How to grab the acct# from my url

I have inserted a Spry Menu on my Coldfusion reports page
that contains all of my custom reports at our Intranet.
This reports cfm page was then added to our Company website.
Here is what a typical url looks like when accessing the Spry
menu:
http://192.168.1.77/Beta/ReportingDatabase.cfm?acct=9248#
(the ?acct=xxxx is dynamic, and will automatically reflect
the current account number)
How do I grab that acct# from the url so that I can use it in
my CF report parameter?
I would rather set that value as a Session Variable if
possible so I could use it again later in another report.

My situation is I have a few columns displayed in a table format using repeater tag. Some cells is a dropdown list(<netui:select /> tag). My question is how can I grab the value when user made a selection.
I believe I can get the row index but I can't use the datasource attribute to get the user selection since it is in a repeater. All the cell use the same datasource and workshop will give "NULL" value when there are more than one tag bind to the same form valiable.
Any suggestion are very much appreciated! Thanks a lot in advance.

How to get the filename from URL

Hi,
I want get the file name from the url while downloading a file. here is my case follows:
I have url like "http://www.myhost.com/dowloadFile.do?id=345546" . this will download "test.zip"; file from the browser.
I want download the file from that url and save that as "test.zip";, how can we get the file name "test.zip"; from java. I am using ConnectionURL to download the file.

Specify it in the content-disposition header.
To get it to work in a certain webbrowser, you need to supply it as part of the URL either.

I had the same problem after I gave my old iPad to my parents and tried to install Netflix. This is what you have to do: Open iTunes on your computer, the one you sync your iPad to. Then go to iTunes Store and search for and download Netflix app. After you download it, if your iPad is set to download new purchases it may start downloading on your iPad. If so, tap and hold to delete the app (because it is trying to install the new version on the iPad) Next step, go to the App Store on your iPad and find Netflix and it should say install since you already purchased it on the computer. Tap to install, and it will say the version is not compatible, tap to download a previous version. Click that and it will install the older version! One more thing, if and when you sync to your computer again it will say something like " Unable to install Netflix on your iPad" Just click the box to never remind you again, because it's trying to sync the newer Netflix app to your iPad, but it doesn't work so it displays the message. Grabbing the elements from the XML root node

Hello, I haven't worked with XML in over a year and I didn't use it much then. I'm trying to remember the best way to get the values from the root note (not child nodes).
For instance, in the following xml, I want the timestamp and the messageID from stumessages.
I can't recall if you are supposed to use xmlsearch or something else. I know how to grab the child nodes (for some reason, that part was easier to recall).

Hi Kranthi,
Every webdynpro component has a global controller called the component controller which is visible to all other controllers within the component.So whenever you want to share some data in between 2 different views you can just make it a point to use the component controller's context for the same. For your requirement (within your popups view context) you will have have to copy the component controllers context to your view. You then will have to (programmatically) fill this context with your desired data in this popup view. You can then be able to read this context from whichever view you want. I hope that this would have made it clear for you. Am also giving you an [example|http://****************/Tutorials/WebDynproABAP/Modalbox/page1.htm] which you can go through which would give you a perfect understanding of all this. In this example the user has an input field in the main view. The user enters a customer number & presses on a pushbutton. The corresponding sales orders are then displayed in a popup window for the user. The user can then select any sales order & press on a button in the popup. These values would then get copied to the table in the main view.

Make sure you donot have any data in cube. If you have some data in cube, then you will not be able to see Delete option.
Right click on the cube-->Delete data.
Then double click on the cube>Goto Edit mode> select the IO under that Dimension> right click> now you will be able to see the Delete option (provided you have deleted all the date from Cube)
Then right click on Dimension-->Delete

How to pass the data from a input table to RFC data service?

I am doing a prototype with VC, I'm wondering how VC pass the data from a table view to a backend data service? For example, I have one RFC in the backend system with a tabel type importing parameter, now I want to pass all the data from an input table view to the RFC, I guess it's possible but I don't know how to do it.
I try to create some events between the input table and data service, but seems there is no a system event can export the whole table to the backend data service.

Thanks for your answer, I tried the solution 2, I create "Submit" button, and ser the mapping scope to be "All data rows", it only works when I select at least one row, otherwise the data would not be passed.
Another question is I have serveral imported table parameter, for each table I have one "submit" event, I want these tables to be submitted at the same time, but if I click the submit button in one table toolbar, I can only submit the table data which has a submit button clicked, for other tables, the data is not passed, how can I achieve it?

You can use GetDatabankValue(HeaderName, Value) to get the value from databank and SetDataBankValue(HeaderName, Value) to set the value to databank.
You can refer to the API Reference to see list of associated functions and techniques we can use with related to Data Bank.
This is the for OFT but if you are using Open Script then you have direct access for getting the databank value but when it comes to setting a value you have to use File operation and write you own methods to do the set operation.

How often do you need to display it? It sounds like you might want to base a summary on that formula with a function of first or last. If it's a per page basis, it can be a page level summary. If it's at a higher level repeating frame, then you can create the summary at that level. I'd suggest taking a look at the online help for summaries using the first/last functions.
