How to have a page in landscape and the next in portrait

i am unable to figure out how to have in a single document a page in landscape and the next one in portrait.
can someone advise on how to do it? or maybe this option is not available in pages08.
at least i have to be able to insert a chart in lanscape even if the document is in portrait and i am unable to do it as well

To fill in the blanks: start your document in portrait mode; on page 2 select all the elements, then click on the Metrics inspector. Use the rotation wheel to rotate this elements 90 degrees.

Click at the end of the Tile page.
Menu > Insert > Section Break.
Click in the second Section. Insert a page number in the Header or Footer.

Is there any way to view some of the pages in this PDF file in Landscape and the remaining pages in Portrait?

How to have an object in colour and the rest in black an white?

Could someone please explain how I can create an effect where one object in the scene is in colour and everything else is black and white? I'm trying to have a red hawaiin shirt stand out like this. I'm using FCP 5, not 6 so I don't have the Color app which I believe does this.

While I'm sure color can do this. It's also pretty easy to do in FCP.
1. Apply the "Color Corrector 3-Way" to the clip.
2. With the "Color Cerrector" Tab in the effects window open, look at the bottom of the window and you'll see "Limit Effect" with an arrow on the left side of the window. Click the arrow and some options will appear.
3. Click the eye dropper tool and select the color you want to keep.
4. Tweak the selection by adjusting the color sat, and luma options. (There's no true science to this you just have to play with it until you get what you're looking for.) To help click on the "key" below the eyedropper to toggle different views to help you get your matte right.
5. When you're happy with the matte. Drag the sturation slider all the way down. The color that you selected is now desaturated.
6. Below the "key" is a "trapezoid" button. Click and it will invert your selection leaving your selected color nice and saturated and everything else B&W.

In pages you can only have one orientation of the Page. You have to rotate the content on the pages that you want horizontal. Save the document in Pages format so you'll have a original version to work on. Then Export to or Print to PDF and open the document in Preview. Here you can rotate the pages to horizontal viewing.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

How to have a page CONTINUE to check Database Record? For example, there's a page which itself will periodically check the database, if there's any new data the page will Popup a new page with those data. My question is how can the page keep checking the database?
One of the solution(not good) is that there's a hidden frame with a hidden Servlet, it will refresh every x secs and connect database for every refresh, it seems not a good solution. Please suggest some idea. Another way is using applet.

You can check the database in a thread as much as you want but your problem will be sending the data to your client when it changes. Normally you can't send anything to the client until it sends a request; that's why the HTML meta-tag for refreshing works. The other way to have the client make repeated requests that was suggested was an applet. This could indeed work, except that you mentioned "mobile agent" as a requirement. Not quite sure what that is, but it's probably not a platform that supports applets. That would be a problem.
On the other hand, if your platform is one that can receive unscheduled messages (in pager style), you could try that approach.

How can I uninstall Pages 5.2 and go back to Pages 4.3?

It seems that Apple is trying to turn its computer applications into iphone apps. They are eliminating essential features and functions that don't work on a 600 dollar pocket watch. It appears to be part of a misguided attempt to have universal cross-platform compatibility. Or they just want to get out of the computer business. I suspect that accountants are having too much influence on business models. There is a place for accountants. You cannot merge Apple ID accounts, that has never been supported.
You can contact the Apple ID Security folks per the listing in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 and they can help reset security questions and get the account working.

Right click on your device in the device list and choose "transfer purchses" to copy all music bought in iTunes to your new iTunes library.
