Hello,
I bought CS 6 standard.
My mainboard crashed so I replaced it with another brand ones.
After rebooting, Windows 8 was still running fine and CS 6 too.
However, Adobe installer is telling me I need a new product key !!!
I am also using CS 6 on a laptop, as it allows for 2 computers.
How can I have my 2 authorisation keys back ?
Please help !

Contact support to reset activations. Swapping hardware counts as a new computer.

Such syntax for calculated columns isn't supported yet by CDS/HDBDD. The work around people would use today is to use a Sequence in any logic that does an insert into this table.

Hi,. I purchased Adobe Acrobat Standard XI last year and I re-formated my computer 1 month ago and all software have been removed from my computer including the Adobe Acrobat Standard XI. I would like to know how can I retrieve/ re-install it? I tried to log in to the Adobe website but not sure how to do it. I am using Windows 8. I will be grateful if someone can help

When you are successful, be sure to backup the install file and your S/N to a backup HD and/or CD so it is available in the future.

How to retrieve original Microsoft Office activation key after restoring Windows 7?

I had a operating system self-distruct and could not do anything to get past the BSOD. Using a recovery CD, I was able to access OneKey Restore which restored WIndows 7.  With my original notebook purchase I purchased Office 2010 and had a valid activation key - and have used Office since that time. Now that I have restored the OS, I don't know how to find the key again so Office won't run. Any ideas on what to do? Thanks.

How to have buttons come in 2 seconds after menu??

I have a sound effect and animation for the first 2 seconds of the DVD menu. I'd like the buttons to appear after that's done. Is that possible? How?

Do you mean the buttons itself (the graphic element) or just the overlay image?
You can delay the appearance of the overlay graphic setting the menu *Loop Point* to 2 secs.
About the button itselfs, the image that represents the button, you must manage it in your animation.

Will I have to Buy a Pro Key After Every QT Revision???

Help me understand...if I buy a QT Pro activation key today for QT v7.03, will I have to buy an another activation key ($30 from Apple) to get the Pro functions to work on the next version of QT (e.g. 7.03 is replaced by 7.04 or 8.0)?

Apple's history regarding the "Pro" upgrade has been very consistent since version 4.
You key will be good until version 8 is installed on your computer.
Incremental updates will not require a new registration.

How to have it keep playing podcasts one after the other, automatically?

This may be a stupid question... I have a bunch of podcasts on my iPod. I find that when listening (through the "Podcasts" menu on the iPod, not a separate playlist I made myself), when one is finished, it stops and I have to pick it up and ask it to start the next one. How do I get it to just keep going (one after the other)?

Are you (by any chance) saying that you have a video iPod, not a Classic?
actually I have both I have a Classic in my car, and a video one for travel. Both have the same issue but since it turns out they handle this differently, I wanted to know if the workaround posted for the Classic might have a counterpart in the video one... Thanks again!

How do I import (lost) photos to Library after crash?

I am using iPhoto '11 on a Mac OSX Lion 10.7.5.
I imported some photos from my camera, then chose to delete the photos from the camera. A few minutes later, iPhoto crashed-- and lost the photos.
I used right-clicking on the iPhoto app to see Package Contents and found the photos buried in a folder.
How do I safely import them back into iPhoto? (Since they are buried in a hidden folder, the "Import" function probably won't apply.)

Don't they show in the Last Import smart album? If they don't show in the Last Import smart album try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
2 - run Option #4, Rebuild Database.
If that fails to recover the photos continue with:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download the free version of iPhoto Library Manager and launch.>Click on the Add Library button,
2 - select the library you want to add from those in the selection window.
3 - make sure that in the rebuild window the checkbox "Scavange orphaned photos" is checked.
4 - now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
5 - in the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed. Click on the Create button.
Note 1: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost.
Note 2: Your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

After PC complete crash, reformat and reinstalling products, I have Dreamweaver FlexiLayouts but I get a message saying "This page was created using Flexiversion trial version. Not for commercial use". I paid for this FlexiLayouts and have email acknowledging this. I tried to register this product in my Adobe account by inputting the serial number, but it would not take it. I want to update my client's websites using FlexiLayouts. Please help.

Adobe doesn't make the Flexi CSS Layouts extension. It's created by a 3rd party developer. Have you contacted Extend Studio about this yet?

Change dimension constraints key after copy and paste

How do I change the dimension constraint key after I copy and paste or after the dimension is created? The reason is that the dimension I copy and paste has constraints named as "COPY_OF_RP_MERCHANT_UK" (I would like to be remove the COPY_OF)

Right-click on the dimension and select Editor. In the editor, click on the Edit menu and select Table Properties. Click on the constraints tab and rename the constraints.

I have lost Lightroom 5.6 due to a hard drive crash. The old hard drive has been replaced. How can I get LR5 back? I don't have a disc. I still have my LR4 disc and key. I have another adobe key, but don't know if it relates to LR5.

I have lost Lightroom 5 due to a crashed hard drive. I don't have a back up disc, and I dont think I have a key. I have a an adobe key recorded but don't know if it relates to LR5. I have an LR4 disc and key. LR5 is still intact and running on my laptop, but I need to use LR% on my desktop PC. I need an address to try a download so that I can try the key which might fit it. Any ideas how I can transfer the program (with key) from my laptop? Any other ideas?

How can labview update the string control (text-edit box) after we have pressed the carriage return key on the keyboard during text-editing within that box?

Dear readers,
I have been trying to work out how to get labview to detect the event when a 'string' control has been modified, where the user has finished editing the string either by 1) pressing the enter key on the keyboard, or by 2) taking the focus away from the string control again. For example.. if I use the mouse to click on the string control and then I type 1234 into the box, I would like to have a routine that does something once the user hits the Enter key of the keyboard, or when the user takes the focus away from the string control again by clicking on something else. I would like the routine to respond even when the user didn't change anything in the text box (such as when we mouse-click on the edit box to go into edit mode, and then mouse-click on something else to remove the focus with no changes to the contents in edit-box).
The purpose of my routine is to have a edit-box for a user to change for example the centre-frequency of a vector network analyser, so that the centre-frequency of the network analyser can change once the user finishes entering a new value in the text-edit box by hitting Enter key after the number is keyed in. Even if the user has clicked on the edit box, but changes their mind by mouse-clicking on something else to remove focus from the edit box, I would still like labview to detect the event when the control loses focus, so that the centre frequency can be updated anyway (to the same value that was already in the edit box).
So far, I've tried set the string control option to 'limit to single line', so that I can try to scan for a carriage return .. '\n' ... pattern in the string. Unfortunately this doesn't work because labview doesn't seem to attach the '\n' to the end of that single line.
Could someone please suggest ways to set a flag when a user hits Enter during text-edit mode of a string control, or when focus has been removed from the string control?
While I've only described my problem for controlling a single control parameter on the gpib device, I'd like to make this feature work so that I can do the same kind of thing with other control parameters as well.

Hi Kenny,
instead of using the event structure, you can directly achieve to what you want by the KeyFocus property of the string control.
- Enable Limit to single line option
- Create the property KeyFocus in read mode and connect an indicator
Each time you click on the string to modify it KeyFocus is True; when you click away or hit Enter KeyFocus is False.
You can toggle your settings when KeyFocus changes from True to False.

You need to go to the respective machines and launch Acrobat and check if it prompts for serial number.
You can also go to the help menu and check if 'Deactivate' option is highlighted.

Need your help again please. Done the install "eventually" now trying to register the product with the product name and the serial number for the product. However in the drop down box there is no option of the Adobe Acrobat Professional XI - Upgrade
the error message coming back to me is "the serial number is not a for qualifying product . Please try another.
