How to get the other columns of a particular mininum value

I have a multiple rows per account in a table. I build a object minimum(col1) in the Business Object universe. I need to get the corresponding values of a min(col1) for each account. Problem is when i pull the min(col1) and other column, it always gives every combination of the min(col1) for each account. How do i get only the corresponding values.ExampleAcct Col1 col2 col3 1 34 3 41 45 5 62 3 7 8output should be1 45 5 62 3 7 8How i accomplish with data providers or free hand sql combinations Thanks

you can do this very quickly by creating a crosstab with the Acct as the Row, and Col1,2,3 as the Columns, and the Maximum of your field as the summary.

looks like you are on Infomation Builders, correct? If yes through which adapter and to what DB are you connecting?? in an R3/BW system you can do the folowing:

Another option is goto directly to the RDBMS; in this case let me which one are you using

How to get the dynamic columns in UWL portal

I am working on UWL Portal. I am new to UWL. I have down loaded uwl.standard XML file and costomized for getting the values for "select a Subview" dropdown and I am able to see the values in the dropdown. Now my requirement is to get the dynamic columns based on the selection from dropdown value.
can any body suggest on how to get the dynamic columns in UWL portal.

1) If you have already created a portal system as mentioned in following blog
/people/marcel.salein/blog/2007/03/14/how-to-create-a-portal-system-for-using-it-in-visual-composer
2) If not, then try to create the same. Do not forgot to give the Alias name .
3) After creating a system, log on to the VC, Create one iView.
4) Now Click on "Find Data" button from the list which you can view in right side to Visual composer screen.
5) After clicking on "Find Data" button, it will ask for System. If you have created your system correctly and Alias name is given properly, then your mentioned Alias name is appeared in that list.
6) Select your system Alias name and perform search.
7) It will display all the BAPIs and RFCs in your systems.
8) Select required BAPI and develop the VC application.
Please let me know if you any further problems.

How to get the OTHER value in a poplist

A poplist has 2 values. The one the user sees and the "real" value. I need to access both in my project. Is it possible to get the value of the "other" value, the one the user sees??

I think i replaced the right variables. I can't understand why there isn't a simple function to get this value, this code does the job.

Updated to 5.0 any ideas how to get the OTHER back

When I updated to 5.0 my OTHER SPACE used went to 7.2 gigs... any way to get that
space back.

DATA: i_reptx TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF textpool WITH HEADER LINE.
READ TEXTPOOL (reports) INTO i_reptx. " reports is the report name.

a new window will come
4. in index name, type Y01
5. a new window will come
6. there give the field name for serial number

Is your column using a structure? If yes, you can add a row(new selection) in this column and leave blank or something like ". " as the title of this row.Then in the definition of this row you make a "impossible selection" like the quantity of 0MATERIAL = '123456789' which does not actually exist in your system.

How to get invoice status column in ap_invoice_all table

how to get the invoice_status column like "NEEDS RE VALIDATION" in account payables tables.

The invoice approval status does not come from any table / lookup.
Instead, Oracle builds it by calling the ap_invoices_pkg.get_approval_status function.
You can also call it by passing invoice_id, payment_status_flag and invoice_type_lookup_code.
All these 4 columns are present on the ap_invoices_all record.

Can anyone please let me know how we can get the class name of a page or region in oracle apex? I would also like to know how we get the DOM object ID for particular item.

Like most of us, it's difficult to know where every method within a Java class is. Also, many of the same methods are scattered throughout Java Classes. I know of two methods that retreive this... getClass().getName(). But, you must have an object to use these. Is there a way to find out what Class contains a method or Class variable thru an Applet or Java Application?? Obviously, I can look at API Docs; but this takes time.
