How to Have Overlapping Applications

What's I've noticed, is that if I have an application in full screen mode, eg. Safari, if I switch to another app (that's not in full screen), I'll be moved to the desktop before the app window opens.
What I'm wondering, is if there's a way so that the app opens without switching me to the desktop? Can I set it so that it overlaps into Safari? (So I can view content in Safari, and this second app, simultaneously)

You may:
1) Create all the Type in position, with the overlaps;
2) Type>Create Outlines, at least for the parts that are to overlap other parts (in some cases you may keep everything live Type, but not in the case shown because of the letter shapes and the mutual overlapping (such as Jumps/Over);
3) Select each set of letters to overlap others and Object>Compound Path>Make;
4) Object>Path>Offset Path by the desired gap round the letter shapes;
5) Select the Compound Path that is offset and change its colour to white, now you should have at least a partial covering of the letters below;
6) Object>Compound Path>Release, then Direct Select and delete the counter paths (those forming the counters/holes in the letters), now you should have at a further covering of the letters below;
7) To get rid of any remaining bit and pieces, you may change the shape of the offset paths by cutting, deleting unnecesary parts (such as parts between serifs), and moving individual Anchor Points (outwards).
If you wish to have the result on a coloured background, you may:
8) Select the Group of cover up letters and the underlying letters and in the Transparency palette flyout click Make Opacity Mask with Clip unticked and Invert mask ticked.

If your question is whether you can run multiple instances of WebLogic
 (or multiple applications) on one server, the answer is yes. The only
 problem is, you must have a unique port for each of the servers to run
 on. I.e., they can not all run under port 80 which has obvious
 internet/network implications.
 This also means you have multiple weblogic.properties files etc. for
 each instance.
 We do this with WL5.1 on a Linux 2.4 kernel in developement to allow
 multiple developers run their own instance on one box.

If the file has fields - actual PDF fields, you just type. The text goes in the fields.

Or do you want to fill in, a non fillable form, just once?
By the way if you have an application form and it isn't fillable, they DON'T expect you to fill it. Just print it and treat it like it came in the mail.

I am a software dev and I wish to have my application open links in Firefox.
Using ShellExecute(), i can do with with commandlines like:
firefox.exe http://support.mozilla.org
But I also want the option to open the link in private mode.
I am able to start firefox in private mode by doing this:
firefox.exe -private
However, if I add a link to the command line
firefox.exe -private http://support.mozilla.org
I get strange results.
If firefox is not running, it launches 2 copies of the application.
One that opens in private mode and the other opens in normal mode and goes to the URL specified.
If firefox is already running, it just opens the URL in a new tab.
No private mode instance is launched.
Am I using the command-line syntax incorrectly?

It will never work if Firefox is already running as Firefox will use the already opened Firefox instance. 
In that case only using a separate profile will work.
You can try to specify the -url switch as well.
*firefox.exe -private -url http://support.mozilla.org
You can also look at the -new-tab switch.
*firefox.exe -private -new-tab http://support.mozilla.org

You need to make sure the machine have the corresponding NI-VISA installed. Check in the NI software pages for the right version.
Also make sure that the com port's can be selected when you first start the application. Eg. if you refer to VISA "COM1" on the XP machine It might be "COM2" on the Win7 machine.

Thans for pointing out the error in my post. It seems, being rather busy in this period, I'm starting to wear out as I missed the fact the overlaps would be returned twice. :(
I had in mind a more general case where as single row overlaps with more than one other row.
The OP's data contained one to one overlaps only and it seems no generalized approach was needed.

How to install Adobe Application Manager? I downloaded it, but can't install.
Just purchased the CC for photographers. Have been using Photoshop since version 3.
I have been studying your support docs for several days and have no business messing around with something called, .gz files and installation logs. Totally unsuccessful "Updating" my CS6 or CS6 bridge or Extension Manager or the Adobe Support Advisor by the CC Desktop.
Have no Photoshop CS6 because I followed your CC support instructions.
Uninstalled my CS6 today so I can finish a job tomorrow. Bad decision on my part because I can't reinstall it and am unable to correct
this problem.
I was able to use CC to update LR, but am absolutely too afraid to touch it now.
I have been waiting inline for Chat also, but the numbers ahead of me are going up.
If someone in this Community forum can help me, it would be fabulous.

CS6 is not listed in the available Apps in the CC Desktop.
Support wait time right now is 2 hours by phone.
After sitting on Chat yesterday only to see the people "waiting ahead of me" go from 17 to 18, I gave up.

How to have multiple VideoMASTER devices

I currently have an application that makes color bar measurements. This VI (seen below) was quickly written just to see how well it does a color bar measurement. One thing that I realized is that I can't programmatically select a different video analyzer. Our test setup will actually have multiple video analyzers (PXIe-1491s) in one PXIe chassis and I will need to run VMS functions on different devices. From what I'm seeing is that there is no way. In case you are wondering why I just simply don't use an HDMI switch is because we are already one but we have time requirements that need us to test X amount of units per time.

I tried the VI what I have previously posted to acquire 2 images simultaneously from a different device and I saw this error, "niMMT Manager - Handle Repository.vi, possible reason: niMMT Manager error: niMMT handle has become invalid. This could be because the first niMMT caller has stopped execution." I get the impression that the VMS LabVIEW API can't handle simultaneous calls.

How to have multiple windows of same app under JSF 1.1

I know this has been addressed in JSF 1.2, but does anyone have a good solution in JSF 1.1 concerning how to allow multiple application instances to be opened in different browser windows at the same time? I work for a large financial services company and we have multiple instances of the same application up when working with more than one customer or account at the same time.
We�ve figured out a way to use a custom variable resolver and property resolver to provide an application instance scope that works with managed beans; however, we are struggling with how to handle the JSF component tree. We can replace the StateManager or ViewManager, but we will be running under a vendor implementation of JSF and do not want to outright replace their implementation. We wanted to simply define our own manager, decorate the viewId with additional information, and then pass it on to the default manager. The big issue is that while the restoreView methods take the viewId, the writeState methods do not. This seems like a pretty big show stopper to us. If we have to wait until JSF 1.2, it will be a long wait. Any ideas?

The way I'm thinking of doing this is to use nested beans. So for example, I'd have an "AccountBean" written as a JSF managed bean, but this is not what I'd declare in faces-config. Instead, I'd have an "AccountMgr":

</managed-bean>AccountManager would have a map of AccountBean objects. In my pages, I'd reference the acctMgr:
