How to get Photos from iPhone to MacBook?
I've just upgrade my iPhoto library to the new Photos app and photos which used to automatically copy from my iPhone to all my devices, including MacBook are no longer copying. I can't use iCloud as I have too many photos to mirror the whole library and connecting my iPhone to MacBook by cable no longer syncs via iTunes either ... HELP please
and connecting my iPhone to MacBook by cable no longer syncs via iTunes either ... HELP please
After connecting to your Mac by USB download directly to Photos or to Image Capture.
If iTunes does not copy from your photo libraries to the iPhone, it looks like you enabled iCloud Photo Library on your iPhone. Then iTunes will no longer sync photos, and My Photo Stream will no longer stream from your Mac to your Phone.
Try to disable iCloud Photo Library in Settings > Photo&Camera. -

How do I migrate from a 2008 MacBook Pro without a screen to new 2014 MacBook Pro?
How do I migrate from a 2008 MacBook Pro without a video screen to a 2014 Macbook Pro?
Use your backup drive instead. No backup drive, then get a monitor and connect it to your computer. Or take the whole shebang to the Apple Store for help with the transfer. Or you can remove the drive from the old MBP and put it in an external enclosure.

How to get photos from iphone to ipad ...?
I am tyring to get photos from my iphone to my ipad...the photos from the ipad moved to my iphone but photos from the iphone did not move to the ipad. Photostream settings are on; wifi is connected on both devices...
You're welcome. It is possible to stream to older photos to your iPad by adding them to a shared photo stream and inviting yourself as a subscriber (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99). Another option is use an app like PhotoSync to transfer photos between your devices over wifi.

HELP - how to get photos from iphone after Telstra wiped it
Hi
I am asking this question on behalf of my sister. She had her second child last week and her husband took heaps of photos on his iphone from the birth and the first couple days in hospital, I'm not sure what model his iphone is but he only got it in the last couple months. On the weekend him and a mate mixed their phones up, his friend kept putting his pin code into my brother inlaws phone and by the time he reaised it wasn't his phone he had locked it up somehow (I don't have an iphone so I'm not sure about all of this!) They took it into the Telstra shop and they got the phone working again, but in the meantime it wiped all his contacts/photos etc that were stored on the phone. My sister was very upset as now they don't have any photos from when Charlie was born. The girl at the Telstra shop said they are gone forever and there is no way to get them back but I am hoping there is somehow - can anyone help us?
Thanks
JadeSounds like the girl at Telstra did a restore of the phone and then wipe out all the data on your bro-in-law phone.
Data could've been saved if your bro-in-law would've synced his phone to the computer he normally syncs too.
By doing the restore there is no way to get the data back from the phone. Sorry. -
How to transfer photos from iphone to macbook
transferring photos fom iphone to macbook
Import using iPhoto. Use Photo Stream if you have iCloud enabled on both devices, otherwise it will need to be plugged in. If plugging in, open iPhoto and click on the iPhone under DEVICES. Click the photos you want to put on the Mac, then click Import.

Importing Photos from iPhone to Macbook Pro
I was importing photos from my iPhone to my Macbook and I accidentally unplugged the USB while the photos were being imported. When I try to plug my phone back in and import the photos again, a message pops up saying that "photos are being imported", even though no photos are appearing. I have tried to shut down and restart my computer, but I am not allowed to do either because iPhoto won't let me ("photos are being imported"). Any suggestions on how to import photos?
Apple Menu -> Force Quit to force iPhoto to quit.

How to transfer music from iphone to macbook pro
I recently bought an album on my iphone 5c from the itunes store, I expected it to transfer straight to my itunes on my macbook pro and my ipad but it hasn't. I've tried to redownload it on my macbook but it wont let me as it says it's 'purchased' on the itunes store but isn't in my library. Please help!!
Hi ..
Two ways to do this ...
Using iTunes > iOS: How to transfer or sync content to your computer
Or, if you want to sync your music between the iPhone and iPad to your Mac automatically via Wi-Fi, use iCloud > Apple - iCloud - Learn how to set up iCloud on all your devices.
You get 5GB's or free storage space. -
Need help uploading photos from iPhone to Macbook Pro?
So say I took a lot of photos on the iPhone, then I created several albums that contain a substantial amount of photos too. When I uploaded photos to the Mac using iPhoto, I noticed that all the photos got put together into one "Event" and the other albums in the iPhone were nowhere to be found. Is there a way to upload photos so that the "Camera Roll" gets an "Event" and the other albums get their own respective "Events"?
What I want to know is how to upload photos so that each iPhone camera album appears as a separate "event" in iPhoto. Please help and thanks in advance.Per the iPhone User Manual, I don't believe you can do what you're inquiring about.
Among other things, it clearly states albums on the iPhone are not transfered to iPhoto as such. -

Only photos in the Camera Roll get imported into the iPhoto library when connecting the iPhone to your Mac.

How to transfer photos from itouch to macbook pro
Hello,
long story short, my iphoto library got deleted before the transfer was complete to aperture.......i now have 2000 corrupted photos. i only have one back up. ther are all still on my itouch (4th gen with 4.3.5). i need a way to transfer them to my macbook pro (mid 2009 2.53 ghz running lion 10.7.1) i have tried just imported via iphoto and aperture but all it does is transfer the files that my ipod has saved on it, the camera roll i think its called. what would be the best way to get all of them? The backup of the ipod only contains the photos from the camera roll. You might be able to transfer the other photos using 3rd party software like Touchcopy for example.

HT5887 how to sharing data from iPhone to macbook pro using an airdrop?
hi all i just wanna ask about an airdrop. i want to send my data from iPhone to my MacBook Pro, but the airdrop doesnt exist on my MacBook Pro. thx a lot.
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
You cannot use AirDrop to transfer files between an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and a Mac. You can only use AirDrop to transfer files between two iPhones, iPads and iPods touch, or between two Macs. This is caused because AirDrop does not work in the same way in iOS and OS X.
