This is definitely something small but very annoying, Only happens sometimes when I receive art from customers. This issue prevents my Mimaki / Fine cut plug-in from tracing the actual art itself to plot. Instead it just traces the bounding box.. Any help would be awesome. Also just an opinion on this software in general- It would be nice to not have to make 10 steps to do something very simple like removing a box and just leaving the art?

Sorry for not getting back to you guys, I figured it out. All you have to do is hit "EMBED" on the top menu and then you are free to manipulate the art. Thanks for your time though.
Also, It is a printe/ cutter mimaki cjv30-130 prints and plots on one machine. I will use the image and trace it/raster, Then select or draw my cut paths

forum post here it is explained that Azure websites use application and request routing (ARR) to keep a client (browser) always on the same VM instance.
For my website sticky sessions are fatal for scaling and I need to make 100% sure that all subsequent requests from every client are equally distributed through all VM's. Some clients will make almost no additional requests, but some clients will do a hell
of a lot of subsequent requests. Now the round robin distribution of only the initial request could (and mathematically eventually will) end up in a situation where the heavy load is sticky to a single VM.
Of course I could add some JavaScript to my application to delete the ARRAffinity and the
WAWebsiteID cookies set by ARR to make sure the delivered page looses it's stickyness. It would be re-added with every subsequent request and I would have to delete it every.single.time.over.and.over.again. This seems to be a non-optimal solution.
It would be better, if I could disable this behaviour completely for my website. Is there a way to disable the VM stickyness in Azure Websites through ARR, or do I really have to manually delete the cookies after every single request?

And then when you reply to a post you click the camera button at the top of the post window to attach an image.
From your description it sounds like you are adding an event to iCal and it is syncing (which is what its supposed to do). If you see something in iCal on the Mac and you don't want it there, click on it once and then go to Edit > Delete.
If you still can't delete that event:
1. First make an iCal backup: Click on each calendar on the left hand side of iCal one at a time highlighting it's name and then going to File Export > Export and saving the resulting calendar file to a logical location for safekeeping.
2. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
3. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
--- NOTE: To get to "Home > Library" in Lion: Click anywhere on the desktop and then click on the "Go" menu at the top of the computer screen while holding down the "option" key on the keyboard. You will see "Library" in the menu.

Can't get rid of the blue "downloading the latest applications" bar that seems to be just hanging and won't go away. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but the bar is still there after 2 days. I updated something (can't remember what!) on I.E., and it had the same blue bar, but it had a box I could x out of so it went away on I.E. I usually work in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, but am creating two newsletter templates in Pages for a colleague, since it will be easier for her. But, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get rid of the main text box in the back of the page that is driving me crazy. I just want a nice blank page that I can do whatever I want with. AND, I can't figure out how to select things so that I can move them, like shapes and text boxes. Some things seem to move fine, then other things just sit there. I am at the end of my rope!!!

Hi, Dylan. Welcome to Discussions.
If you're referring to the area where you just start typing when you open a new blank document, you can't get rid of it. But you also don't have to use it. You can insert text boxes and size and position them as you desire. Just be sure they're defined as Fixed on Page. When one is full and you want to continue it to another page (or to the side), click in the blank blue box on the lower right side of the text box. That will create another box and your overflow text will flow into it. Then position it where needed.
Also, you can create a text box the width of the page and then set it for 2 or more columns.
When you want to send something to the back and you may want to access it again later, just use the send backward command. If you send it all the way to the back, it will be behind the main text layer (where it will be safe from acvcidental movement) but you will have to click outside the work area and then drag the pointer to the object to select it.

Hi PKG,
the "GiveFeedback" and "SendTo" links are called "FlexUI" commands. Most of that stuff is highly configurable and naturally you can remove them in the KM Configuration at
SystemAdmin->SystemConfig->KM->CM->UserInterface
-> ... -> ResourceRnderer
Your ResourceRenderer uses a CommandGroup. In this CommandGroup you can add/remove commands.
For example un your case its the CommandGroup "NewsDisplayGroup"

Hi Russel,
You can give public access to pages, applications etc. Users won't need to supply a username/password then, while you still can hide some of the pages to authorized people.
Check the access tab for pages and the manage tab for applications.

I need to get rid of the black border around the artboard. The two images show my drawing lined up with the art board and then inside the artboard. The dark gray is not the artboard.
As you see, the artboard has a black border. I need to get rid of it. It shows up in my project when my color key is green. The black won't go to transparent.

How to get rid of the "time out" when using DAQ AI in the example program

I try an example file called "AcqVoltageSamples_IntClkDigRef" (Visual C++ .NET). It works great. However, if the program has not recieved the data, it sent out a timeout message. How to get rid of the "time out"? I cannot find anywhere in the code. Is this a property I have to reset somewhere else?

Hello Yajai,
The example program will use the default value for timeout, 10 seconds. To change this, you will have to set the Stream.Timeout value. I inserted this function into the example and set it equal to -1, and the program will wait indefinitely for the trigger signal without timing out. Please see the attached image to how this was implemented.
