How to get retro pay in bw.

I have the same issue. payslip shows the retro amounts correctly, but i can't figure out how to get the right amount using the data found in the RT table..
one thing i got is, when all retro amounts are added up, less the deductions and adjustment in retro the value is equal to that from wage type /552.. but i can't figure out how to get the breakdown using RT data..
retro amounts have the letter "R" before each wage type.

i found this program RPCLGA00.. it shows the right values/amount for each wage type, including retro.. but i am still unable to figure out how i can arrive at the same values using RT data.. can someone help me understand the program?

This function does all the work :
HR99L00_GET_RETRO_MONTH_DIFF
You just need to input the wages you want retro of and it will give you the values of retroactive payroll results.
the logic behind it is always a headache to do by hand, but basically it will compare the retroactive month to the previous result for that month and calculate the differences between the wages (say for example wagetype 0001 had 1000,00 in INPER 201105 FPPER 201105 and 1500,00 in INPER 201106 FPPER 201105 it will bring in this function for wagetype 0001 500,00 for period 201106).

I need to get the last day of the payroll period e.g. last day of Jan 2007 is 31 Jan 2007. Can anyone suggest as to how to get it?

T549S contains the payroll periods with pay date. T549Q contains the begin and end dates of the payroll period.
You can select from the appropriate table (or from both depending on your given data) to get the end date of the period.

Is your formula attached to basic salary element or some other element? You need to make sure that basic salary element has some value and is processed before this formula is called. Are you able to see value for basic salary element after payroll run?

What is it you need - Windows installer disc or something else? Your question is unclear. Could you be more specific?

Movies work differant than TV shows, music and apps. With movies, to get them from one device such as an iPod Touch to an iPad, you would need to connect the Touch to your computer first and in iTunes under the file menu, hit transfer purchases. Next connect the iPad and you can sync the movie to the iPad.
While the iPad is connected to the computer, in iTunes, click on the iPad in the left pane and when the screen loads, click movies and from there, you can select the movie that you want to sync.

Retro of offcycle payroll in Actual Payroll

Hi Gurus,
I have Executed offcycle payroll on 02.07.2009 for one employee and paid 1000. on 25.07.2009 i have executed regular payroll for that employee was fine. Now in august i have to pay regular salary as retro with effect from 01.07.2009. Now i have executed regular payroll for august and payroll result is showing three results.
1) Retro of offcycle of 02.07.2009
2) Retro of regular payroll for july
3) Regular payroll for August.
If i stop the retro in the actual Payroll for offcycle then there will is no RT created in case of retro from previous month for offcycle. In this case posting program thinks that we have incorrectly paid offcycle payment and when we do retro for previous period then amount those are actually paid and posted are reversed.
Any comments on Issue

Retro Pay

Assume an employee gets paid 1,500 for August.
Now payroll comes to know that his salary is actually 2,000 and not 1,500.
The following are the steps required to be performed.
1. Define a new element which can be used to pay the Retro amount
2. Make sure that this element is Non-recurring and Multiple Entries allowed.
3. Attach this Element to the retro tab of the Salary element
4. Define the Assignment Set - An assignment set needs to be defined with the affected Employees
5. Element Set - define with the Salary element (Don't include the Retro Element. Error while submitting the Concurrent Request) .
6. Now run the Process Retro Pay by Element with the following parameters
a. Effective Start Date: This is the date from which we want to compute the difference
b. Effective End Date: A date in the latest Pay Period. The retro entries get created in this period.
c. Assignment Set: The Assignment Set we created
d. Element Set: The element set we created
e. Submit the request.
Question that where we have to define the changed amount on retro element or the main salary element and what amount only difference or complete 2000 have to put into input value of retro.. ?

Hi,
The steps you have given are the setup steps needed for Retropay process to work. Once the setup is done it will process the previous pay periods based on the input parameters to the process and generate the retro element entries for the assignments.
The change in amount should be updated for the employee in the element entry screen with a correct effective start date before running the retropay process.

I'm writing a program to read payroll results from a flat file and need to upload into a ZTABLE i.e., custom table with RT structure. The file does not have seqnr or inper or fpper. Can you please tell me how to get the inper and fpper without seqnr? Is there anyway we can do that?

Hi Abby,
This flat file you are receiving the pay info from....how can you tell which pay periiod it is drawing data from? The INPER-In Pay Period and FPPER-For Pay Period tell you what pay period is involved. For example, an employee turned in some of his hours worked late. The pay this week includes pay for this week plus pay for last week. So pay in Period 37/2009 (INPER) includes some pay from period 36/2009 (FPPER). Thus, you would need to have these differentiated by the sequence number. If you did not know that, you just have a lump sum earning from the flat file with no way to differentiate.
You did not say you were using SAP Payroll, but if you are, suggest you use some of the standard reports - such as Wage Type Reporter or Payroll Reconciliation Report. If you are creating your own ABAP Program, use the payroll function modules such as pyxx_read_payroll_result. These all look at the payroll clusters and extract the data in a readable format.

How to get data of reti or reto table from payresult for retroactive

Hi all,
is there any of you have an experience in retrieving data for RETO or RETI (payroll retroactive accounting inflow) table in payresult?.
It is usually retrieved using pc_payresult t-code by the functional guy. RETO or RETI appears where there is a correction in the employee's wage. for instance, in January, the employee's wage is $3000 and he got a promotion so that he get $4000 monthly. but the payroll has already been posted, and the $3000 has already been transfered to his account. So that the salary raise ($1000) will be added in February and he will receive $5000 ($1000 + $4000) in February and $4000 in the next months. Using pc_payresult, in January, there will be created a RETO table which contain $1000 while in February there will also be created a RETI table which contain $1000.
In the ABAP HR code I am using PYXX_READ_PAYROLL_RESULT function mdule, but I didnt manage to find the table (RETO or RETI). If you guys have solutions regarding my problem, please have them shared with me.

The FM HRCM_PAYROLL_RESULTS_GET works well but it still cannot show me the RETO and RETI table.
The RT table you mentioned above with betrg field is the total take home pay, which I already knew hot to get it.
My problem is when using tcode pc_payresult, if I click on each of the records I will get several tables such as:
WPBP
RT
RT_
CRT
BT
VERSION
PCL2
VERSC
TAX
INS
RETO
TAXCU
MODIF
Please notice the RETO table.
but when I use several FM, it only get me RT, WPBP, BT, CRT,... but not RETO table.
I need this RETO table because I want to get the data in it.
Do you know how to get the RETO table?
