1. Receive the items to your child cmpny through GRPO or GR
2. Use Production Order cycle to do FG.
3. Define BOM or use Special Production
4. Transfer to the Sub- contarct warehouse through Inv.Transfer.
5. once after processing over, book inv.Transfer to you good down.

  • How to handle defect items in sap sd..

    Hi Friends,
How to handle defect items in sap sd..
My requirement is some of the XYZ materials are damaged 10%.Some more materials(Material number is XYZ) are damaged to 20%.When sales order is created with these defect items, the system should pickup the defect items only? One more thing is for 10% damaged items, one price is given. For 20% damaged items, one more price is given and so on.How this will be configured in sap sd.
We hav an idea that making these type of defects as scrap. Then create one more material number  as AXYZ(Defects of XYZ) and receipt without po.We can use the defects in sales order and soon. But how pricing will be set for different levels of damages?
Any ideas, documents and settings required for this scenario and share any ideas
    Thanks in advace....VM

    Hi All,
Thank you very much for your replies and sharing your valuable information
Just I am giving all the meeting points and those are
They donu2019t want to convert into scrap.
One more point is that if materials are in batches then???
When we create sales order that damaged one only should be picked by the system.
Manual entering the price need to be stopped
Without maintaining separate material for the damaged, any possibilities?
We discussed abt Split valuation point .Is it suitable to this? then how?
How to handle this we are thinking.
Both Rithvikau2019s point and Jigneshu2019s point need to be considered, actually this is main issue. There are more chances of malpractices/confusion to the user as mentioned by Rithvika. Here one more constraint is more material codes required for 10%, 20%, 30%........90% damaged one for one material as said by Jignesh
Actually I mentioned only as example 10% and 20% but have many.
    Any ideas how to proceed...

  • Service? How to handle this process in SAP?

    Hi,
    Ihave a problem
The customer provide us his own material,
In production process we add to it our own component. Than we have to pass it to our magazine with the same customer name but higher price.
Is it a service? How to handle in SAP.
    Thanks in advance.

This is not service but internal subcontracting scenario, You can go through below link for understanding it better,

  • How to handle Big FIles in SAP PI Sender file adapter

    Hi all ,
I have developed a interface , where it is File to Proxy, it is fine when i do with small and normal files
The structure contain one  Header unbounded  detail and one  Trailer, how to handle when the file size is more than 40 MB
    Thanking you
    Sridhar

    Hi Sridhar Gautham,
We can set a limit on the request body message length that can be accepted by the HTTP Provider Service on the Java dispatcher. The system controls this limit by inspecting the Content-Length header of the request or monitoring the chunked request body (in case chunked encoding is applied to the message). If the value of the Content-Length header exceeds the maximum request body length, then the HTTP Provider Service will reject the request with a 413 u201CRequest Entity Too Largeu201D error response. You can limit the length of the request body using the tting MaxRequestContentLength property of the HTTP Provider Service running on the Java dispatcher. By default, the maximum permitted value is 131072 KB (or 128MB).You can configure the MaxRequestContentLength property using the Visual Administrator tool. Proceed as follows:
           1.      Go to the Properties tab of the HTTP Provider Service running on the dispatcher.
           2.      Choose MaxRequestContentLength property and enter a value in the Value field. The length is specified in KB.
           3.      Choose Update to add it to the list of properties.
           4.      To apply these changes, choose  (Save Properties).
The value of the parameter MaxRequestContentLength has to be set to a high value.
The Visual administartor tool may be accessed using this link
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/40a08db9-59b6-2c10-5e8f-a4b2a9aaa3d2?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true
In short  ICM parameters to reset values for this case are
    icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB
    icm/server_port_ TIMEOUT
    rdisp/max_wprun_time
    zttp/max_memreq_MB
Please look into this thread to know more about ICM parameters
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/61/f5183a3bef2669e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
Second solution is that you must split the source file, so that each file is less than 5MB in size, then PI would not cause problem for file size between 1MB-5MB. you can insert header and trailer for individual smaller file obtained after split. All this can be done using scripts or conventional programing provided individual records within file are independent of each other. Finally you have to rename each new file created and put them in PI folder in sequential manner. All this can be achieved by simple shell script/batch file, a C code or java code. If you are going for a C or Java code you need a script to call them from PI communication channel parameter  "run operating system command before message processing".

  • How to handle special character in SAP CRM

    Hi all,
I am facing a problem on SAP CRM Web UI - Contact Creation - When a special character is inserted on address fields of Business
Partner (e.g. ` ~ ^ etc.), the interface does not understand this character and changes it to a TRIANGLE on pressing enter key.
Kindly guide as how to handle it or something is missing in terms of (note or patch).
I am running on SAP CRM 7.0
    Thanks,
    Pradeep Singh Dhadwal

    Hi Pradeep.
At the end of the day, a character is stored as a byte sequence on disk, and a code page defines the mapping between the byte sequence and any given character. The code page determines what character you can see and enter, therefore different code pages map different characters to the same byte sequence.
I suggest you to first check if your system is a Unicode system by checking the System menu->Status option->Unicode system field. I'll assume it is.
Then, please run report RSCP0018 (optionally also RSCPINST and then select Current NLS config pushbutton).
These reports will show you the actual configuration of languages and code pages of your Application Server. Please check that the correct languages and code pages are configured. If you need to know more about code pages configuration, please check Note 42305, which explains pretty well the whole process.
    Kind regards, and good luck.

  • How to handle "bulk orders" in SAP AFS ?

    Hi experts,
do some of you know how to manage in SAP AFS the so-called bulk orders also known as "promises to buy" ?
I heard about the chance to use a SD contract: if this is the case which type of contract I am supposed to use ? How this contract is treated by the ARUN ? Is it MRP relevant ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Karlinga.

Don't believe this is possible without a manual process linked to it.
The only solution I see for now is that you first only release the TR that need to go to your follow-up system, import them, then perform the manual actions and then release the subsequent TRs, etc...
Same issue is popping-up when using XI Transports, as each TR has a Change List that needs to be activated. If two TRs within the same maintenance cycle contain the same object, the second TR will fail because the change list for that object is not yet activated. A manual process can solve the issue. At our project, we introduced a new user status for this.

  • How to handle deemed imports in SAP..

    Hi all,
My client has the requirement of deemed imports.
In this case client orders to a third party who procures the materials, does the customs clearing, pays the excise ...
The third party can transfer  the excise values to client.
eg: The third party says material price is 90 INR
It includes the excise values also.
If we order 100 pcs then total amt to third party is 90*100=9000
It includes the excise values also.
So we first calculate using excel the correct material price
In eg: it is 77.72 INR *100 = 7772 INR
We enter the CVD = 10%=777.2
    ECS ON CVD = 2 % = 15.544
    SECS ON CVD = 1 % = 7.772
    AED = 5 % = 428.6258
    Thus sum become 9000 inr
Then CST/VAT is to be calculated on this amount
Please check what i am goin to plan is correct\
    1. PO with as said conditions makin the material price 77.72 * 100
Conditions amounts entered in pricing procedure
    tax code (for CST/\VAT)
    Here the problem arises
since tax is calculated on the base amo;unt , tax get calculated on the 77.72100 where it shud have actually been 90100
    2. migo with conditions in pricing procedure
    3. miro
here i give tax codes to each line in miro
ie; for material, CVD ,ECSon CVD, SECS on CVD, AED so that the tax is calculated on the correct amount.
    Is this correct or not??

    Hi Shri,
Regarding your query,SAP does not have the functionality of Managing PF Trust, as the management of these trust are governed by Govt authorities, this remains outside of SAP.
For considering the PF trust as requirement
1-You can have an Interface to flow data from SAP to other system which the PF trust has and vice versa if needed.
2-you can create a company code for the same and pass on data to the trust, however based on your requirement you will have to discuss this alongwith your FI/CO Consultant, properly map the requirement and then only go ahead with the same to get the desired output as required.
For creating this different trust and assigning employees to that refer to the configuration given to you.

  • How to handle sub-email accounts?

    Hi,
I asked this question years ago!
Is it possible by now with the new ipads to respond with an email account's sub-accounts?

Do you mean actual discrete accounts, or email aliases?  My hosting service allows me to host up to 2000 emails as either aliases of any given account, or discrete accounts.  I can create new accounts for any domain I own, as well as create aliases for any email account for any domain.  When I create a new account, those are not sub-accounts of anything (it is an email account in its own right), and no email client I know of would treat it like one (ie. like an alias of another account).
In the iPad email app, each account has to be set up as a separate account, and no, you cannot use reply from anything but the account that message arrived in.  Even if you move the incoming message to a folder in another account, when you select "reply" it will fill in "from" based on the account that message was originally sent to.
Email aliases will never show up in the iPad email app as separate, since all the aliases literally deliver to a single account's inbox.  When you use your email hosts web interface, then you are seeing your mail through their specific web tool which includes code specifically taylored to separate your aliases.  If you had and retained an older @mac.com or @me.com email, those are now aliases to your iCloud.com email account.  But anything coming in to any of those all goes into your iCloud inbox, as iCloud makes no distinction of them - they all point to a single, common inbox.  Even in a web mail interface, if your aliases appear separate, that is a feature of your service providers web interface, so will not be reflected in any standalone email client.

  • SAP Idocs -How to handle response from target system

    Hi,
I am working on a scenario in which I will send Idocs asynchronously from SAP thro a SOAP adapter to a  webservice deployed on the target system.
After the Idoc data is posted in the target system, the target system will send the acknowledgement for the receipt(basically response message). How to handle this scenario?
SAP Idoc( outbound asynchronous)---> SAP XI3.0(soap adapter) ---> Target system(inbound synchronous)
Do I need to go for BPM to handle this situation?
Is there any alterantive to BPM.
If any of the forum members who have worked on the similar scenario could help me in finding a better solution,I will be thankful to them.
    Thanks,
    Leo

    Hi Udo,
Thanks for the info.My scenario is like this.
SAP R/3 Idoc -> SAP XI 3.0 <-> Webservice in the target system.
The webservice in the target system will receive the Idoc as a request messsage and send a response message synchronously.
Since Idoc is sent asynchronously( I believe Idocs sent from SAP are always asynchronous),there is no Proxy waiting in SAP R/3 to receive the response message from the target system.
If I go for BPM for the above scenario, will the BPM steps look like the following.
    1)Receive Idoc from SAP.
    2)Send Idoc sysnchronously to webservice
3)Receive the response from the webservice synchronously.
4.Post the response message to a proxy which can handle it further in SAP R/3.
Please note that my knowledge in BPM is limited and correct me if I am wrong.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Aaron,
    Thanks for your reply.
I tried with Payload zip bean and the java mapping as mentioned in the response mapping of OM.
Payload zip bean - Zip  zip.mode  unzip
I am getting the error below in the receiver rest channel -
"Transmitting the message using connection JPR failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleException: Zip: error occured during processing: java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid stored block lengths"
Java Mapping - used the java mapping in the response of Operation mapping
Here also i am seeing the same error in the channel log as it is synchronous step and the message got cancelled.
"Transmitting the message using connection JPR failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error encountered while executing mapping: com.sap.aii.af.service.mapping.MappingException: Mapping failed in runtimeApplication mapping program com/equalize/xpi/esr/mapping/java/UnzipAndAttach throws a stream transformation exception: Exception: invalid stored block lengths"
The below is the response i am seeing and is it proper zip response payload(any encryption) , kindly advise.

  • How to add sub total

    hi
how to add sub total in SAP Script using subroutine

SAPscripts How to calculate Totals and Subtotals
I have some doubs in BDC and SMART FORMS.  I want to change the material number using the transaction code MM02 through BDC.
In scripts and smartforms how to calculate totals and subtotals?
To calculate totals and sub totals in sap scripts you have to use subroutines.
Say if you have to add the unit price (KOMVD-KBERT) then in the main window whereever tat value is picked write this routine
    /: DEFINE &TOT_PRICE&
    /: PERFORM F_GET_PRICE IN PROGRAM <subroutine prog name> /:USING &KOMVD-KBERT& /:CHANGING &TOT_PRICE& /:ENDPERFORM
Then write the variable where ever you want it to be printed (mostly it will be in footer window)
Then create subroutine pool program and you have to write the code.
FORM F_GET_PRICE tables int_cond structure itcsy
outt_cond structure itcsy. data : value type kbert.
    statics   value1 type kbert.
    Read int_cond table index 1.
    value = int_cond-value.
    value1 = value1 + value.
    Read outt_cond table index 1.
    outt_cond-value = value1.
    Modify outt_cond index 1.
    ENDFORM.
I have given a rough outline, please be aware of the variable conversions as Int_cond-value and outt_cond-value are characters.

  • How to Handle SAP SUS XML Acknowledgment

    Hi folks,
I have a scenario here where the SAP R/3 system sends a Purchase Order document to SAP SUS through a SAP XI Mapping.
After processing the P.O. document, the SAP SUS system, automatically, returns a Acknowledgment message (ns: http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30) to SAP XI.
I need to implement a BPM scenario where SAP XI processes this Acknowledgment message and Logs it into my Monitor System (JDBC Adapter). Actually, the SAP XI needs to send to my Monitor System the status (Success or Fail) of the P.O. processing by SAP SUS.
How can I handle this Acknowledgment message with a BPM Scenario? Is it possible?
    Best Regards,
    Nascimento

    Hi Thiago,
Currently in BPM you can do this with ASYNC-SYNC Bridge design.
You can not dirrectly access the content of the ACK, however the BPM shows different behaviours based on the ACK status. E.g. if the ACK contains a success message the BPM will continue in its normal process, if the ACK contains a permanent error, it will either stop or go through an exception branch (provided such a branch has been defined). Have a look at the documentation: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/43/65ce41ae343e2be10000000a1553f6/content.htm It doesnt"t state the above mentioned behaviour in detail but says that you need to define an exception branch.
The trickiest part is always to find out, when you will get a transient vs. as permanent error ack. If you are using ACKs with Proxies refer also to this link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/29/345d3b7c32a527e10000000a114084/content.htm and this http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/f4/8620c6b58c422c960c53f3ed71b432/content.htm
Receiver adapters that run on the Adapter Engine support system acknowledgments if they are requested by the sender. Acknowledgements are triggered when a message is successfully processed by the adapter or if an error occurs while it is being processed. Receiver adapters do not support application acknowledgments. The RNIF and CIDX adapters are exceptions to this rule, since they also support scenario-dependent application acknowledgments. Sender adapters of the Adapter Engine do not request any acknowledgments.
However IDoc adapter is requesting application acks. Therefore you have to disable acks for this scenario using report IDX_NOALE.

  • How to handle this payment scenario in SAP

    Hello Gurus,
Can anyone please help me with how we make this payment in SAP. Customer A is the alternate payer for Customer B. We gave customer B a credit memo. When customer A is making payments, customer A wants to use the credit memo assigned to customer B as a part of the total payment. How does this scenario be handled in SAP
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
You can use the Head office and Branch relationship then this should work . All the invoices/Credit memos get updated in the branch office and head office for reporting and at the time of receipt it can be made at the headoffice level
