how do you get your old library back after you make a new one?
An iPod can only sync with one iTunes library. If you try syncing with another one iTunes will ask you if you want to replace the current contents of of the iPod with what is in the iTunes library in the present computer. That is the way it works. You can however, manage music amont different computers. See:

Usually if I try to download something that is too big a message comes up saying that there's not enough space. This didn't happen when I tried to download the latest version of Foxfire. It asked if I wanted to replace the old version and I did. When it was done, it said 0 bytes available. The icon came up with a circle with a line through it. I get a message that says it cannot be launched. If I go into my finder and click on it it says it is not supported. I need to know if I can get the old version back because I've lost all my bookmarks etc. Unless there is something else I cn do to get it working.
If you tried to install Firefox 4, it will not run on OS X 10.4 or PPC Macs.

IPhone stolen, how to get old contacts back?
My iphone has gone and I have a new one on insurance. My old phone had ten years of contacts on it that the guy in the shop had transfered from my previous phone when I first got the iphone. I have a vague memory of a colleage at work setting me up on itunes on a work computer but I had never used itunes and stupidly never sync-ed or taken a backup of my contacts as far as I am aware, although presumably there must have been something that happened right at the beginning to get my phone started. Is there any way I can find my old contacts? They did not immediately appear when I plugged my new phone in - all I got was a random list of email addresse when I asked it to look at my google account. Do they exist on a file somewhere?
Your contacts are gone. The iPhone was never designed to be a stand alone storage device. While contacts are included in the iPhone backup, that backup only happens if you sync or manually create a backup. Since you don't sync(bad idea), no iPhone backup exists to restore from. Further, contacts are designed to be synced with a supported contact application on your computer. Had you been doing things, as designed, it would be a simple matter of restoring your contacts. Don't make the same mistake with your new phone.

imported my itunes folder into my new computer's users music folder via firewire. i had already pulled over itunes music folder. why don't any songs show up in itunes? if i go through the finder i can drill down to the individual track to play. and i can go to itunes > file > library > import and add each song, one at a time. not happening.
i can't find a thread with a clear instruction on this on the forum either.

That was not the problem. Don't rename the iTunes music folder.
The iTunes music folder is inside the iTunes folder.
The /Music/iTunes/ folder is the entire library.
You need to copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder from the old computer. -
I downloaded the new version of itunes and when i plug my phone into the computer and try and do something in itunes it wont let me because my device is synced to another itunes library. how do i get my old itunes back? or how can i sync my stuff into the new itunes with out deleting anything off my phone? Copy the iTunes folder from the old computer to your new one.

've just upgraded to latest version of Firefox 4 and my Mac is only OSX.10.4.11 and now it won't open. How do I downgrade and get old Firefox back. Don't want to lose all my bookmarks. Why was I able to install in the first place. Very frustrated!!
You can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
You can trash Firefox 4.0 then re-install Firefox 3.6, it will use your existing bookmarks, passwords etc

ITunes keeps takeing unauthorized withdraws from my bank account. I have tried to figure out how to get my money back from the 4 unauthorized withdraws to my account. I cant figure out how to get there email address or how to initiate a live chat with them and there website has been no help to me. Can someone please tell me how I can get my money back

Have a new PC desktop with 4 hard drives, new c, d and old c, d, My ipad library is in old c, how to get my itune open the right drive, it keeps on open in new c drive. It said my computer is not authorized. I want to move all the old c to the new c drive, or get the itune to open my old c drive when I log in.

Tried to update ITunes, but keep getting error: Service "Apple Mobile Device failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."
So how do I get my ITunes back?Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.
