How to get to "Default" toolbar in 9i Forms

When I create a simple form using the latest release, I get a nice toolbar generated. I would like to find out where this comes from so I can put it into a template for Designer generated forms.
There is nothing in the form itself, it's is 1 block, 2 fields, nothing else. Not being a forms guru I have been looking for days for this thing.
Any help is much appreciated.

It's just a magic value for the property of "DEFAULT&SMARTBAR" the runtime does not use a real menu to render this it just knows how to do it without a separate menu.

Hi ,you camn always make your Z report category...if the field is present in further selection tab..
if not you can create your own paramerter or select option.....
but you have to handle it in your code ....as get pernr wont filter on its basis(parameter select optyin created by you)
but why loop at screen is not working?
let me know how you are doing...

I have a question for how to get the default selection color from JTable. I am currently implementing the customized table cell renderer, but I do want to set the selection color in the table exactly the same of default table cell renderer. The JTable.getSelectionBackgroup() did not works for me, it returned dark blue which made the text in the table unreadable. Anyone know how to get the window's default selection color?

The windows default selection color is dark blue. Try selecting any text on this page. The difference is that the text gets changed to a white font so you can actually see the text.
If you don't like the default colors that Java uses then use the UIManager to change the defaults. The following program shows all the properties controlled by the UIManager:

Any of the properties can be changed for the entire application by using:
UIManager.put( "propertyName", value );

I do not think that you can get this value from anywhere. A solution is to put the Reports server name in an environment variable stored in the /forms/server/default.env file, then to query it at Forms runtime with the TOOL_ENV.Getvar() built-in.

You have to check the system variable &NEXTPAGE&, if it's 0 it means you're in the last page.
From SAP Help:
This symbol is used to print the number of the following page. The output format is the same as with &PAGE& .
Note that on the last page of the output, in each window that is not of type MAIN, &NEXTPAGE& has the value 0.

i've built a report by wizard with a sql-Query
the sql give me back for example 3 dataset
and the report prints 3 pages
dataset 1 - page 1
dataset 2 - page 1
dataset 3 - page 1
thats ok,
but now I need a second page per dataset ( with only a text )
so that the report should print 2 pages per dataset
dataset 1 - page 1 ,page 2
dataset 2 - page 1 ,page 2
dataset 3 - page 1 ,page 2
It's not really clear for me, what to do, to create the second page
any help ?

I recently upgraded windows 8 to Windows 8.1, but it reset my custom lock screen image . I tried for default lock screen of windows 8.1.I can't find any default lock screen
images of windows 8.1 (Only custom images are available). How to get default lock screen images? Does any any one know? please help me..

I have exactly the same issue with the horrid stripey thing. Furthermore, in Settings, Lock Screen Preview is completely blank both on current and past images.
I've tried all the tips I've found around the web with no success. I get the horrid stripey thing back.
I found this freeware called Lock Screen Customizer. Seems to work so far but time will tell. (Note that the download includes both win8 and win8.1 versions.)

Hi everybody! I am running a local ubuntu server at my office. I can set some defaults preferences (about:config) for all new users in the system by defining those prefs in the /etc/firefox/syspref.js.
Now, I want to define default toolbar layout in a similar way (maybe not needed but fun), to copy the toolbar layout for my user. Is there a general way to do that?

You can try to create a default template folder (defaults/profile) in the Firefox and place the file(s) in that folder for newly created profile.
The only way to customize an existing profile is to copy files directly to it.

Could anyone help me, to get some examples or more information, that how can I get information from ODBC sources to Forms Builder environment. I have a need to read data for example to LOV.

If you are on Forms 6i you install the Oracle Client Adaptor from the Forms CD. You then have a way of connecting to ODBC datasources.
To connect to ODBC at the same time as you are connected to Oracle you can use the EXEC_SQL package to create a second connection via odbc and issue select statements against that datasource.

Okay. The following procedure will restore your bookmarks to their default state.
(1) Quit Safari if you have it open
(2) Go Start > Open.
(3) In the Organize menu, click Folder and Search Options.

(5) Make sure that Show hidden files and folders is selected.

(7) Go Start > Computer.
(8) In Computer open Local Disk C:
(9) Open the Users folder.
(10) Open the folder with the name of the Vista user account in which you want to have default bookmarks showing for your Safari.
(11) Open the AppData folder.
(12) Open the Roaming folder.
(13) Open the Apple Computer folder.
(14) Open the Safari folder.
(15) Drag the Bookmarks plist file out onto your desktop.
Now launch Safari. That should rebuild the Bookmarks plist file, and you'll be seeing the default bookmarks and Bookmarks bar settings.

In my VC application i have two date fields. we are allowing the end user to select the From Data and Todate though Data pickers, But the client asking to make the today's date as default date in Todate field , rather picking up from the data picker,
Unless the user wants change the todate from the current date. It should display today's date as default date.

By refering the following link, i have implemented Export To Excell functionality in VC.

But the RFC object which i added to the story board, i havent find any 'info' port in my added RFC. But still i have added the data store object and added field. then

In my application i am trying to export an application. On click of an button i m calling a javaScript method and in that method i am using the code as
win.window.document.execCommand('SaveAs',false,'.fileExt');
where win is the user defined window object.
As this function is called i am getting a deault save dialouge box opened. Now i want to track whether i clicked on save or cancel button on the dialoug and accoring to that i need to perform some functionality apart from default functionality. So how could i track which button (as these are default to window.document.executeCommand()) is clicked and how could i collect these values to perform the desired functionality according to my application.

I have the following code which is working fine except I can't get the user typed data from flash form to my default e-mail (MS Outlook) application. How to edit the following code?

1) To ----> this field is okay since this email ID doesn't change
2) Cc ----> this filed is also okay since no changes will be in email ID
3) Subject ----> this may not be always as "Feedback", user may like to change the subject
