How to: have multiple users on reader and pro fill out same form
I have a marking form that 5 users will use to mark to questions each and fill in. Having an issue with the reader users that when they same they create a new file and can't save to the one form. All the pro users can share the form fill in their two questions and then pass on to another user who updates the form the adobe reader user however creates a new file. Is there anyway around this other then all using pro.
It is not always the same markers I will have up to fifteen markers.
Not an easy way. You'd need to create a server that the applets would connect to and then you could potentially have several players. But it involves changing your applet's design and doing a lot of networking and other such stuff, so it's not something you can whip up in a couple of weeks (if you don't have any experience on those things).

I tried to use me.com as Apple ID but received error message as that was listed as my alternate email address under the sbcglobal.net account.
If you tried "Swapping"them at the Apple ID page you can't do it.
In Messages the iMessages account you should be able to use either, much the same way you can set up both in Mail and get mail from different sources.

Filling out enabled forms in Reader 10 vs Reader 11
Reader 10 requires you to "sign" in order to save the form but Reader 11 does not.
The message (in purple banner) in 10 is:
Click 'sign' to fill out and sign the form. When you are done, you can save a copy by clicking 'Done Signing'
The message in Reader 11 is
Please fill out the following form. You can save data typed into this form.
I have both versions so I saved in v10 after "signing" which not a requirement of the form I built.
Reopening in 10 does not allow me to enter any more data . Message in purple banner is gone.
This is a problem as the form is 14 pages long and most folks do not have all their answers together at one sitting.
Reader 11 allows me to partially complete, save, close, reopen and continue filling out the form.
Is this really the way these versions work?Why do you start a new topic with the same issue as http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1128302 ?

We have multiple users, each with multiple devices, on 1 apple id - as we want to share music and ibooks etc. We want the children to have access to the store, but with a financial limit. How do we do this?

That's simply not possible I'm afraid. You'd need to give them their own account and allowance or make it so you are required to be there to input the password when they wish to make a purchase. -

Each user should have their own account and password to log in. Each is independent of the other. So for Mail each has their own Mail account if they set one up in Mail.
That's the way it should be set up. Are you using a single account and allowing multiple users to use that one single account? If so then in Mail at least you could set up individual mail accounts. But everything else in the system is shared. -

How can I have multiple users on iTunes (in order to connect to a shared office iPad)? Currently each of us has our own iTunes account, so I've made an "all office" Apple ID. However, I can't seem to get two different accounts (my personal and the office) to work on my machine. Even when I login as "the office", my personal library is still showing. Additionally, when I try to setup with a first-time use in iTunes, I get an error that I don't meet the minimum age requirement - no matter what birthdate I enter!
The library exists regardless of which user is logged in.
The only way around that is to create different user accounts on the computer.
There is no way to have 20 unique iTunes users access a shared iTunes under a single login on the computer. -

ie: I have my apple ID with my own credit, how can I set up credit for my son under the same apple ID, so that he can still access the same apps I've already downloaded and paid for?I've been trying to figure out a clean way to do this too. I think you may need more than one Apple ID – one that is shared and used to purchase "sharable" items and then "individual" Apple IDs for you and your son. That's the idea that I'm pursuing for the moment.
It seems that there must be a way to do this, App Store purchases for the Mac are licensed across multiple machines. iPhone app purchases have "all your devices" licensing. Makes me think that Apple has a process in mind for sharing an account (or associating a device with multiple accounts).
Other things I've learned:
- Apparently you can't merge Apple ID accounts. I asked about this once at an Apple Store and was told that there was no way to do it.
- If you share an Apple ID the Messages app behaves in a somewhat surprising manner. It must use your Apple ID to decide where messages should be sent because all users get all messages. This can make it very hard to organize a surprise party :-) -
How can I sync Iphone to a PC calendar then have multiple users share that calendar? Is there an application that does that?
If it is actually an exchange calendar, and it's not linked to a specific user, it should be possible to simply add the exchange account to each device in question and have that exchange account only sync the calendar. Then every user has access to the same calendar and can add/edit entries to the calendar as needed.
The same would apply if it were a Google calendar added via Exchange.
If the calendar is not actually on Exchange, but rather added from an outside source, it will depend on that outside source where the calendar originates. -

I am in the process of expanding a database of chemistry journal articles. These materials are ideally acquired in two formats when both are available-- PDF and HTML. To oversimplify, PDFs are for the user to read, and derivatives of the HTML versions are for the computer to read. Both formats are, of course, readily recognized and indexed by Spotlight. Journal articles have two essential components with regards to a database: the topical content of the article itself, and the cited references to other scientific literature. While a PDF merely lists these references, the HTML version has, in addition, links to the cited items. Each link URL contains the digital object identifier (doi) for the item it points to. A doi is a unique string that points to one and only one object, and can be quite useful if rendered in a manner that enables indexing by Spotlight. Embedded URL's are, of course, ignored by Spotlight. As a result, HTML-formatted articles must be processed so that URL's are openly displayed as readable text before Spotlight will recognize them. Conversion to DOC format using MS Word, followed by conversion to RTF using Text Edit accomplishes this, but is quite labor intensive.
In the last few months, I have added about 3,500 articles to this collection, which means that any procedure for rendering URL's must be automated and able to process large batches of documents with minimal user oversight. This procedure needs to generate a separate file for each HTML document processed. Trials using Automator's "Get Specified Finder Items" and "Get Selected Finder Items", as well as "Ask For Finder Items" (along with "Get URLs From Web Pages") give unsatisfactory results. When provided with multiple input documents, these three commands generate output in which the URLs from multiple input items are merged into a single block, which yields a single file using "Create New Word Document" as the subsequent step. A one-to-one, input file to output file result can be obtained by processing one file at a time, but this requires manual selection of each item and one-at-a-time processing. What I need is a command that accepts multiple input documents, but processes them one at a time, generating a separate output for each file processed. Is there a way for Automator to do this?Hi,
With the project all done, i'm preparing for the presentation. Managed to get my hands on a HD beamer for the night (Epason TW2000) and planning to do the presentation in HD.
That of course managed to bring up some problems. I posted a thread which i'll repost here . Sorry for the repost, i normally do not intend to do this, but since this thread is actually about the same thing, i'd like to ask the same question to you. The end version is in AfterEffects, but that actually doesn't alter the question. It's about export:
"I want to export my AE project of approx 30 min containing several HD files to a Blu Ray disc. The end goal is to project the video in HD quality using the Epson EMP-TW2000 projector. This projector is HD compatible.
To project the video I need to connect the beamer to a computer capable of playing a heavy HD file (1), OR burn the project to a BRD (2) and play it using a BRplayer.
I prefer option 2, so my question is: which would be the preferred export preset?
Project specs:
- 1920x1080 sq pix (16:9)
- 25 fps
- my imported video files (Prem.Pro sequences) are also 25 fps and are Progressive (!)
To export to a BRD compatible format, do i not encounter a big problem: my projectfiles are 25 fps and progressive, and I believe that the only Bluray preset dispaying 1920x1080 with 25 fps requests an INTERLACED video (I viewed the presets found on this forum, this thread)... There is also a Progr. format, BUT then you need 30 fps (29,...).
So, is there one dimension that can be changed without changing the content of the video, and if yes which one (either the interlacing or the fps).
I'm not very familiar with the whole Blu-ray thing, I hope that someone can help me out."

Deploying Windows 7 via Offline Media (ISO) to MS Virtual PC's
I am looking on how to Hide the User Name, Password, and Domain fields which are prepopulated in the MDT wizard via the CS.ini (Not so concerned about the Domain field as I am User Name and Password)
We do need the Computer Name and OU fields to be seen, so skipping the wizard is not a option
The client just does not want these fields to be seen by the end users, they dont want them to even know the account name used for adding the machine to the domain, of course the password is not displayed but it must not be displayed either.
But since we use the fields they must still be fuctional just not seen.

Now I looking for to retrieve this footer section data available in multiple rows from footer table and present it in jsp page .
I am finding difficulties in how to show this multiple row data for dynamic no of rows .i.e. variable no. of rows.
