How to get photos show up in a video project?

Hi! I'm trying to import photos from a Canon Powershot SX210 IS into a movie project. I first imported the photos into iPhoto library and photos show up in the project, then I drag and drop then into the project timeline but once I play the video project it only shows black instead of the videos. What do I have to do? Do the photos have to be in certain file format / certain size? Now the photos are raw 14 megapixel monsters. Thanks for help!

I have the same problem and it's not just when I input photos but even when I add a transition at the beginning of the show.

That is a link to get your songs back, in case you lost those too.
As for your pictures, this may or may not work, but it's worth a shot.
Also, unless you put the full picture onto the iPod (there is a setting to only put what would be viewable on the ipod onto the ipod), they may turn out smaller.
1. Open iTunes, open Preferences (in the Edit menu). This will stop iTunes from seeing the iPod, so it won't try to update it. You can see the above link for more inforation about that.
2. Open the iPod in My Computer. (may show up as a removable disk or as the name of your iPod, funess' iPd, for example.
This is where I become unsure of how this will work
Try finding the photos in the iPod's folder that you just opened. See if you can drag them to another place on your computer. That may or may not work, but it's worth a shot, in my opinion

Make sure Settings > iCloud > Photos > iCloud Photo Library (Beta) = "Off"
Then sync your iPhone using iTunes and make sure your sync settings for photos are set correctly in iTunes.

on an e-mail with photos attached go to the Save button next to the attachments list, point to the triangle to the right of Save inside the button and hold the left mouse button down - a menu will appear with save all at the top entry, a list of photos below that and "add to iPhoto" as the bottom entry - move your pointer down to the "add to iPhoto" and release and your photo will be a new event in iPhoto

It's best to export the photos to a folder and then drag the folder onto the memory card. Memory cards are usually formatted for PCs, FAT 32, which doesn't permit more than a limited number of files in the root directory. Putting the photos in a folder gets around that limitation.

2. Organize and sync.

Can someone help me get Photo Stream to appear under Web in the iPhoto Source List? I have updated all my software. iPhoto 11, Mac OS X 10.7.5 All of my preferences are checked. I am able to see the shared Photo Stream on my iPad, but not my Mac. The Mac iPhoto photos from the shared photo stream are appearing in the Photo Stream (under Recent), but I thought they would appear as a shared Photo Stream in its own file/album (like on the iPad and iPhone) - labeled with the shared Photo Stream's title. Reset Hard Drive- Settings > General > Reset > Reset Settings
Delete/Transfer Photos- Connect your iPhone to your computer by inserting the charging cord without the charging block into the USB Slot. Open iTunes and click on NAME's iPhone in the devices section. Go to Photo & Video and select the photos you want. Hope that helps!
