How to get photos into computer

Can someone please tell me how to put photos I've taken with my iPhone, and put those photos into my PC? I've looked everywhere and I find info only on how to do the opposite of what I want to do.

How do you get photos from your iPhone camera roll into photo stream?

When I plug my iPhone into the PC as well as iTunes coming up the Windows AutoPlay popup appears. If I choose Open device to view files in Windows Explorer, I can then see the folder containing the photos and copy them to my PC. This worked fine for me, although from Google others have had problems.
I suppose I could now put these back into the Photo Stream on my iPhone via iCloud by putting them into the Photo Stream/Uploads folder on the PC.

Windows XP User: I Don't Understand How To Get Photos Into iTunes

So I have hundreds of photos living in Picasa on my XP PC. How can I get them into iTunes (or anywhere for that matter) in a manner that they can be viewed via Apple TV?
I own Adobe Photoshop and ImageReady; are those potential solutions?

How to get photos into Quick Collection?

I just installed
Lightroom 3 and I have lost
my circle to put photos into Quick Collection. " Set Quick Collection as Target" is grayed out, but no other collection has a white + indicating that it has been designated as a Target Collection. What can I do to restore my circle for Quick collection? Thanks for your help.

I don't have my LR3 test laptop in front of me, but since your preferences are probably started from scratch when you loaded LR3, right-click one of the images in the grid and select "view options". Under the "Cell Icons" options there is a box that should be checked called "Quick Collection Markers". See if that works.
You might have other options like this that you selected in LR2 that didn't make it over to LR3 automatically.

I have loads of Notes in my 5800XM (firmware v20).
How do I get them in my computer (say as text files)?
I tried PC suite. It seems to have export option for contacts but can't find anything for notes.

If you have a windows pc you can synchronise Notes on the 5800 to the Outlook using PC suite, I guess you can find the customise option in the PC suite sync settings. A quick and dirty way is to e-mail all your notes from the phone and download it on to the PC.

I'm trying to figure out how to get photos I've received by email (through Mail) into iPhoto. I seem to remember seeing Jobs demonstrate it onstage a year or two ago but I can't remember what he did. I recall it was a simple one or two step process.

on an e-mail with photos attached go to the Save button next to the attachments list, point to the triangle to the right of Save inside the button and hold the left mouse button down - a menu will appear with save all at the top entry, a list of photos below that and "add to iPhoto" as the bottom entry - move your pointer down to the "add to iPhoto" and release and your photo will be a new event in iPhoto

2. Organize and sync.
First choose where you’d like to sync your photos from. I use iPhoto, but you can use any photo management system.
Check the box next to each album &/or event you’d like to sync.

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 working on? Have you updated it from 12 to 12.1 Update using an opened project's Help Menu/Update. If not, please do so.
For your immediate problem.
What is the model/settings for the JVC camera that recorded you video. I want to get at the properties of your source video including the file extension.
Since you are getting video, but no audio, please download and install the free codec utility named GSpot to see what is shows
for your Audio Name and Status.

When you import your source file into the project, do you see any "conforming" activity going in a progress bar at the bottom right corner of the workspace?
If so, do you wait for it to complete before you move forward in the project?
Can you get sound in any of your Premiere Elements projects with this current JVC file or other?
Can we assume that your troubleshooting has included checking
a. Volume control within the project
b. Edit Menu/Preferences/Audio Hardware ASIO
Let us start here and then we can decide what next if necessary.

I have AppleWorks 6.2.9. I would like to know if I can get photos into AppleWorks. If so, how? And would JPEG work? Or, TIFF?
Have checked Appleworks help and a book I have on Appleworks. No help. At least not that I can find.

Problem getting photos into an iPad Air

I plug my previously working Apple Camera Adapter (holding SD card containing photos) into an 30-pin/lightning adapter and this assembly into my iPad Air (model MD786B/A) - but photos now don't show up to be transferred. So how do I get photos into the iPad from an SD card ?

1. Was the SD card used in a camera and is that how the photos got onto the card?
2. Did you previously use the 30 pin SD Card Adapter with the 30 pin to Lightning Adapter successfully?
The SD card readers (either 30 pin to SD Card adapter or the Lighting to SD Card Camera Adapter) are designed to be used with SD cards that have been formatted and used in a camera. The iPad expect to see a specific organization of the photos. First there must be a folder named DCIM. In side that folder photos must have specific naming structure. IMG_xxxx.jpg is correct where xxxx refers to a four digit number.

That is a link to get your songs back, in case you lost those too.
As for your pictures, this may or may not work, but it's worth a shot.
Also, unless you put the full picture onto the iPod (there is a setting to only put what would be viewable on the ipod onto the ipod), they may turn out smaller.
1. Open iTunes, open Preferences (in the Edit menu). This will stop iTunes from seeing the iPod, so it won't try to update it. You can see the above link for more inforation about that.
2. Open the iPod in My Computer. (may show up as a removable disk or as the name of your iPod, funess' iPd, for example.
This is where I become unsure of how this will work
Try finding the photos in the iPod's folder that you just opened. See if you can drag them to another place on your computer. That may or may not work, but it's worth a shot, in my opinion
