How to get the required name name in the HTML output ?

While publishing the project, where can we give our custom name which has to be taken as the title in the HTML file?

Kartik. This is a known issue with some Captivate projects created from other projects or upgraded from an earlier version .
The workaround is:
Save your project as a different file name in a different folder.
Change the information in your Project Preferences > Project Information > Project Name settings and also in the Publishing dialog > Project Title field to appear as you want it.
Publish the project to a different folder than the original location.
Save as again, this time saving as the original filename. You can save back into the same location as the original file and overwrite it.
Now when you publish (if you are lucky) the information should be as you want it to appear and the title will reflect the information shown in Project Preferences > Project Information > Project Name
Try that and see if it works for you.

you can use Live office, or query as a webservice if you are getting data from universe
if you're getting data from SAP BI query and you have a java stack on your netweaver then you can get the data directly using sap bi connector in xcelsius.

How to get the HTML Source code from the active browser ?

I need to get the HTML Source code from the active browser (IE). I tried with the below code, but I am not able to get the Source code all the time, with respect to the different applications (http or https) and the user authentication has to be changes in few applications (_I dont know or not able to given that in the below code_). More over there is also a dependence of the URL to get the HTML Source code.
Therefore what I feel is getting the HTML Source code from the given or active browser will be consistent than the URL. Since the Source code is available in the browser (IE) . Please help me with a sample code to achieve this . . . !

The simple answer is: you don't.
Not only is it simply not possible, but the entire concept of "the active browser" doesn't exist.
You were on the right track with your code to retrieve the page directly from the server, but as you noticed that code will only work for regular http connections.
For https and other protocols you will need to use appropriate libraries for each protocol. Something like Apache Commons can help you with that. There are networking libraries in there for a lot of commonly used protocols.

I'm using a JEditorPane object in order to view/display an HTML page. The nature fo my program is that it does not know the size of the page in advance, but only on runtime. I'd like to get the size of the HTML page in order to determine the frame size according to the size of the HTML page.
Is there a way to get the size of the HTML page from the JEditorPane?

after displaying the page in your editor pane you can get the diamension for the page by calling
JComponent class method getSize();
actually your question is not so clear
use the JScroll pane then you don't need to worry about the size of the page.

I have a table which has data with html tags in it.
eg as shown below.
sample text is as follows:
 
MY TEST HERE HAS SOME BOLD TEXT IN IT. THIS WHOLE LINE SHOULD BE BOLD and the rest of the text will not be bold.
 
now I want to be able to display this text with the proper format using BI publisher / rt template.
my report shows the tags as is instead of being formatted.

How to get the job output to be displayed/send in a report?

Dear All,
IHAC that have a couple of jobs which they all work fine and return the desired value, and now the customer wants to take the output of the jobs and place it in one big report?
The jobs created are the daily health checks that the DBAs run. They would like to have all the output from all the jobs consolidated in one report to be sent to them every morning on their emails.
Kindly advise if this is doable.

There isn't really a way to redirect a job's output. Unless you try to dig it out of the repository. Trust me it will be a hell of a job to puzzle out the locations and SQL statements to get it.
You might consider trying to migrate your jobs into reports (if possible). Reports can be redirected to e-mail recipients.

How to get the console output generated by a executable program?

when I am trying to use method getOutputSteam of Process to gain the outputStream,I got nothing!
I have also tried to use stream redirect,also no result!

I've seen this kind of problem with an offending xxx.exe. Generally it means that the program isn't flushing its output immediately, so your java program never sees it.

How to get the query output depending on the current date

i created a region of type "query",inside it created region using wizard of type "table" . in the query i filter the data depending on the current date (taken from dual table) . but still it showing no output on the page. i run the same query in the toad and its showing the 2-3 rows.
