Hi Anup,
Userids are stored in Infotype PA0105 ( table ) and field USRID.
PERNR is the Employee Number.
To know the Employee name check Infotype PA0002 ( table ) and fields
NACHN     Last Name
NACH2     Second Name
VORNA     First Name
CNAME     Complete Name

Problems in getting userid from Appscontext object

Hi,
Just a novice on OA ..Need a way to get userid .Currently i initiate an appsContext object using a DBC filepath. and then call getUserID() on the initialized object but I get it as -1 .
WebAppsContext app = new WebAppsContext("dbc file name along with the path");
app.getUserID(); // Gets me -1
As a cross check on the appsContext object app I acquired a jdbc connection from the appscontext object and fired a dummy query , which did worked implying the object app has been initialized.
Hopin for a quick resolution or an alternate way of doin this,.

sorry i hadnt made my reqmt clear ...
the thing is i m hitting a servlet from OA. And in this servlet i need to fetch userid so that i can query on fnd_users for getting the logged in user description , letz say i get user desc as abc ..so as to display welcome abc on top of the my custom page.
as itz a normal servlet ..i dont have pagecontext object ..just the usual servlet stuff like httpRequest . So how to get userid / user desc in this case...
any alternate way .. does an OA exception trace has userid info that can be extracted....
just a quest ..does AppsContext.getUserID() return -1 if itz initialized thru DBC filepath ?

How to get userId and ResponsibilityId of EBS Application

We are using oracle.apps.fnd package to get the userId and ResponsibilityId of EBS Application. By using this api we are getting -1 for both userId and resposibilityId, but want the corrrect values for these two Ids.
Can anyone please tell us how to get userId and ResponsibilityId of EBS Application using oracle.apps.fnd package?

Thanks for your answer. I tried using pageContext, but it didn't work.
I forgot to mention the version of EBS Application. We are using 12i.
To use FND_GLOBAL package first we should initialise by passing userId and respId which we want. Can we get these details from this api oracle.apps.fnd of 12i Instance.

I have a JSX script in "My Documents\Adobe Scripts" to make it trusted script. I have another text file I need to read from JSX. Since the location depends on logged in user, I need to find the windows username. If anyone know how to get the windows username from jsx please reply.

You can get username like this:
var myUsername = $.getenv('username');
You could also get My Documents folder like this:
var myDocFolder = Folder.myDocuments;

Ok I got your requirement now.
If you are getting file names from view attribute then you should not be adding destination URI property for the link.
Instead you can use OADataBoundValueViewObject API.
Try below code in your controller processRequest method:
I am assuming that you are using classic table.
Also in below example it considers OAMessageStyleText and you can replace it with link item if you want.

(OATableBean)webBean.findChildRecursive("<table item id>");

How to get it from PDF is another matter...
I'm working on an app that downloads PDFs with a Large amount of data as a blob, takes that blob and changes it to XML, then goes through the xml to validate each section of data and then add it into the schema that my apex app is referencing....
I didn't write the original code but I do know that it isn't a quick thing to implement and includes using some uploading some java jar files to your schema and writing some custom java code.
Someone else may be able to help with grabbing PDF data into the URL for the amounts of data you want to pass to apex.

Looking at the DI API properties vs. DB fields mapping documentation in the SAP Business One developer area (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/c5f5dbcc-0a01-0010-5d82-f25f2bee715e)
it seems that this field is not exposed (yet).
I.e. you could only run a SQL statement to get this information.
