are important to you but this program is not free. It also supports video transfer.

Downloaded new version, replaced old version, now says no space available and won't launch. I need to know how to get old version back

Usually if I try to download something that is too big a message comes up saying that there's not enough space. This didn't happen when I tried to download the latest version of Foxfire. It asked if I wanted to replace the old version and I did. When it was done, it said 0 bytes available. The icon came up with a circle with a line through it. I get a message that says it cannot be launched. If I go into my finder and click on it it says it is not supported. I need to know if I can get the old version back because I've lost all my bookmarks etc. Unless there is something else I cn do to get it working.

How to get my data back from TM after new hdd/re install

my main drive broke, so I have replaced it and reinstalled 10.6. I was on 10.6.2 and let TM do its thing, so I do have all my documents/downloads/etc backed up in TM, but i am a relatively new user to OSX.
After the reinstall, when prompted, I set the original TM drive to be the new TM drive and then I shut down (had to come to work lol).
So, before I carry on and do something wrong, how do I get my documents, mail, downloads and applications back from the TM? Will I have to do the UID thing to match the TM drive/user as my OS drive is a new physical drive?

You did not have to reinstall OSX. The best, most reliable way to recover your entire system from backups is to use the procedure Apple provides for that, as detailed in #14 of the Frequently Asked Questions *User Tip* at the top of this forum.
Your best bet is to start over with that procedure.

How to get old data from old mac without knowing password

Hi. We still have data and pix on an old mac desktop g3. When we bought our new desktop last? year apple wouldnt transfer data for us. We are just getting around to it now, but when i turn old one on it asks for password which i cannot recall and hint doesnt help us. Is there a way to either retrieve this password remotely or simply "get in" without it? There are very few files, if any that i want - just thousands of pictures that i do! If you have the the Mac OS X installation disc used to install 10.2.x, there may be a way to reset the password. NOTE: I don't recall if 10.2 had it, and there are situations where this method does not work.
Insert the disc in the optical drive, and start up with the C key held down. This should force startup from the optical drive. When you get to the Installer screen, go up to the menu bar. For 10.2, I think the command to reset password (if it's there) is under the Installer menu, but look around the other menus. I believe this reset pasword command only works if the user account password you are trying to reset is for the original primary user account set up on the Mac.
