How to have blank screen, black color, no Walpaper...

I like to have simple background ..i mean no walpaper on any of my home screen. can somebody assist me to have that on my Nokia E7.

There are many Black themes available on the web, I use Tehkseven a lot , but you can get them at Ovi Store and elsewhere .They are easy to install ,or if you're happy with the icons you have at the moment simply download a black wallpaper and use it on all 3 screens . I rebooted my computer and now it's working.
When in doubt, reboot, but in my frustration this afternoon it didn't occur to me.

I get frustrated with Apple too, but if you've spent any time on an Android device, you would know how lucky we are to have an Apple product. The interface is awful and there are no apps, even to get stuck.

First of all you need to get into safemode
for that press f8 or del key while starting the computer
then you will get many options there you must go to safemode
Secondly ,after getting to safemode go to 1.control panel ->2.Device Manager->3.Disable AMD HD Graphics
Thats all
then restart your computer to get into normal mode
May be if you upgrade your amd hd driver your black screen problem will be gone

As your iPhone is getting connected to iTunes take a backup of your iPhone in iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
And then Restore your iPhone to Factory settings and see if it works and if that doesn't fix the problem then there might be something wrong with the Hardware and you will have to take your iphone to Nearest Apple Genius Bar.

1610HD Blank screen causes Color wheel fault

When I use the blank screen function on the projector, the screen blanks with the message
"Press Blank again..." for about 30 seconds or so. I then see the lamp turn off and the two amber lights flashing on top indicating a problem with the color wheel. Power cycling the projector restores operation until the screen is blanked again. Does anyone else have a problem with the screen blanking feature causing a color wheel fault?

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Worked; now have full screen. To explain - 3/4ths screen was on the right side of the display, so there was a small soething something in the upper left corner(of the 3/4ths screen) which I clicked on & dragged until the
3/4ths was on the left hand side of the screen. Then went to device on screen lower right & dragged it (& display)
fully to the right, resultingin the full screen display. Thanks gain

By blank do you mean that the screen is black? Is it gray? Is it blue? The word "blank" is vague when trying to determine and isolate startup issues.

ThinkPad W530: Blank Screen/Weird Colorful screen on Lid Open

Please see the picture below. This error happens randomly when I close my lid, and/or move my laptop fast from one place to the other. I get either the error screen below or a blank screen. Both the error screen below and blank screen require me to hold the power button down and reboot my W530.
Has anyone ever experienced this error? What is the cause of this issue? Does anyone know of a fix that won't void my warrantee?

I'm having the exact same problem with my one month old W530 (from the beginning). I didn't know that the blank screen problem was associated with the horizontal colored lines problem until I found your posting. (I thought it was a Power Mangement problem.)
I've had two on-site service calls, one replaced the mother board and the other replaced the screen. Neither helped a wit. During the second service call the failure happened righ in front of the technicians. Did not trigger anything from them, though.
I am currently going through the process of having Lenovo sent me a replacement for this lemon.
If I were going to to take further steps to fix it, the next thing I would try is to replace the cable connecting the screen to the motherboard. The second service call actually intended to do that as well, but they brought the wrong cable.

Have you tried closing the Mail app completely and then seeing if the emails show when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Mail 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Iphone screen went blurry and shaky- now I have blank screen?

I dropped my phone around two weeks ago- although phone had been fine since. Last night however, I was using my phone as I normally do when my screen started going shaky and lines began going through it, I turned my phone off and on again which did not help. now finally, the screen has went completely blank, i can still use the screen- I can hear it unlock and take screenshots, however it just goes from white fading to black again when I do this, so I cant see anything.
I have rebooted my phone and reset to factory settings through Itunes, also have looked at my screenshots through my computer and can see that it is taking perfect image of the screen- just I cant see it!
what could this be?

it sounds like you have confirmed 100% that this is in fact a hardware problem with your iPhone, and unfortunately, the only option is going to be some sort of repair.

How to set full screen background color in new Pages

I just updated to Mavericks and the new Pages...I often use a certain background color when I work in full screen mode, but that color is gone withe the upgrade and I don't see how to specify a color any longer...any ideas?

If you are not actively using the pad, it turns itself off, called autolock. It goes in stages, first sort of grey, then off. The time can be set under setting, general, autolock. The shortest time is 2 min, and goes up from there. This is part of the power saving scheme. Look there, and see if that is what is happening. If you are actively using an app, it will not turn off. If you are using an audio app, like the i pod app, the screen will turn off but the audio will continue.
