How to have Windows Print prompt pop up when printing SBO documents

Version 8.8 SP00 PL14
I have SBO Print Preferences for Sales Order and AR Invoice set to NOT Print on Add.
I have PLD layouts with defined printers assigned to users.
I want the user to be able to change the defined printer when printing a document.
I don't want the user to have to select a different PLD layout.
When the user prints a document SBO is sending the document straight to the defined printer without popping the Windows Print screen that would allow the defaulting printer to be changed.
Is there any way to make the Windows Print screen pop up?

I noticed too that when you now click on 'Print', the windows print window no longer comes up.
Did you set the PLD template default by user and indicate in Print Layout Manager the correct printer for that layout? (i.e. looks like you need a layout for each printer if the printer is different by user unless the printer to be used is the user's default printer.)

I found one more solution to this issue. If you have a directory with many PDF files and you want to print some or all of them, just get into Windows Explorer, select the files you want to print, right click the selected files, and choose "Print". It will print all the documents with no dialog box and it sends them all to the Windows Default Printer. All you have to do is just close the last empty Adobe Reader window. A quick and easy method.

Soution: Delete the printer and add the same printer back in, therefore creating a new print queue.

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

You did not mention what Forms version you are using or the platform on which it is running. Although that doesn't really matter much in this case, please include this information in the future.
To print a screenshot of the currently displayed (running) form, use the PRINT built-in. Refer to the Builder online help for details. Here is the example from the online help:

Black prompt pops up when PC boots up.

This kind of scares me, everytime I start up my laptop a black prompt pops up and close right away.
I have a lenovo Y570. I downloaded bot that do stuff for you on the PC, but i think that the bot uses the black prompt.

Hello,
The black window which opens up on the computer when it starts up is a Command Prompt in which a text mode program is running.
Unfortunately, I cannot tell what the program might be just from the video, but you might want to run Microsoft's System Configuration utility program (filename: MSCONFIG.EXE) and look at the items listed on the Startup tab to see if it could be any of those.

How to script to Print a document from SAP Business One SDK

I have created a project using UDO, Form and User table using B1DE2005.
I wonder how can i program to print a document from my screen. something like Sales Order, where user can click on Print Preview button and it will print the sales order confirmation preview..

Where do you want to execute this print/print preview? Inside Sales Order?
If that is the case use the print event, now if you have your own form and is separate of any of the SAP B1 system forms, then you will have to use the menu event and evaluate when they have press the print button (which you also probably will have to make sure that is active).

Messages window does not pop up when a chat is received

Help!
In the Messages app, when a chat is received, the Messages window does not pop up! (Like it did with the old ichat.) When a chat is received, it makes the noise, the icon bounces in the dock, and a red bubble is on the icon with the number of new chats.... but the messages window does not come forward. This is the most frustrating thing ever! I've been missing so many chats because I'm not staring at my dock. How do I make the messages window pop up when a chat is received?? Please help!!
(I just upgraded from Lion to Mountain Lion...lost ichat, gained the Messages app, and this issue is driving me nuts!)

I am not sure you can.
By Default iChat could "Hide" any window such as a Buddy list.
A new Invite put up a Invite window first that you had to Accept (Or set Auto Accept).
This triggered the appearance of the Chat window.
This does not happen in Messages.
There is not Invite window now to any Form of Text chat invite.
As a consequence there is no Trigger for the Chat window.
Add to that the Messages main Window is an interface window as well as the Chat window.
This puts it in the same category as Buddy List which has to be called back (unhidden) into view with either Keystrokes or the Window Menu.
A click (or possibly two to first bring Messages to the Front) on the DOCK icon also tends to reveal the Messages window.
You can set the Messages > Preferences > Alerts for New Messages and Text Chat invitation to Bounce the DOCK and Play sounds to help.

How to remove About:blank which pops up when I try to surf.

Firefox opens fine. I have the latest update.
But when I try to open other websites "About:blank" pops up.
I've opened Firefox in safe mode and About:blank does not pop up.
I've looked in Add-ons and Extensions and cannot fine About:blank in order to remove.
I do not see it in my list of programs either.
Help!

about:blank is only a address not a addon, you need disable addon by addon and test until you discover which addon is causing the popup.

I am having a problem confirming app purchases thru family share. The window does not pop up when I click on details.

When either my son or daughter want to purchase a app thru family share. They have to ask permission. Well, when it comes across onto my computer. Make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:

Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.

Here is one of the symptoms when you fill out a PDF form with Preview: If you save it and return it to the author, they will not be able to see the text that you've added to form fields - unless they click on a field, which will reveal the contents of just that field. You can recover from this problem, but Preview will also remove other field types, and will actually rewrite your complete PDF while ignoring what it does not understand. Saving a word document back to SharePoint always prompts for credentials.
I am the administrator for a SharePoint farm. We have enabled kerberos, and added the portal to the intranet zone in Internet Explorer by group policy. Most of the time this limits the amount of password prompts our customers see (including viewing the portal
in a browser, and opening documents); however, we are still getting the prompt for credentials when trying to save a word document back to SharePoint.
Here are some details: - SharePoint 2010 - Word 2010 - Kerberos enabled - Portal added to intranet zone in IE - Checkbox for passing automatic credentials enabled

WebDAV resource. The Web Client Service uses Windows HTTP Services (WinHTTP) to perform the network I/O to the remote host. WinHTTP sends user credentials only in response to requests that occur on a local intranet site.
However, WinHTTP does not check the security zone
settings in Internet Explorer to determine whether a Web site is in a zone that lets credentials be sent automatically.
Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press

You simply cannot get an absolutely identical export, in any app to any app. Exporting from one app to another means converting/parsing code, therefore the result cannot be identical. In order to have control over your final result, use PDF export. If you need a closer compatibility with Word, use OpenOffice or LibreOffice. I would not bet that Word for Mac would presserve identical page setting if file is created in windows, or vice-versa.
