Hi Sunil,
We do a similar kind of Tracking on Month-to-month basis, actually the repost is given by the Security person, which is for all the users, and then as per the User Group for all the plants we can check as which T-Code is used by which person How many no of times, by converting the same report in the Pivit Table and Chart, the IT department take the Decission as from which all user , which T-Codes needs to be removed, and if the New T-Code is assigned then the requirement comes from Business.
I guess a Similar Report can be used by you also to check out as of which all users are using which T-Codes and that can serve your Purpose and check out for the Descipline in the users, but how can you judge on the day-to-day basis, I guess it will be helpfull if you can take a longet Period of time like monthly or atleaset Weekly.

How to select all the colomns_names from a table, with their datatypes ..

hi :)
i would like to know, how to select in SQL all the columns names from a table with their datatypes so that i get something like this :
Table 1 : table_name
the column ID has the Datatype NUMBER
the column name has the Datatype Varchar2
Table 2 : table_name
the column check has the Datatype NUMBER
the column air has the Datatype Varchar2
and that has to be for all the tables that i own ! ..
P. S : i m trying to do this with java, so it s would be enough if you just tell me how to select all the tables_names with all their colums_names and with all their datatypes ! ..

Hi,
The data dictionary view USER_TAB_COLUMNS has one row for every column in every table in your schema. The columns TABLE_NAME, COLUMN_NAME and DATA_TYPE have all the information you need.
Another data dictionary view, USER_TABLES, may be useful, too. It has one row pre table.

I have just returned from Afghanistan to find, (among the huge pile of mail) no less than 5 letters from BT trying to get me to sign up to their upto 20Mbps broadband. I have also recieved 3 voice calls in as many days, telling me that I can have upto 20Mbps. How can they say this when they know full well (as they have not done any work to my exchange), that even if I lived at the exchange, due to the lack of 21cn upgrade, the most will be 8Mbps. False advertising straight away. Also, with 4 miles of copper between me and there, 1Mbps is all but unreachable, yet they still say that my line will give me 2.5Mbps. More lies. I know that they lie to get you into a contract, but how do I stop them constantly sending out letters and phoning me. I have asked them to stop, but they say that as I don't have an account with them, they have nothing to link the note to, so if I want them to stop, I have to have an account. I have no intention of ever returning to BT as they have left us in the dark ages and will do for the foreseeable future. Is taking them to court for harassment the only way to stop them contacting me all the time or is there another way. If the only way is to take them to court, I will make sure that it gets maximum press coverage so that anybody else who has suffered at the hands of this poor excuse for a telecoms provider can also take action.

I'm new to swing and don't now it very well. I'm trying to put in a JMenu the cut, copy, paste options, but using key accelerators instead of key bindings. i'll be glad to receive your opinions about the pros and cons of using key bindings or accelerators, and how can i write a action performed method that makes the same as cut, or copy or paste
menu.add(getActionByName(DefaultEditorKit.pasteAction));

Unfortunately, when you create a menu item from an action the accelerator doesn't get set automatically, so you need to do something like:
JMenuItem paste = new JMenuItem( getActionByName.... );
paste.setAccelerator(....);
menu.add( paste );
In many cases you would want to have a paste action as a menu item and as a toolbar button. Check out the following thread to see how I use the same action on a menu and toolbar:

How do I get my merged clips to reconnect with their audio?

I am on FCP 7 syncing audio and video with ProRes 4444 @ 23.98. I am merging clips into bins labeled according to their scene. Pretty straight forward.
We then decided to go to ProRes 422 proxy to edit on a smaller faster drive at a lower cost. I transcoded the footage to 422 proxy with MPEG Streamclip same frame rate, same dimensions 1920x1080.
Next I go to relink the footage. Audio relinks and gives me this message: (Keep in mind these are copy and pasted files on the new hard drive).
"Some attributes of one or more of the files you have chosen do not match the attributes of the original.... The attributes that differed are as follows:
- Media start and end
Would you like to try to reconnect them again?"
Video relinks and gives me the same message, but adds "reel" as another attribute.
I've seen these messages before and nothing has come of it so I didn't think anything of it at first. Checking all the individual audio and video clips. Everything is playing fine.
THEN I go to play my merged clips... no audio!? Double click a merged clip in the browser, clip plays in the viewer but NO AUDIO. Right click on the merged clip file, select Item Properties and format. It is recognizing the correct audio clip that should be playing in the info there. I drag the clip into the timeline and I can see the shadow of the audio and video clip but when I let go in the timeline only the video appears.
How can this be?? What am I missing??
I would be so grateful for any ideas you might have!

I have limited experience with Synchronization, but I agree with you - if you need to synchronize Passwords, you need to have the Password in clear Text.
If you trying to build your own Synchronization Solution using any of the avaliable LDAP APIs, I don't think you can ever retrieve a user's Password in clear text.

This is compounded actually by a Gmail issue. I have had this email address for ages, since the start of the beta. But lately in the last year or so, I am getting mail that seems to be intended for other people but it is using my email address. It is probably one of them who created the Apple ID.
