How to go back one version?

I don't want to use version 23. How can I revert to 22? Windows Vista
And why isn't there a FAQ for this? I tried various questions and got nothing useful.

That is close to what I asked, but it did not show up in my several questions. The page is 95% "don't do it" and is oriented towards installing an older version, not reverting a simple upgrade. I will look at it later to see if it looks reasonable (I suspect it requires handstands if not carwheels...). So thanks anyway for a plausible lead.
"Since I answered your question, will you answer the questions about why you feel it's necessary to downgrade? "
I am not aware of any quid pro quo, and I have separately submitted feedback about some of the lousy new features in 23. Forcing users to go to About Config is a really awful way to separate the idiots who need a babysitter from users who take responsibility for their browsing needs.
re Mr "downer" -- "old versions of Firefox leaves you at horrible security risks" If 22 was so horrible, shame on whoever released it in the first place. I mean really!
re WFF: "We could easily fix it" I have to call b*llsh*t. Last time I reported a new bug was 2008 or 2009 when I first started using Firefox. It got reported by others in bugzilla under various threads for YEARS before something happened at the user end despite followups and plenty of what looked like developer chit chat. So "you" have zero credibility. Read your feedback, please. I can't seem to find my submission under dozens or more new feedbacks and my History doesn't seem to have a unique entry for my feedback form/page. I had to submit new feedback just to find the "feedback dashboard" just now despite trying a couple of searches (without recalling 'dashboard' or 'input' terms being involved).
In this case "you" have chosen to dumb down 23. It's annoying.

  • How do I have one version only for RAW+JPEG

    I am shooting and importing RAW+JPEG, but get a separate version for each file - same as you would see in iPhoto. But in aperture I want just one version (and with the master JPEG hidden away, but available if wanted.)
    How can I achieve this?

    Hello! Actually after I'm importing my nef+jpg files I do see the raw file in the browser. I can get the jpg picture by command, which will be placed automatically in a stock, the raw picture as the pick. So far everything is working.
    But I would prefer to get my jpg picture in the browser, and would have to command me the raw file instead, to work on it ONLY when I see on the jpg file that's worth doing it.
    Aside from that I would like that the jpg picture would be automatically chosen as the pick in the stock. Is there any way that this two behaviors can be changed?

  • IPod Touch: How to go back to version 2.2.1 if I don't like 3.0

    Just wondering if it is possible to go back to version 2.2.1 if I upgrade to 3.0 and don't like it.
    I have the full copy of everything on my MacBook - but of course everytime I connect via USP it updates and makes everything the same so if I update to version 3.0 now, then an hour later sync to the Mac - then the version 2.2.1 is gone.
    In fact, I am not sure I'd know how to do this -- my iPod is in the automatic sync mode now- would I have to go to manual sync? Any comments or web site links to assist me here appreciated.
    Thanks.

    If you have iPod1,12.2.1_5H11Restore.ipsw than I presume that you have the iPod Touch 1 Generation.
    To downgrade iPod touch from firmware 3.0 to 2.2.1 you have to place your ipod in DFU mode
    To enter DFU mode turn your iPod off make sure that it is connected to your Mac or Pc and iTunes is on.
    After you turn off completely your iPod press and hold for 10 seconds the home and sleep/wake button, after 10 seconds release the sleep/wake button while holding the home button pressed for another 10 sec.
    On your Mac or Pc on iTunes you will see this message if you entered successfully in DFU mode: “iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used whit iTunes.” once in DFU mode your iPod screen should be black. Press ok then Shift Restore (Pc) or Alt Restore (Mac) browse for the file: iPod1,12.2.1_5H11Restore.ipsw if you have the iPod Touch 1 Generation if you have the iPod Touch 2 Generation you will need the iPod 12.2.1_5H11aRestore.ipsw
    If you have problems entering DFU mode check this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb_ss0bljHY

  • How to go back to version 1.2 after upgrade

    Hi, Could someone tell me if it is possible to go back to version 1.2 from 1.3! Where can I get the 1.2 install package ? If so what is the process. Uninstall completely then re-install and restore the catalog. Would a catalog from version 1.3 be able to be restored back to 1.2
    Thanks for any info in advance.

    Hi Jay, Thats what I did. However I just deleted the 1.3 directory afterwards. Don't know if I should have used the 1.3 uninstall afterwards. I also don't know what would happen if you keep the Catalog etc in the original location. I had the Catalog file and associated folders on the same drive as my photographs to make in simpler to backup the lot.

  • How to go back old version final cut pro?

    Hi
    I recently upgraded my Final cut to new upgrade. My old one was FCP 6. Now it doesn't open and asking me put serial number. My FCP is not eligible for upgrade. ALso it said wrong serial number and doesn't open. How can I go back to old version I had? I have project i m working on I don't know what to do please. I need to go back to FCP 6.
    Thank you

    Any chance your old FCP is Academic? If so, you cannot upgrade that.
    To go back, you need to uninstall FCS (use the FCS uninstaller, do a search in the forum). then reinstall the previous version.

  • How do I select one version from multiple stacks and export?

    I have a color copy and B&W copy of 800 images. I want to export the B&W versions only. How do I select just the B&W versions in the stack at one time without having to click on 800 images?

    If you check the filenames, you'll see that the versions have a version name tagged on the end, like "Version 2" when I did a quick monochrome mix of one of my own. Make a smart album with the search term set for text being "Version 2" and you should end up with all the b&w versions. That is, assuming you made them all in the same way and they're all Version 2 versions. Since the initial version would not have the term "Version" attached, you could make the search term "Version" and it would fill with all the 2nd and 3rd et al. versions.
    Just a thought. Give it a try.

  • How to go back one page to an open application (from Safari)?

    For example, if I have one of my applications open and I follow the link to open the products page, it launches Safari accordingly. However, when I have finished looking at that page, how do I close down Safari and go back to the last screen I was looking at in the application I had open?
    Can I do this without having to press the home button taking me back to the Home screen, re-opening the app I was using and finding the bit I was looking at before?

    no, that is the only way to do it.

  • I need to go back one version to CC 2014 - the one before the October release

    ... and it looks like Adobe took it off the Previous Versions in the Cloud installer.   I've done months worth of work in CC 2014 on ongoing projects, and I can't go back to the CC version using the Cloud installer.
    Adobe, please put the previous installer back on the Cloud PRONTO.
    I was able to retrograde the day that the new release came out (After discovering that it wouldn't work with my RED footage), but now it's gone!  All that's available is 6.0 and 7.0.
    I'm not totally dead, because like an experienced person, I cloned my drive before upgrading.  But, it's going to require more hoop jumping and take longer than is really necessary, if only Adobe would make ALL versions accessible to us.

    Hi Jim,
    I see 8.0 in the list of previous versions. You don't?
    Let us know if you need help.
    Thanks,

  • How to go back one url, action?

    In Golive this was easy, you just created a "go last page" action.
    I have tried for some time now to figure the method in dreamweaver cs4 with no luck, as well I also tried cutting and pasting the code from GO-Live into dreamweaver.
    any direction will be appreciated.
    Thx
    Brad

    Hey Brad. Here is a easy way of what you are trying to do with css and cleans up all the heavy html that only slows things down. Any time you can use css to you advantage then use it and any time you don't need all the html mock up then clean it. Let me walk you through what I did for you...very easy.
    First this is the code you started with:
    <a><a onclick="history.back();return false;"href="/pages/previous.html"><imgsrc="../../../images/beds/tables_spa/diego.gif" class="elitephoto"/></a>
    Replace it with this:
    <a onclick="history.back();return false;" href="/pages/previous.html" class="elitephoto"></a>
    As you can see it is already almost half the html as the original, but it holds all the code you will need as the rest of the magic happens in the css. You already had a class attached to the <a> of "elitephoto" so we will use this in our css to target this <a> tag.
    Here is the css you simply add to your css:
    a.elitephoto{
        display:block;
        width:50px; /*adjust to the size of your image*/
        height:50px;
        background: url(path to image.png) no-repeat center center; /*adjust the position of the image as needed*/
    a:hover.elitephoto{
        background: url(path to swap out image.png) no-repeat center center ; /* this will be the image you are swaping out the original with*/
    The first rule of a.elitephoto makes the <a> tag a block level element, defines the size and then calls for the background image. You simply took the image src out if the html (which you should do when ever possible) and calling it from the css.
    The next rule of a:hover.elitephoto simply calls for the swap over image and will swap out on mouse over.
    Simple...fast and much more efficient then all the embedded html !
    One last note... you could use a single image for both the original and the swap out image. You simply change the position of the image in the positioning of the same image in the css to expose the portion that you want. This is the desired technique as for your css will make a single call for a image and already have it cached and ready to swap out (or in the case...slide into position)   when a user hovers over the original image. Might sound a little tricky, but really simple to do. Try the above way first then fine tune later when you get a hang of it.

  • HT4972 how to turn back the version of iphone 4s 5.0.1 from 5.1.1?

    I'm doing Upgraded the version recently, from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1
    but now my iphone 4s encounter some problem, (on and off signal) pls help.

    Apple does not support downgrading of iOS.  Try a simple reset by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button and the home button for 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears, ignore the red slider.  Then turn back on. You won't lose any data doing the reset.

  • How to play back one channel of the stereo track in both headphone cans?

    I recorded two microphones in one stereo track. Is there some way I could listen to the left channel and then to the right channel in both cans in my headphones, like a mono track? Panning moves all sound to the left can or the right one in my headphones. But I'd like to listed Left channel as mono channel in both headphone cans, and then press some button and listen to the right channel in both cans. How can I do it?

    No problem. By the way, there is a wrinkle in Logic that you may not be aware of.
    When dealing with a stereo track, the knob in the channel strip that you may think of as a Pan knob is not. It's a Balance knob. What is does is to change the level of what's in either left or right channel but does NOT move the left signal to the right or vice versa.
    To prove this:
    * Create a project with two mono audio tracks
    * Put different files on each track
    * Pan one hard left, the other hard right
    * Bounce the result
    * Create a new project with a stereo audio track
    * Import the audio that you exported above
    * Use the Balance Knob to bring either up or down
    * Note you cannot move one signal from its original position
    If you want to pan a stereo signal, you have to use the insert: Imaging > Direction Mixer. Only then can you position a stereo signal in your stereo field. This is documented in the user manual in the section called: "Setting the Pan, Balance, or Surround Position".
    Have fun!

  • How to go back to version 2.2

    V3 has ****** me off. How do I go back to 2.2?

    hondacrv wrote:
    In the first place, why Apple is charging Ipod Touch users for $9.95 for software updates. Windows does not charge for any software updates.
    Because they can, and because this is an optional "upgrade" with new features rather than update to fix problems (though I use "upgrade" +very loosely+ in this case with all the troubles ... but if you paid for 3.0 you can bet that 3.0.1 will be a free update).
    As for Windows, you can't go from Windows XP to Vista for free, which might be a better analogy compared to a free patch.
