How to get phone contacts onto sim card off k800i

Hi all's
I am hoping you can help me please. I have a lot of contacts on my k800i they are on my phone memory as far as i can tell. I want to put them directly onto my sim because my screen is cracked and i had to get a new phone. I have all the contacts backed up but i dont want to have to manually add them to my new phone. I just want to transfer them to sim ,pop the sim in my new phone and have my contacts available on my new phone.
I have added a screen shot of the folders but cant find a folder saying contacts or anything like that.
Do any of you know where i can find the folder or file i need to take and import into the sim card or how to do this.
It would be great if some of you could help me. I have attached a screen shot you can see the folders if you need any more let me know.
Thanks in advance for any responses or help.
Kind Regards
John

http://www.fjsoft.at/en/downloads.php Download My Phone Explorer (MPE) to  your PC, connect your phone to it via USB (phone has to be in Phone/PC mode) and this will allow you to read/download contacts  in both phone memory and SIM card,so that you can either transfer them from phone to SIM, or transfer them directly from SIM to your new phone, if it's compatible with MPE.

  • How to store phone contacts to sim card on the BB 8900?

I need to know how to store my contacts stored on my 8900 phone to the sim card, as I cannot find an option to do it. Even when I use the desktop manager, I can only recover the contacts to be stored on my phone and not my sim card.
    Thanks

    Hi there!
I'm a little confused now as to what you desire...the two sentences in your post seem a little bit contradictory. Are you asking how to store your contacts on your SIM? Or are you asking how to backup the contacts that are already stored on your SIM?
    Thanks!

  • How to copyi all phone contacts to SIM card

Hello, I'm using this really bad network on my blackberry and it's really hard getting any good data service off it. As you'd imagine I wanna change to a better network. I was hoping I could copy all my contacts (they're less than 150) onto the sim memory before changing SIM cards, any ideas how it's done on a blackberry q10 device?

    Hello,
Using the SIM as a method of contact list saving is not a good idea IMHO. The BB contact list is robust (multiple phone numbers per person) where the SIM address book is weak (one name and one number only). So, even if you accomplished it, you'd wind up with a mess -- John Smith on your BB has 3 phone numbers...once you use the SIM, he has 3 completely separate entries, one for each of those 3 numbers. Not good.
So, the question comes, what is your actual desire here? Do you wish to migrate your contact data to a different device? Is that other device a BB or something else? Do you have your contacts "in the cloud", so that you can use that as the medium for transfer? Do you have your BB synchronizing with Outlook via LINK? If so, then that could be your method.
More questions than answers, I fear...so we await your reply.
    Thanks and let us know!

  • Synchronising phone contacts and SIM card contacts

    I have a 5300 music express.
Incoming calls or missed calls from contacts recorded on the SIM card are displayed as "no Number".
Unknown calls display the number, and it displays the name for contacts recorded on the phone.
How do I get the phone to stop displaying "No number" for the SIM card contacts?
    regards
    Will

I think that you misunderstood, none of the contacts are synced with Google and only one is stored on the sim card. The contacts were imported from Backup Assistant when I got the new phone.

  • How to import iPhone contacts to SIM Card?

I am buying a new phone, and I have a lot of contacts on my SIM. I don't know how to transfer my iPhone contacts to my SIM?

Maybe if you gave us some clue what kind of phone you're getting... If you're getting a newer iPhone, then all you have to do is back up the old one, and restore it to the new one. If you sync contacts with a cloud service that's compatible with your new phone, you can just sync them down. Virtually no modern smartphones actually store contacts on the SIM. The format for contact storage on a SIM card can only hold a fraction of the information many people keep for their contacts.

  • Coping contacts onto sim card

Hi, I have just bought the BB 8310, curve, and I currently have all my contacts on the phone memory, and i want to transfer them onto the sim card.. is this possible and if so how do I do this.
    Thanks.

There is no really good way to do this. The only way it can be done is one phone number at a time. There is no bulk way to do it. Your best bet is to use BlackBerry Desktop Manager and create a backup of your device.
If you really want the contacts on the SIM:
Open a contact in your address book.
Scroll down to a phone number.
Press the menu key and select Copy to SIM Phone Book.
Repeat for every phone number. This includes if you have multiple numbers for a given contact!

  • Can't get my contacts from SIM card?

I have taken my SIM card out of a really old  Samsung and cut it down, put it in my iPhone 4s it works but have no contacts....? How do I get them?

IF the Samsung actually stored the contacts on the SIM, and you didn't damage the SIM when cutting it:
    Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Import SIM Contacts.

  • HT4994 export phone contacts to sim card

hi i want to export my phone contacts to my sim card how is this done thank you

You can't. iPhone stores no data on a sim card.

  • Syncing contacts from sim card & merging with outlook

New phone - contacts from sim card were added to iphone. I do not have these in outlook but do have a few other "contacts" in outlook. I would like to keep all of the contacts on the phone and added to outlook. Will I lose my sim phone contacts because outlook contacts will be added to phone?

If you have contact entries on the iphone and the computer to which you are syncing, then you should be able to merge the two when you sync.

  • How do i copy contacts from my phone to my sim card?

I want to copy my contacts from my phone to my sim card so i can then activate my new iphone 4s, but i cannot find the option to do this.

Is the old phone an iPhone as well, or another brand?  If another brand, then you'd have to ask in some other non-Apple forum.  But your sig mentions an iPhone 3GS, then you need to sync your data to iTunes on your mac/pc.  Then sync the new iPhone 4s to get the data onto it.

  • Transferring contacts from SIM card to phone

I'd like to transfer all my old mobile phone contacts from my SIM onto the phone or onto my google contacts.  The only way I can see of doing this is manually, which would take many hours of typing.
Also, has anyone worked out how to get in contact with Palm directly?  I've tried the 'live chat' in the support thing but either it doesn't work or noone answers.  I love my PalmPre but find the O2 and Palm 'helpdesks' unknowledgeable and uncontactable respectively, so would appreciate any help with this.
    Thanks in advance!

Glad you got it sorted but that would have been the the most obvious thing to do in the first place.
BTW you can also copy them all to memory card too, good to have them backed up there as well.

  • Copying contacts name and number onto SIM card

Hi. Firstly I know there are topics* on this, albeit outdated and offer no real solutions.
    This issue need serious attention.
    Scenario
BB Curve scroller is broke, can't scroll up/down.
Backed up my contact list to restore later when I get my fixed phone back.
Meanwhile, to use a replacement phone, I will need some contact names + numbers on my SIM.
I cannot count on the replacement being a BB, don't count on sync.
    Solutions
Copying a few contacts one-by-one is _not_ an option, without a scroller this is impossible.
Example: Home screen > press "c" for contacts -> filter to contact > menu > press "v" to select view > can't scroll to the number to actualize the 'copy to SIM' menu action.
So, how can I copy my contacts to the SIM card?
    Notes
Reading the older threads, there is very unhelpful biased rude remarks about how this requested "feature" is not 'important' enough or a real requirement for modern phones.
I say this house is built on wobbly foundations. This is the base of HID (human interaction devices), cross communication and transfer of data.
I'm disappointed in RIM for locking down the device in such a way - so many folks ask for this feature, because it is a standard around since the first of cellular phones.
SIM card may only have 32K of storage, but I still expect them to keep a name and a number if I need.

Unfortunately, I don't either. If you delete the MobileMe account from the iPhone, I believe you'll erase all of the contact info on the iPhone. If it's not in MobileMe either...well, that's not good!
One possibility for the contacts data (but not the calendar data). Contacts are backed up when you sync the iPhone (not to your Address Book via sync with MobileMe active, but in the iPhone backup made by iTunes before a sync). There's 3rd party app, MobileSyncBroswer, which can export the contact info from the iPhone's backup file on your hard drive. You'd need to buy a license to actually export the contact data, the free version lets you see part of the contact info so you can make sure it's there.

Hello i have one IPhone 4S and I use 3G net in my mobile sometime I have problem with temperature in my phone at the SIM card or battery how can I fix this problem. By update or version of 6.1.3

Could it be because the SIM card got damaged while I cut it to fit the IPhone?
Very likely. Hard to believe the carrier in Mexico doesn't have a micro-SIM card available.
Or somehow the Chinese carrier found out and locked it?
    No, which is not possible.
What can I do? Get a new SIM and see if it works again?
Get a micro-SIM from the carrier in Mexico that you don't have to manually cut down. If that carrier doesn't provide one, switch to another carrier that is not so low-budget.
