How to go to the last post in a discussion?
Hi,
in the ist of posts in a discussion, how can I jump to the last post or page directly? Previously I could click on the time of the last post which brought me directly there.

You can't do it like you used to from the forum view, but if you open a thread then there should be a 'latest reply' link above the first post on the page - that should take you to the last post on the thread, but it doesn't appear to be working for all people (for some people it's taking them to the penultimate page on the thread).

When I want to report spam, I use a bookmark that takes me to the first message in the Spam forum. If I click on the "Reply" button of this first message, I get the box for writing my report, but the "last" message above it is #49. not the #282 which is the last at the time of wrinting this:
When posted, my report appears where it should, but this is annoying. I have observed this for some time now -at least for some weeks- but I had not noticed how annoying it is until Sunday, when I had to post many times there.
This happens in Firefox/Mac, but I have just checked and it also happens in Safari/Win 7. And it also happens in other long threads: trying to reply to their first message takes me below message #49, not below the last.
Also, if I click on the Latest Reply button instead, I am at least taken to the last page of the thread, but not to the last message.

I think I'm not following you. In your previous thread you said

And this is exactly the problem I am reporting. I haven't said that I get the same effect whatever means I use to try to go to the last message. I do get it when I use a way that I have been using for years: to use a bookmark to go directly to the Spam thread (instead of looking for it in the list of threads, as many times it is necessary to scroll down to get at it), and to click on the Reply button of its first message.
Incidentally, I get the same problem if I go to the Spam thread by using the link provided at the top of the list of topics in this forums. And yes, I also use the Discussions tab by default. -

For an Update termination you need to go into the System Log to check the real cause of the termination.
My guess is that the document number has already been used. It has happened to me and I found no cause for that.
I did the following then:
I checked the highest used document number in that number range and corrected the from number of the number range.
Then I went into the TABA table and corrected the entries there that they corresponded to the number range.
Then I did a manual reconcilliation between AA and GL. In my case they matched, If they don't you would need to post manually to the GL to get them to match.
Then I ran recalculation of asset values. and finally an unplanned depreciation run.
For me it solved the problem.

Recently, U2 music appeared on my ipod without my requesting it or wanting it. I was able to delete all of the songs except for one. How do I delete the last one from my ipod? Balaji KYou'll probably have to call CSS on this one as this not normal by any means. The messages you noted above are completely normal but if that's all you are seeing then there's an issue.
Have you reviewed wcm.log and wsusctrl.log?

There is nothing you can do now. There are apps available from the app store that would give you that information if installed before it was lost/stolen.

Try STAD transaction. Unfortunately it contains a huge amount of data, so it is available only for a few days backwards... Maybe some weeks, but you can't make yearly reports from its data... So it's not useful to see, which program is in use or not...
I planned once to download it weekly, but it was not so important...

How to keep unaltered the last line?
Hi I am doing some last corrections in a book which is going to be in the next days published and I am not allowed to change the form of the pages. (The indexes at the end of book are already done). Thus by correcting some footnotes (making them shorter) the main text above also changes (the first line of the next page appears in the page I corrected the footnotes) and I cannot keep the previous form of the pages. How can I keep the last line of the main text unaltered so that the pages turn exactly at the same point like before?
If I am understanding your issue correctly, it seems that you are trying to keep the length of each page's main content unaltered so that the index could refer back to the correct page. It sounds like the content in each page's frames are linked, so that they flow continuously. Adding a page break (or a frame break) may be what you're looking for. You'll find it under Type > Insert Break Character.
