How to group values in a column in ALV Grid

Hi ,
    i have got a report layout like below.
      1   4
      1   5
      1   6
      2   7
      2   8
      2   8
now i want to group the 1st column like below
     1  4
        5
        6
     2  7
        8
        8
  How can i get this in ALV grid display.....pls help me out if any of u have got a sample code.
