How to get pictures from a flash stick to amac air??? help

i have installed a fash stick into my mac air, and now it will only show me the pictures it wont let me save them to a folder. Why do they make these so difficult. ?? Must be a simpiler way. like my old pc was way easy.
    If anyone can help please...

I sincerely doubt that'll work. TO make it work you'd need some sort of file manager on the iPad.
Now if you had the camera connection kit, and the USB was one of the ones that work - I've had about a 50/50 success rate getting USB's to work, and the USB was formatted correctly you might be able to pull a photo off the USB into your device. In theory it works, there's just a lot of 'ifs'

I have a new MacBook Air and don't know how to get info from my USB stick and get info from my SD card.  Can anyone help, please?

Plug the stick and/or card into the appropriate slots on the side of your Air. Do you see icons for the devices appear on the desktop? Click into them to see what files are there.

  • How to get pictures from iphone 4s to iphoto?

I am unable to get the pictures from my new iPhone 4s transfered to iPhoto on my iMac (version 10.5.8).
It does sync via iCloud to my iPad, but it will not transfer pictures to iPhoto when connecting the phone to my iMac. The phone doesn't appear on iPhoto... I don't have iCloud on my older iMac. It is not very impressive if you must have iCloud to be able to get pictures from iPhone 4s to iPhoto!
    Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem.  I know that doesn't help you, but at least you know you're not alone.

How do i get the pictures from the sd card in the slotof the e-station

    Hi,
Are you talking about reading/copying photos from the card reader on your printer ? If yes, please use the following instructions to map the card reader to your network:
        http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&docname=c00149194
The simplest way is to put the SD card on your machine (If it had a card reader).
    Regards.

Sync them to your 5c by connecting it to your computer, opening iTunes, clicking on the name of your phone in iTunes, going to the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings, check Sync Photos and select the folder that contains the photos, then click Apply at the bottom to sync your phone.

  • Please tell me how to get pictures from a stolen iphone

Please can someone help me retrieve pictures from an iphone, I'm currently traveling for 4 months so can't access icloud from my laptop as I only have my iPad2. My boyfriend has had his iphone 4 stolen 2 months into our trip, and I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to get the pictures back off the phone as there are 2 months worth of travel pics on this device! I'm not bothered about the music that's in there although it would be a bonus to get that back to.
His icloud/ Apple ID is different to mine but I can't seem to find a way to sign into his I cloud from my ipad2! Any help would be much appreciated I basically just want the pictures back from that phone!

That's not possible. If the phone is gone then so are the pictures unless you transferred them to iPhoto.

  • How to transfer data from USB flash drive to iPad Air?

How do I transfer files and data from a USB flash drive, or from a PC, to an iPad Air?

With a USB flash drive you might, if the drive doesn't require too much power, be able to copy photos and/or videos (if they are under a DCIM directory on the drive and their filenames are exactly 8 characters plus file extension) from it to the iPad's Photos app via the camera connection kit.
What sort of files do you want to copy to your iPad, and have you got an app on your iPad that supports the file type that you want to copy to it ? Everything on your iPad has to be stored within an app, it doesn't have a 'file system' like a computer. Different apps have different ways of copying content to/from them e.g. via the file sharing section on the iPad's Apps tab when connected to your computer's iTunes, via your wifi network, email, dropbox.

  • HT4859 how to get pictures from icloud when Iphone is stolen

how to pictures and music from Icloud when phone is stolen

Photo stream photos can only be access from another iOS device or computer signed into your iCloud account with photo stream enabled.  Camera roll photos (and videos) are contained in the iPhone backup, assuming you have one.  If you backed up to your computer using iTunes, you can extract the photos from the backup using 3rd party software such as iPhone Backup Extractor.  If you backed up to iCloud, your these photos can only be accessed by restoring the backup to another iOS device.
Music isn't included in the backup; it should be in your iTunes library.  Music purchased from iTunes can be redownloaded again for free (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519), but music from other sources, if not in your iTunes library, cannot be recovered.

  • How to get pics from windows xp pc to ipad air

I have an iPad air and iPhone 5 now. I want to get my pics that I transfered the micro disc thing from my old android phone to my pc on my iPad. Help?!

I didn't realize that you weren't running iTunes already but I should have been prepared for that, so I'm sorry that I took it for granted. In a way, I'm glad that iTunes did not open and automatically try to sync your iPad which could have erased any apps, app data or anything else that you have already downloaded onto the device.
Do you already have downloaded content on the iPad? With what you said about not having anything in iCloud I'm not sure what you have on your iPad. Typically, For the device timing out problem, I would recommend quitting iTunes, restarting your PC and restarting your iPad and then try again.
I don't know if you know how to do this, but this is how to restart the device. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
I don't want to overwhelm you with too much if you are new to iOS devices, but If you have content on the iPad that you do not want to lose since you have never synced with iTunes before, this is a very helpful user tip that describes how to make your iTunes library the syncing library for your devices.

  • How do I get pictures from my computer to my iPad mini?

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

  • What is the best way to get my pictures from a memory stick to my iPad?

What is the best way to get my pictures from a memory stick to my iPad?

Technically, they will import off your flash drive....if it's one of the models that work (maybe 50% do) and if they meet the very rigid naming convention that the iPad insists on.
It's far easier to use a computer then either sync them on via iTunes, e-mail them to yourself or upload them to something like dropox, then download them onto your device.
