How to Hide a Specific Mailbox In Inbox?

Hi!
I manage more than 10 e-mail addresses in Apple Mail and one of them suffers a lot from spam. Everyday, I receive 100-200 spam e-mails to that specific mailbox and I don't want to see the content of that mailbox in my main Inbox tab.
Is there a way to do that?

if i restrict with calmonth then i need to input calmonth, but already user input is calyear...............eventhough if i give input calmonth value will be displayed for the given month and rest of columns will show as balank.....where as my requirement was it should not display other columns.
The main aim of the report is to display sales value for all the months and stock on hand should display for only last month and user input will be year beacuse i need to get sales for all months,,,,

You'll get that if you type "how do I search for text" or just "search" or just "find"

Why is "Search a Message" and "Search a Mailbox" not intuitive?
If I want to find something inside a single message, I would choose "Search a Message."
If I wanted to find a particular message I would choose "Search a Mailbox"
Or, I would type, "find a message" or "search for messages" in the Help search field and the top hit would be turns out to be the answer.
Or, even simpler, since "Search Messages" is the only main item referring to "Searching," I would start there. In that case, it goes right to what you want.
If I really wanted to know about searching for text in a particular message, I would first scroll to the bottom to see what was offered as related topics. Lo and behold, there is a related article that discusses searching in a message.
However, the help files in OS X are not very robust. They never have been. The Macintosh Way is all about trying things out and see what happens. You can always undo (most of the time).
But for people who need to read a book, David Pogue makes a ton of money publishing the Missing Manual series.

Hi I have a lot of mailboxes with subfolders I don't want to see on my iPhone 6 so I'm trying to work out how to hide and reorder them. I can see how to do it in iOS 7 but it seems to have changed? Can I do it from the phone?

Hello chemahmud,
It sounds like you have Grayscale turned on. If you go to Settings > General > Accessibility and toggle off Grayscale. Once you do that you should have color back.

I have a requirement where user inputs year and result should show values but for KF2 KF3 KF4 should show only for Mar not for Jan and Feb. i.e only for last month data , how can i hide the last three KFs in other than last month..

In the above scenario in JAN and FEB KF2 KF3 KF4 should not dispaly.

How to hide a specific AppleTV for specific iPad?

I have a little bigger count of HW. 17 AppleTV 3s and 8 iPads. All of them have to be on the same LAN subnet. I need manage that only specific AppleTVs could be seen only on specific iPads (in their AirPlay devices).
Does exist any solution for this?

Try to use the Table Model.
The "getValueAt" Methode decide what to Display.
So a simple "if" command can hide the complete row - or a single Statement.

AppleScript for marking messages read in specific mailboxes

Hello
I'd like to ask whether there is someone out there with a good AppleScript knowledge who could help me out with this problem.
As far as I know, Mail currently does not support subscribing / unsubscribing to IMAP folders, which is why my "spam" folders are also being used to show the total number of unread messages in my mailboxes.
My idea is to use a script to mark all messages from specific mailboxes (namely "INBOX/spam" on all accounts) as read, as soon as they are received. All the spam mails are filtered by my provider and put into the "spam" mailbox with a subject containing "*SPAM*" automatically.
Anybody an idea?

Try this:
tell application "Mail"

But if you have a lot of '*SPAM*' messages in those folders it will still have to evaluate all of them and may be slow as a result.

There is not possible to restrict the size of the SBWP inbox,and also no default inbox size being set at all.
However using the reports below you can find out which users have the largest inboxes and notify them of this fact.
1. Please check the Transaction code 'SOY6' with this you can check the number of documents / user.
2. You can notify users with the help of the report:
'RSSOQUTA'
Report RSSOQUTA allows you to obtain information relating to the size of documents contained in a user's private folders and send reminders to the user if they have exceeded a certain quota. However it does not provide a service for automatically deleting documents.
So you got do some reorg procedure.
there is additional programs such as RSSODLIN which can
delete a users SAPoffice mails, filtered by folder. (SAP note 63912)
Also you can use program RSSODFRE to delete all mails that have no reference by date. This report is contained in SAP Note 567975.

You can't create any mailboxes directly on your phone. Mailboxes/Folders have to be created on the mail server, then synced to your phone. This requires an IMAP account, as such is not possible with a POP account. Sounds like you have a POP account, if so you cannot create any mailboxes/folders.

2.call urNewFolder.create(int type) method (in Folder class type is kind of folder u require i.e read only write only etc.) returns boolean true if created successfully.

Apple, there is plenty of room in the window header all the way across on both sides of the word "Inbox". It's important to know many messages are in the Inbox. It provides a progress meter when you're cleaning out mail and striving for inbox zero.

You'll have to open another iCloud account - you can't share access to just part of the email account.
Go to http://appleid.apple.com and create a new ID - you will need a different non-Apple email address to do this.
Sign in with it in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars and enable 'Mail' in the checklist there. You should be asked to create a new @icloud.com address.
This account will then appear alongside your present one in Mail. Your lawyer can access it in the usual way - if he doesn't have a Mac he can set the account up manually using the server settings here:

while reading the System Update Deployment Guide, I stumbled upon the possibility of hiding updates from automatic downloading into the repository. As there are certain software products distributed via lenovos Servers, which I do not want to install onto our companies' computers, I would like to let Update Retriever skip these updates.
I wasn't able to find the described funcionality in the program yet. Does someone of you know how to hide those updates?

Allan, as far as I can see it only allows me to include or not include Metadata by checkin the box in the Image Export window. I want to include most Metadata, particularly my name and copyright. There is one field where I keep my notes that I do not want to send with the photo.This is where my dilemma lies.

This is pretty elementary but I've never used mailboxes other than the main inboxes of my two accounts. How do I create a mailbox (not to be confused with the Inbox) for a specific account?
I ask because I'm trying an Applescript that involves moving mail to a destination mailbox "of account 'X' " (or 'Gmail' in my case) from the Inbox. Mail Help sets out how to create a mailbox but not how to associate it with a particular account, unless I'm missing something. Mail offers me the location "On My Mac" but that's about it.

First create a mailbox to hold your messages.
Next go to Mail > Preferences > Rules and add a new rule. Give it a name then select "if ANY of the following are met:" Select "Account" and the name of the Account. For the action select "Move Message" to mailbox "Your mailbox's name."
