How to get rid of Adobe Reader on my OSX 10.9.5

I have a Mac mini, using OSX 10.9.5 and was forced to download Adobe Reader by Public Works, government of Canada, in order to print their document. For starters this is SO wrong.
When I completed the download, Adobe Reader wanted me to approve it replacing my Preview, which I didn't want to do, so I answered NO.
Now I can't get into the damnable Adobe Reader to get rid of it.
Can you please let me know how to get rid of ALL of Adobe Reader from the download?

Macintosh HD > Library > Internet Plug-ins
Look for these two files.
AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin
AdobePDFViewer.plugin
Right click on those and select “Move To Trash”.
Restart the computer.

PREVIEW is great for what I need, and if I could just get PREVIEW to take over all PDF duties, I'd be fine.
Alternatively, if there's another PDF reader/writer etc. for Mac, I'd pay real money for it if necessary.

It may be necessary to go to Adobe's website to find an uninstaller.
Preview should automatically take over the job.
I don't have Acrobat and have no problems so far.
I removed it about six months ago when it's major vulnerabilities to malware were pointed out.
Never follow links from pop-ups that say you need a new version of Acrobat, Flash or other software (video codecs are a favourite) as they stand a high chance of being re-directs to malware sites.
Always check the latest versions from your own bookmarks to the vendor sites.

I downloaded the trial of Premiere Elements 9 and
began editing a project. Then I made the purchase frm Amazon and installed the serial number in the trial version. I can't get rid of the Adobe watermark on the transitions. Even clearing the transition and inserting the same one or another transition, it still caries the watermark. How do I get rid of it?

Please if someone could help, that would be greatly appreciated.
So my company uses these forms ( a total of 10) for different purposes when getting new resellers for our manufacturers. With a few of these forms our manufacturers want a copy of the new applications sent to them
We have created them accounts and they recieve notifications by email just as we do. The only issue is we wish to get rid of the banner on top that says "Adobe Forms Central". The issue is we do not want our manufacturers to see we are using an outside source, no matter how well it works.
Please if anyone has experience with this let me know. I am attaching a screen shot of the banner in case I am not using the propper term.

How to get rid of Acrobat reader (completely)?

it's somewhat a stupid question. I got tired of Acrobat reader on x86-64 and decided I would go for the available software on Arch. I uninstalled my bin32-acroread package through yaourt, but after that I still have the option set by default all around my system to open pdf files with Acrobat Reader... How do I get rid of this?

You should set an another application for opening application/pdf files. For example
xdg-mime query default application/pdf
will probably return AdobeReader.desktop as a result which means that application/pdf mimetypes are assigned to Adobe Reader. If you want to change it to evince, for example, you should do something like
xdg-mime default evince.desktop application/pdf
If you do not want evince then you should check for your desired application desktop file under /usr/share/applications.

Hope some one can help. How can I get rid of a adobe popup in
the middle of my screen?
When running the tutorials theres a adobe 'project created
by' pop up in the middle of the screen. It's actually there right
from the beginning. I've also created a simple movie and get the
same thing when I publish it as export html. The pop up doesn't
appear in the previews. Clicking on the X on the top right corner
of the pop up doesn't work.

Are you maybe using the trial version? If so, maybe it's
something in the trial version. If you have the full version, you
may be referring to the preloader. Click Edit > Preferences...
> Project node > Start and End node. There you may either
DE-select the Loading Screen or choose one you like better.

I have a failed update (program is already updated, the Adobe updater downloaded the update again, and put an icon in the lower right... Win7 computer)
Since the update of course will not install, the stupid icon won't go away

How to get rid of Adobe Creative Cloud?

Woke up to an upgrade of adobe application manager without an option to leave as is and now I have something called adobe creative cloud which I don't want. How do I reverse the upgrade and re-install adobe application manager? I don't like the cloud or anything to do with it.

You can create a folder named "SCUMSOFTSUCKERS" and place those two icons in that folder and continue enjoying the use of your PlayBook while knowing each day you have corralled them into a corner at least in one man's own little world.
Or hide that folder icon over on a far panel and never even have to look at it.
But if you do toss your PlayBook in the bin, let me know... I'd be happy to pass it along to a local less-than-priviledged child or even ship to a soldier serving overseas... might could use to communicate back home.
