How to have same version of Network Magic on all pc`s on home network

I had to uninstall Network Magice from my laptop, and on re-installation I ended up with version 4.1 I am running version 5.0 on my desktop. Before uninstalling I had the same version on both. My question is, how can I get back to version 5.0 on my laptop, all I get from NM is a prompt to buy an update or a new version, I have entered my license key onto my laptop but I cannot upgrade, any help would be greatly appreciated.........

You "must" uninstall the older version and do a clean install of your new version, using the new key.

You need to purchase a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, which requires an Intel Mac with at least 1GB RAM. Run Software Update twice afterwards.

I have 2 old computers(both XP) now connected with a KVM switch, both have same version of FF (11.0) but different profiles, bookmarks & addons. How can easily I make them both the same?

#2 has many years of bookmarks and profiles, #1 is only 3 months old. I would like them both to run the same add-ons and have same profiles. How can I integrate the old to the new and the new to the old? Both are up and running fine. I got the KVM because one has MS Office 7, but couldn't afford to put it on the other one. They also both connect wirelessly to the router which is in the next room (my brother's as he's a gamer and needs a faster connection), so they aren't set up as a regular network although I log on with a password. I'd like to be able to put the entire profile once integrated on a flash drive. Thanks.

How to have 2 versions of Reader on 1 computer

I have a program that uses Reader 3.0. I cannot get around that version to get this program to work, but once I install it my current version of reader does not automatically work. For instance, I try to open PDFs from websites and they just give me errors (because 3.0 can't open 8 files) How do I have both versions and stop the errors??? Ideas?

As 'graffiti' states, you cannot have more than one working version on one (Windows) system. If I were in your situation I'd install Virtual PC, and in there a second copy of Windows. Run one copy of Adobe Reader in there, and the other copy on your main Windows.

If you want to keep them synced automatically, you should definitely try out [[What is Firefox Sync|Firefox Sync]]. Otherwise, just go to Bookmarks > Organize bookmarks and click the Import and backup button (It's the star with the square arrows in it). Then export HTML, move that file to the home computer and then follow the steps above but choose import HTML.

The speed of your internal network generally is much much faster than the speed of your internet connection. Unless he has an internet connection faster than approx 6Mbps then even dropping down to the old 802.11b Airport would not seen any decrease in speed of downloads etc...

If his PC is 802.11b/g-compliant, it shouldn't have any problems connecting to the AirPort base station.

That is always an option as well, especially since he will be the primary user throughout the year. I'd suggest going with a brand name, like Belkin, D-Link, or Linksys for the wireless router choice.

When you create a new playlist, it uses the view as shown in the main library.

I have been having this same problem. When I go to close Firefox, I get the message asking if I want to close the 2 tabs, even though I only see one. To view the hidden tab, close the currently open tab. The hidden tab will reveal itself.
This just happened to me and the URL of the hidden tab was:

I'm trying to create a form that should go to different sets of email recipients depending on a choice selected from a drop down list menu.
I know how to create the drop-down list, but I can't figure out how to connect it to some kind of "if, then" button or command? Who knows how to solve this?

The problem is that the Form Distribution Wizard only accepts a single email address for the return data. Unfortunately this cannot be changed because the Wizard also applies Reader-enabling to the form so it can't be changed later.
As a work around you can try using the Wizard to create the collection DataSet, but not send out the form. Instead send out your original form with the multiple return addresses. Be sure to Reader Enabled the form for "Form" and "Save" rights, and make sure the submit is returning the entire PDF. When the files come back from the users you'll have to manually add them into the data collection.

How to have a runtime error or failure cause all executions to stop and cleanup

I am using batch parallel mode. It's easy enough to terminate or abort all executions from SequenceFilePostStepRuntimeError using IEngine.TerminateAll() and .AbortAll(), but I would like to be able to set an error on all my running executions and cause them to run cleanup when I encounter an error on ANY of the test socket executions.
Anyone have an example of how I might do this?

I did something like this for a failure handler once... and looking through my code I think the biggest headache is to realize that one execution socket has no easy way of seeing the execution references for other sockets. These things are kept by the process model's top level execution... which you also don't have a super easy time accessing without tweaking some logic in your Model file.
(1)Somehow or another you want to get access to the "TestUUTs"/"SinglePass" Fileglobals.TestSocketExecutions[] array and make use of it in your classic RuntimeError callback. The easiest solution (but not the most elegant) would be to edit your model to copy/clone the file global into someplace more convenient... ie "TestUUTs - TestSocketEntrypoint".
(2) in your error callback, handle your error as usual i.e. tell top level sequence to go to cleanup etc. but also loop through the other execution references and do some variation on GetSequenceContext() and setting Runstate.sequenceErrorCode and the rest. The example api calls below are probably overkill...

I have Firefox version 34.0.5. All my bookmarks have disappeared and I can't add new bookmarks. The "library" remains empty. Help!!

Have tried to restore a bookmarks file (I have a dozen or so) but I get the message "unable to process the back up file". Clicking the "star" to add a new bookmark appears to work until I click "show all bookmarks" which reveals a still empty library. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

What worked for me was to close down Firefox, delete the "places.sqlite" file and restart Firefox. My bookmarks instantly came back. This file is inside the "application data" folder which is a hidden folder. You must unhide the "application data" folder first in order to delete the "places sqlite" file using windows explorer.
There may be an easier way but this worked for me.

Hi Have a sql loader file which looks like below. But I am not getting how insert the same value for the column in all rows.

So, instead of entering the crt_user_id as system in all rows, can we place the value at the top after the column name?
