How to get this to work ?
Firs tof all I'm using Vista, sorry... Anyway, I hope there are someone which can help me with my problem...
I have an Asus WL-500W router where I've disabled the DHCP router and I want my ADSL Modem to work as the DHCP server.
I've then connected my Time Capsule to the Asus WL-500W with an Ethernet cable and connected my computer to the Asus WL-500W also with an Ethernet cable as I want to take advantage of the fastest transfer speed possible (in my case 100mbit).
The above setup does also work, and the Time Capsule shows as a Network Drive. But if I want to go Wireless between my computer and my Asus WL-500W, then I can't get access to my Time Capsule.
My computer has an IP of 10.0.0.4 and my Time Capsule has one of 10.0.0.7.
If I setup the Time Capsule to use Wireless to connect to my Asus WL-500W then I can see the Network Drive, but then I will only have 54mbit connection even if I plug in the Ethernet cables...
But I need help to setup my Time Capsule so it will work with Ethernet and Wireless so it will take advantage of the fastest speed possible...

Giving the error message might have saved some time... Also do you compile manually or from NetBeans?
First, you have a syntax error in the main file (an extra closing brace).
Once fixed, I had a puzzling error...
If I remove the package declarations, I get the following error:
Test.fx:18: thetank has script only (default) access in unnamed package
If I add public to thetank class, I can compile and run your code.
But if I add back the package declaration, I get the cannot find symbol (thetank) error.
I found why I had this error: I was compiling (manually) from the fishtank folder. After I compiled one level higher (+javafxc fishtank/thetank.fx+ then javafxc fishtank/Test.fx) I was successful.
I was puzzled because I most of my test code without package, it is easier to compile from my editor...
Since you don't tell which error you have, I don't know if I addressed your problem...

On the MBP, in iTunes, switch to Song view and enable the iCloud Status column by pulling down View > View options and selecting the option for "iCloud Status." Close the small window. Look for any tracks that have a status of "waiting." If you see several of them disable iTunes Match while holding down the Option key. Quit iTunes, wait a few seconds, then open it again and turn iTM back on. Let it compelete the scan. Wait until all tracks that are "waiting" have a status of either "matched" or "uploaded."
On the iPad, turn off iTunes Match then launch the Music app and let the contents clear out. Power cycle the iPad for good measure, then re-enable the service once all the tracks in iTunes have been processed. -

I have a 4s iPhone which I loaded the new Os on last night. Now I can not connect to iTunes. A message comes up saying i need 10.6.3 or later but I am running 10.6.1 as I have an older Mac. Anyone have ideas how to get this to work?
Its not telling you to update your iPad, its telling you you need to download a recent version itunes on your computer.

Note that it is a really bad idea to have parameter names that match table names. My assumption is that CRS_CODE is both a table and a parameter name in your original function. Otherwise, I'm not sure what your SELECT statement is attempting to do.

AS I said I don't ever recall someone reporting that they got it to work.
During early version of iChat it was found that the AIM server would accept a login on almost any port.
It became popular to suggest port 443 as this was a well known port known to be open on most routers "out-of-the-box" and likely to be open in campus situations where students may not have any control over what ports were open.
An AIM Login can also do "Direct IMs" for which is switches to port 5190 on the UDP Protocol.
At this point the chat is peer to peer.
It does this if you send a pic in the Chat or send a file.
It uses port 5190 for this no matter what is used for the Login.

I tried to configure 2 windows users accounts using a single library per the instructions in HT1203. My iTunes library is on an external drive. I cannot get this to work. Any suggestions?
To give other users read-only access to your iTunes library, use the Sharing features of iTunes. Sharing works over the local network as well as on the same computer. See the built-in help for details.

My iPod Classic is seen by Windows but not by iTunes. I have reset it, gone to disk mode and it won't show up in iTunes. There appears to be music on it in a file called MUSICSAVE. How can I get this to work with iTunes again?

5. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service and verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed.
6. If you just want to add some photos, songs and movies from computer to your devices, you can use an iTunes alternative to do the job
7. Check for third-party software conflicts.

It sounds like you restored from an old back-up. Did you back-up just before your software update? It will use your last one and if your last back-up was a ywear old then it will use that one.
In general, if you are getting these messages on your iPhones select logout (when you get that Apple Id request) and then log back in with your newer ID.

I am using Numbers on my iPhone5 and cannot get the app to do a simple (SUM) calculation. It shows the formula correctly in the cell, but all I get for my long list of numbers to add is 0. How can I get this to work?
Oaky, at least we got that far. Next step is to determine if all those "numbers" are really numbers. Changing the format to "number" doesn't necessarily change the string to a number. The string has to be in the form of a number. Some may appear to you and me as numbers but will not turn into "numbers" when you change the formatting from Text to Number. Unless you've manually formatted the cells to be right justified, one way to tell if it is text or a number is the justification. Text will be justified to the left, numbers will be justified to the right.
Here are some that will remain as strings:

Thanks Apple for introducing this nice little feature into iCal but then completely neglecting to write any sort of useful manual that can explain what to do when it doesn't work after you set it up for the first time.
At long, long last we have finally got there after about 6 months of fiddling on and off, so I thought I had better post up the process since many have similar issues and it is hard to ascertain what is going on.
Using an external email server was just a waste of time and it still wouldn't handle the replies properly even though it was supposed to handle '+addressing'. In the end I set up a special gmail account for the iCal server and finally got it working. I list here the process of configuring and testing the system to check that each little stage is working.
Set up a Gmail account in Apple Mail to access and test in the usual way for any email account (e.g. [email protected].);
Set the iCal server email to access the same email using the following settings:
IMAP
SMTP
[email protected]
smtp.gmail.com
Port: 993 [x] Use SSL
Port: 587 [x] Use SSL
User & Pwd
Login
User & Pwd
To test the settings:
send out a test email from Apple Mail to a non-server email address that you can access to check it has been received;
send out a test email from your non-server email account to [email protected] and check that it is received;
this tells you that the GMail account is setup correctly and working
Testing iCal:
I noted that iCal was deleting any emails that arrive in the inBox in Apple Mail as soon as they arrived (this is to be expected);
test that the invites are being sent from iCal by setting an event in iCal and inviting your non-server address (you may not see any sign of this in Apple Mail but you should catch it in the iCal server log and possibly in the Gmail sent mail box);
check that the invite is received at your non-server account and Accept it in iCal on another machine - the reply is automatically sent back;
the replies appear in Apple Mail but are quickly deleted by iCal. But their record for you to see is left in Gmail under 'All Mail';
Accepted invites appear as a notification button on the top left hand bar on iCal where you click to acknowledge them and then the attendee is shown as a green circled tick instead of a grey circled ?.
this shows that iCal invitations are working correctly. Whenever an event is updated, all invitees should be updated by email automatically.
I hope this helps anyone - I could certainly have done with something similar when I started with looking at this.
