I have had problems getting artowrk on my nano from my computer but it was only because I didnt have USB 2.0 outlets on my computer. I used a different computer that had USB 2.0 and it worked fine. Just click the little button under your sources in iTunes that says "Show or hide song artwork and video viewer" so it opens and then drag the picture you want into that and it will go on your iPod nano artwork. Remember to have the artwork for your nano enabled though. To get it enabled just click the little icon on the bottom right of iTunes that looks like a iPod nano and click the music tab and then make sure the "Enable artowkr for your iPod nano" box is checked. I'll start by saying that my iPod Nano would not display ANY album art at all, even though it did in iTunes. I just added 180 albums to my iPod, and they all showed up, perfectly. Here's how I did it:
1) Move all the songs you want on your iPod into the iTunes music library. (Open iTunes, and drag the files over the "LIBRARY" catagory)
2) Click Music, under the LIBRARY heading.
3) Add the artwork to each song/album. I used "iTunes Art Importer". It's a great program, and is really easy to use/download.
4) Connect your iPod to your computer.
5) Remove any songs you have on the iPod.
6) Go to the Music tab, in the iPod control panel.
7) Sync all music files/playlists from your iTunes library.
If you did this correctly, all the album art you added in your iTunes library should display on your iPod. Be sure to have "Display Album Art on this iPod" checked off.

How to get my photos from my Ipod nano 2gb (colourscreen) to my TV

I've got an iPod(2Gb) with colour display. And I've got the AV connection Kit. The music is no problem, but I just can't seem to find a way to show my photo's on the tv.
I read somewhere on this forum that I should click on "TV on" in the slideshow menu. But there is NO "TV On" in this feature. Under "transitions" there is nothing! I read that there sould be the TV On option!???
CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!
At the Apple store they said that it should be possible to connect the iPod nano 2Gb to the TV!

Unfortunately for you, the iPod nano does not support TV output through either the headphone port or through a dock. The only iPods that facilitate TV output are the iPod with color display and the iPod with video (5th generation)

I have not had a computer for several years and I just got a new one. My old computer got a virus and when that happened all my music was lost. Thank goodness I had it all on my Ipod Nano 2nd GEN. Every time I connect my IPod all that happens is that it tells me if I sync the IPod that it will replace all the music from my ITunes library on to my IPod. They don't have the music on their computer so they cannot transfer the iTunes folder, from the computer to their iPod and then to the new computer. And if they try to enable disk use on the iPod it will erase all the music that is on it. The method you cited is moving the files in a data format using the iPod as a flash drive. It doesn't work if they are in music format. That is why I suggested Yamipod.

Unless you can update it to iOS5, you can't. Connect it to iTunes and find out if it can be updated.

Connect your iPhone to your computer. Tp your pc should recognize your iPhone as a camera. Use what ever application you have on the pc to transfer files from a camera to your computer.

Very likely since yu really have a 2G iPod. Those only go to 4.2.1. If your is an 8 or 16 GB one it is a 2G since Apple only made 32 and 64 GB 3G iPods. A 32 GB one can be either. See:

Almost all of my music is located on the iPod and only the songs I have purchased through iTunes Store are showing up on my iTunes account. There is no supported way to transfer library content synced to an iDevice to another iDevice. You also cannot sync library content from an iDevice to a different iTunes library. Content transfer is from the itunes library on the computer to the iDevice.
The one exception is purchased content (from the iTunes store), which can be transferred to the computer by selecting the "Transfer Purchases" menu option with hte device connected to the computer.
The only resolution I could offer, is that you "Could" (assuming you still have the original computer with the content) transfer the music via homesharing or another method listed in the following KB article:
