How to go from full subscription to Photographers package?

Hi all,
I have a quick question.
I recently got into photography and subscribed to the full Creative Cloud subscription - but I only use PS and Lightroom.
I don't have any previous versions of PS or LR - in that light, how do I get the photographers package?
Is it even possible or am I forced to choose the subscription plan where I pay a single fee for both LR and PS each, resulting in 3x the price of the actual Photographers package?
Thanks in advance!
Br
Kenneth

Hi Kenneth
You need to own a previous qualifying version of Photoshop CS3-CS6 to sign up for this program.
As 99jon said, if you're not using any of the other apps you might want to consider a single app membership of Photoshop and purchase Lightoom 5 as a perpetual license.
Thanks
Bev

  • How to change from full $49.99 plan to Photographer Plan?

I am a photographer and have been paying $49.99 per month for Photoshop and Lightroom.  I only use Lightroom and Photoshop.  I tried to switch online to the new plan but it won't let me.  I get a message to contact Customer Service, but Adobe doesn't have a Cutomer Service department, never has.  I was directed to this forum.  Any ideas?
    Thanks!

800-833-6687 is their support line; As for the chat, you have to get on at just the right time.
Yesterday, I got on around 2pm PST. I had 45 people ahead of me before I was able to speak with a representative.
It took 2~ hours to get to speak with someone... Then a few minutes after speaking with the representative, they connected me with a technician. It took two hours until a technician was available.
You have to do it sometime between 7am and 5pm PST.
I wouldn't suggest trying on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. (Thanksgiving the technicians will more than likely be off; And Black Friday/ the weekend of might be hectic for them. Then again, I doubt anyone is going to go towards Adobe for a Black Friday deal.)

  • Can the 50% cancellation fee be waived if switching from full membership to photography package?

I really only use Lightroom and Photoshop and I want to cancel my full CC membership and switch to the cheaper photography plan, but I am curious if there is a way to waive the cancellation fee since I only just renewed my full membership about a moth ago. Can anyone help me out here?
    Thank you!

Your IT administrator will send you an email invitation to join Creative Cloud for teams. Once you have accepted the invitation you should contact us to cancel your individual membership.
You need to launch one of your CC apps and select Help>Sign out. Close the app, relaunch and sign in again with your Adobe ID. This ensures that your Adobe ID is now associated with the new subscription plan.  (Your Adobe ID would be your company email address if this was the address used for the teams invitation).
Please let me know if you have further questions.
    Thanks

  • How do I downgrade my subscription from Adobe CC to Photoshop only?

I signed up for a yearly subscription around October 2013 for CC.  But I've only learnt to use Photoshop and I never use the other programmes.  I'm currently not working so I cannot afford the $49.99 a month subscription.  I would like to downgrade my subscription/membership to Photoshop only, as $9.99 a month is within my budget.  I have tried the Chat facility a few times, but I have never been successful in getting anyone online to talk to. The last time I tried, I was waiting online for over an hour and just kept getting the "thank you for your patience" message.
Please let me know if it's possible to downgrade to Photoshop only, and if so, how to go about it.  Thank you!

    Hi again Rajshree,
I'm still not able to purchase Photography CC on Adobe.com.  I tried logging out and purchasing as a new user, but it asked me to set up a user name and password, and I would like to use my existing one. The minute I log in, it defaults again to the message " You're already subscribed to the Creative Cloud membership (one-year), A$49.99/month plus applicable tax. See your plan details. Want to take advantage of our promo for this product? Please contact Customer Support to see if you qualify".
Can I give you permission to override this and make the purchase of Photography CC on my behalf, and cancel my CC membership? If not, please advise how I can change my subscription, as I can't find a way to get around my existing subscription. If I cancelled it, I'd get charged 50% of the remainder of my yearly subscription, and you've already said there won't be any penalty.  Thanks!

Forum Tip: Since you're new here, you've probably not discovered the Search feature available on every Communities page, but next time, it might save you time (and everyone else from having to answer the same question multiple times) if you search a couple of ways for a topic, both in the relevant forums and in the Apple Knowledge Base before you post a question.

  • How to cancel my personal subscription to CC so I can use my second team licence from work at home?

How to cancel my personal subscription to CC so I can use my second team licence from work at home?
Hi there, I have both a personal subscription and a team subscription to Creative Cloud. This means I also have to adobe.com accounts.
My boss just informed me that I have 2 licences on the team plan, and I should be using my other team licence at my home office. (Can't do corporate work on a personal computer).
So, how do I easily cancel my personal subscription and add my team subscription on my home computer? I'll need the second licence of software to be for a mac (my office computer is a PC).
Hope this makes sense. Thanks so much!

  • Yosemite: How do I get back from full-screen to original window size?

Okay, so today I used iPhoto for the first time since I reluctantly upgraded to Yosemite on Friday.
iPhoto is one of the few apps I often take into full-screen mode, and so obviously I noticed today that they've kindly taken away the full-screen arrows in the top right-hand corner of the window in Yosemite.
Posting a question about that in Support revealed the 'new improved' way to go full-screen, which is to click on the green traffic light in the top left-hand corner of the window.
Fair enough, but how do I get my iPhoto window back to the size it was before I went full-screen? I tried clicking the green-button again, but that insists on the window being what I call 'maximised', ie. spread across the entire width of my desktop. I want to snap from full-screen back to the window size I had before going full screen.
The arrows in the top right-hand corner used to do that perfectly well, but they're not there any more so I'm having to resort to laboriously re-sizing my window each time, which is far from ideal.
Anyone able to advise me please?

Do we know if it is iPhoto-specific, or do all app windows behave in this way?
Actually, I suppose I could find that out for myself...

  • HT1444 how to migrate from yosemite beta to full vesion

    Hi
how to migrate from yosemite beta to full vesion

When I look in "about this mac" - it says Yosemite 10.10. Do I really need to download it again?
I found on a blog that someone contacted the Apple service:
“simply install the final version of the software you are testing when it appears in Software Update” – that means the final version of the beta software you are given to test is what will be made public. So we’re on the same build as what is now in the App Store.
My compute OSX is 10.10 but build is (14A388b) while some say that app store version is (build 14A389).
Does it really make a difference? If I don't download it will it continue to update?
