I believe you are wanting to just provide a link to another newsgroup? If so, you can just copy and paste the address into your response. Also, you can use HTML code to make it look nicer. For example, I can use the following address:
http://exchange.ni.com/servlet/ProcessRequest?RHIVEID=101&RPAGEID=135&HOID=5065000000080000008F550000&UCATEGORY_0=_49_%24_6_&UCATEGORY_S=0
Or, you can use simple HTML code within your posting. The format in this case is display text .
So, for example, I could also have a link LIKE THIS which will take you to a page also. Refer to This Page for more of the simple HTML commands you can use.

I think you overlooked some of the possibilities provided by Apex.
For instance you can create a simple HTML region where you put the links as you prefer (makes sense if they are a fixed number and you need a special formatting).
You can also create Lists (see shared components). Lists are specifically meant for links, like Task lists in the Apex Builder itself, but you cannot build them dynamically, so you must know in advance each and every static link.
Or you can create a report if links come as result of a query which is good for building them dynamically.
A fourth option is a PL/SQL region outputting HTP calls where you have total control over every aspect.

How to add a link like "Export" to schedule the report in dashboard

when i add a report into dashboard, i can "analyze","edit" or "export" it using report links.
but now if i browse my dashboard, i find a report which i am interested in, and i want to schedule it directly in dashboard.
i suppose it will be a botton or a link like "analyze" or "export".
but i can not get the report's path directly, wich i want to use it in the catalogobject parameter of writeibot() web service.
can anyone help me?

yes, i need the report path when i open the dashboard.
it's better to display the report path with the report.
so i can format catalogobject parameter ,
and then use writeibot() web service to schedule the report manually.

How to Migrate content from a thrid party content management system to WC

How can we migrate full content from a third party CMS to Oracle Webcenter Content system? Do we have a automated batch file import or any APIs which can accept XML data about the content files and upload to the content items to Webcenter Content.? The main idea is migrate from a old CMS to a new Webcenter Content.

- You can use "Desktop Integration Suite" that allows you to copy from your Windows Explorer to UCM like any other shared folder.
- You can use BatchLoader, that will follow a script that creates this massive import to UCM
- You can create a Java small client that via RIDC can insert all contents.

How to give a checkbox the value "row number" (like [row selector])

I like to define a checkbox with htmldb_item.checkbox and give the checkbox the value 'row number'.
It has to be the row number as displayed. Therefore I cannot use rownum or row_number() because the htmldb sorting functionality change the sequence after the row numbers are given.
How can I give the checkbox this value, or as alternative how can I get the current row (checkbox element) in javascript from the checkbox onclick event.

This works.
I use this number also to construct javascript and I walk in problems which are also solved now.
therefore for anyone else who also want to use '#ROWNUM#'. keep in mind that for the sql #ROWNUM# is just a string and should be treated as a string therefore use quotes around it. The #ROWNUM# string is translated after executing the query, when the page is constructed from the result of the query.

When i click a link on (facebook, google, yahoo, etc) it sends me back to my home page. It has done this at least 5 times only starting yesterday the 29th, one of numerous issues arrisen since the newest 4.0 security update.

This issues persists mainly on my two most frequently visited sites, Facebook, and deviant art. When I click any random link on any random page, the link would send me back to my home page, as if i had clicked the back button when i hadnt. I cant specify what links specifically, but it has done it twice on my facebook home page, once on a google search and several times on Deviant Art. On Deviant Art, I was several pages into the site when i clicked on a users gallery and it sent me right back to google, the back button wasnt active, but the forward button was, when i clicked the FORWARD button it went right back to my last page, just as if i has hit BACK. This problem has only been apparent for the last 2 days since the 29th, and only after i installed the last security update provided by the firefox team. seems like a bad coding error that mixes up and redirects addresses, that would be my guess.

Its frustrating. I also have this problem with Dropbox, a great service but they dont have a 'delete cache' button. Dropbox told me to log out and back in again but nothing. If i delete the Dropbox app (And Facebook app and Twitter) and then re-install its back to its original size
If you go into settings/general/usage and see all the apps, press the app for Twitter (Or Facebook) and you'll see how much extra the app is keeping under 'Documents & Data'
Delete those apps and re-install and the documents and data will be 0 and the app back to normal.
Its frustrating as some of these apps can get huge, after viewing a video my facebook app went up to 450 meg ! Same for twitter. I tend to use 'Twiterrific' as the app size doesnt get silly unlike the official Twitter app

How to give link to concrent/request seeded page with breadcrumb from apex

Hi,
I have given link to Concurrent request seeded page From apex for view the details of conc/req when it is submitted from Apex button. The conc/req page is opening. But I need breadcrumb to be given into the conc/req details page to go back to my Apex page. I dont know how to give this link.
I tried with OAWebBeanConstantes=ADD_BREADCRUMB_YES and also I tried with addBreadcrumb=Y with the URL of apps conc/req details page(MONITOR Page).
Please someone help me ,How can I give breadcrumb to the apps page to move back to Apex once details are seen.

Hi All,
Please someone tell me how to resolve this...?? I have already tried with the breadcrumb as I mentioned above. But from OAF to concurrent request details (Requests) page breadcrumb feature is supporting. From Apex to that page why it is not supporting. Is there any other way to do this.?

Rebates are driven by condition technique. You would be using the Rebate condition types (BO01 - BO06 range). Check the access sequence being used, with V/07. Assume, you are using BO01. Now, in V/07, in the 'Fields' tab, in the 'Doc. Field', the source for getting the customer number is set as Payer (KNRZE).
Change it to Ship-to party ( KUNWE),from the field catalog below.
It is recommended that you create your custom access-sequence, copying with ref to BO01 (or whatever access sequence you want) and make a change as discussed above.
