How to get the data converted in UTF-16 format downloading(local&appl)

Dear Freinds,
I have interface program when it is downloading on the desktop and application server some of the characters
are not getting displayed properly ( eg : employee name) . Which is not getting downloaded correctly . This as an UTF 16 or not how to trace if. If this is an UTF issue how we can tackle this issue.
Please could any body let me know , as iam not aware of solving UTF 16 isse.
The issue given to me as below.
for some personnel no.s their names are getting displayed as below
11450113 = Hänggi
11450117 = Hässig-Wehrli .
Could any one let me know how can i approach this issue.

Hi,
You should be able to run the following command in mounted mode on standby database.
select current_scn from v$database;
then run the following to convert it to timestamp.
select scn_to_timestamp(99999999) from dual; *<-- Replace here the SCN value you got above. This needs to be run on the primary database due to standby database in mount mode.*
Alternatively you can also check at the alert.log file to find the last scn which has been applied.

From Node A, get the values of the attributes as
lo_NodeA->GET_STATIC_ATTRIBUTES( IMPORTING STATIC_ATTRIBUTES = ls_attributesA ).
Similarily get all the node values from B, C, D and E.
Finally append all your ls records to the table.

can any one say me how to get the date of first day(date of Sunday) of a week for a given date in a BW transformations. For example for 02/23/2012 in source i need to get 02/19/2012(Sunday`s date) date in the result. I can get that start date of a week using BWSO_DATE_GET_FIRST_WEEKDAY function module. But this function module retrieves me the start date as weeks monday(02/20/2012) date. But i need sundays(02/19/2012) date as the start date. So it would be really great if anyone sends me the solution.

Hi,
The simplest way would be to subtract 1 from the date date which you are already getting in transformation routine, but instead of doing that subtraction manually which might need bit of errort, you can simply use another FM to subtract 1 from given date.

Use IW format - it will make solution NLS independent. And all you need is truncate 7<sup>th</sup> day of each month using IW:

I have two reports overview&Detail reports.When i execute overview report i am getting the data.in the same report i am integrated the detail report.when i am trying to open detail report in overview report i am not getting the data it shown the error No Data Available. But data is there in Detail report when i execute individually.

I have an overview report and a detailed Report Both of them are working fine individually. But when i link them using RSBBS the detailed report is not giving any data. it gives "no Data available". There is no assignment details maintained. it is having the default value. (generic and *)

Question: how to get the adobe plug in to play a downloaded flv file ?

I want to know how to get the flv adobe plug in which i downloaded as a result abc or nbc or cbs.com i forget exactly which said i had to and also it seems to be used for playing most all videos from web such as those from utube,hulu, etc. So my question is how do i get the plug in to play any downloaded *.flv video ? The particulars on the one i have is:
Output folder: C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
Execute: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\uninstall_plugin.exe"
Extract: NPSWF32.dll
Extract: NPSWF32_FlashUtil.exe
Extract: flashplayer.xpt
also perhaps FLVPlayer.swf of about 9Kb may have something to do with it?
And the latest update i have was about jan 13 when it seemed to automatically take over my system and update itself.x

Unfortuneately it has something also to do with the useless *.swf files which are apparently of no use to anything and could certainly be eliminated .
I have downloaded several freebie flv players such as bs player etc. etc. but they all have so many faults and are not suitable. Bs player does what i want but it hangs , have to go to system mgr. to get out of it sometimes , often difficult to use etc.etc. The main features is i need is to be able to make and play playlists to automatically in full screen one after the other in a specified order with NO user intervention and the ability to magnify or 'pan in' i guess they call it and change aspect ratios so that i can have full screen as if just cropping part of horizontal such as if want to view a 16/9 aspect ratio on a computer as i have with the prior standard 4/3 aspect and change a downloaded vertically stretched to a cropped instead etc.
Also it doesn't make sense to download others and take up disk space when already have the adobe - also adobe seems to be the only one that plays hulu flv's correctly - on other flv players the video and audio are way out of sync and not just by few seconds but often by a minute or more. I know there is another 'pain' way to do it which is create a *.avi or other extension with loss of clarity etc. which have done but would like to be able to just do it in real time while playing the flv file itself as for example
as bs player does.
Anyway if there is no way to get adobe to do this does anyone know of any other free flv player downloads which will do what
i want - basically playlists, magnify , pan,crop and still full screen, change aspect ratios - other than bs player ?

The plugin is what it is: a browser plugin - it cannot act as a standalone player.
To play local flv files you either need to
download/install the standalone player (Projector) from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

How to get the data from a cluster table to BW

Dear All,
I want to extract the data from R/3 to BW by using 2 tables and one Cluster B2.
Actually my report contains some fields from PA2001, PA2002 and one cluster table B2 (Table ZES). Can I create View by using these 3 tables? If it is not possible how can I get the data from the cluster? Can I create generic datasource by using cluster tables directly?
In SE11 Transaction the Cluster (table ZES) is showing invalid table.
I referred some Forums, but no use.
Can any body tell me procedure to get the data from a cluster (table ZES) ?
