How to hide an account?

Morning.
We in the office want to use iCal to manage our dates. Our assistant has iCal on her iMac and subscribed all of our MobileMe calendar accounts. Some of us use more than one calendar. So at the assistants iCal are a lot of calendars displayed. Is it possible to hide one or more accounts temporarily as like as calendars?

Hi experts, i need to hide some members of the Account dimension for reporting, because those members dont use it anymore, but i dont want delete them.
The question is: Does it exist any propierties for this dimension type that allows hiding members in reporting without set members in the BPC for Excel?
I can create a report which contain the members i want to show, but if any change occurs (client desire) the report is outdated.

There is no function like that.
You can choose below two options.
1. Create a property like 'NOUSE' and set a value 'Y' for unused member
When you create EVDRE report, set a filter against that property that has value 'N'
then those members will not be shown at the report.
2. Create 'NOUSE' parent member and put members under this parent member.
Maybe option 1 is more easier to do that.

Deploying Windows 7 via Offline Media (ISO) to MS Virtual PC's
I am looking on how to Hide the User Name, Password, and Domain fields which are prepopulated in the MDT wizard via the CS.ini (Not so concerned about the Domain field as I am User Name and Password)
We do need the Computer Name and OU fields to be seen, so skipping the wizard is not a option
The client just does not want these fields to be seen by the end users, they dont want them to even know the account name used for adding the machine to the domain, of course the password is not displayed but it must not be displayed either.
But since we use the fields they must still be fuctional just not seen.

You shouldn't have to edit DeployWiz_Definition_ENU.xml. You should only need to add "SkipAdminPassword=YES" to the CS.ini file and your authentication information.
Example:

Could someone please tell me how to hide a partitioned drive (example my drive E:/) so that my kids cannot access it on their separate, non administrative account?

How to hide a partition in Windows?
Right-Click on My Computer [Computer in Windows Vista and Windows 7]
Click on Manage
From the list of options Click on Disk Management that will be located in the left-bottom section
All your hard disk and its partitions will be show in the right hand side
Right-Click on the partition that you want to hide and select "Change Drive Letters and Path"
Click on "Remove" and click "Yes"
Your drive will now be hidden in my computer
To unhide the drive :
Go to Disk Management Right-Click on the hidden partition [there will not be a drive letter on the hidden drive] again select "Change Drive Letters and Path"
Click on add and select an appropriate drive letter.
Click Ok
Now the drive is unhided.

How to Hide a User?

I'm trying to create an admin user without having the account showing on the login screen.
I came across this article:

Which says to enter the following into the Terminal (when using Yosemite):
sudo dscl . create /Users/hiddenuser IsHidden 1
The problem is after doing this and rebooting the user account is still visible.
I'm using OS X v10.10.2, and yes I did replace the hiddenuser reference with the user's home directory name I'm trying to hide (the command completed with no errors shown)...
Anybody know how to do this, and why the article shown doesn't appear to work???

How to hide rows?

Hello folks,
I just would like to know that how to hide rows except dbms_rls package? I mean, it has been said that I can hide rows to create views but lets said that I have got 200 students and each student can see only their rows in students table, in that scenerio I have to create 200 views, isn't it? I just would like to learn that how to hide rows with using views? Do you have any ideas?
Note: I know dbms_rls package, except this solution I am tryin to find onather solution.

If every student is a separate Oracle user, the USER fucntion will return the name of the current user. A view definition can reference that function, like this:
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW view_x
AS
SELECT   *
FROM    table_x
WHERE   student_account = USER;If you logged in to Oracle as POLAT, then the view will contain only rows where student_account='POLAT'.
If you logged in to Oracle as SYSTEM, then the view will contain only rows where student_account='SYSTEM'.
If students do not have thier own Oracle accounts, then they are probably authenitcated by some procedure in your package. That procedure can set a SYS_CONTEXT variable, or write data to a global temporary table, which you can then use instead of the USER function in view definitions.
Note: I know dbms_rls package, except this solution I am tryin to find onather solution.Why can't you use dbms_rls, or why don't you want to use it? It's a very powerful tool, and not vey hard to use.
I'm not saying there's never a good reason not to use dbms_rls; I'm just asking if you have one.

If not, give a specific example of what you want. Post CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for some sample data for all tables involved. Identify 2 or 3 different students, and show what the contents of the view should be for each student, given the same sample data. If students do not log in to Oracle with their own usernames, then explain how you know which student is currently logged in.

First I would like to know that your scenarios are B2B or B2C. Based on Scenario...in SPRO Master Data->Define Account Identification Profiles.
Under Object Components remove ICCMP_IBASE.
Hope this will solve your issue.

Generally MIRO screen have " PO reference" TAB & if you want active "G/L account' & " Material " TABs in the MIRO screen, you can activate by selecting two check boxes of "Direct posting to G/L account=active" & "Direct Posting to Material=active" & then save, in the following path
SPRO> Material Management>Logistics Invoice Verification->Incoming Invoice->Activate Direct Posting to G/L Accounts and Material Account

Hide User Accounts on Windows 7 Logon

Hi I Just Installed Windows 7 and Want to hide other user accounts on Windows 7 64 and actually Windows Vista so the only Account showing is mine how do I do This, am I right in thinking it has to be done through the registry;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOFTWARE \Microsoft \Windows NT \CurrentVersion \Winlogon, but I do not know how to prceed from this point can some help please

The following will work for a computer in a workgroup (using the welcome page).
For Windows 7 Enterprise (maybe others) you will also need to add a second key below SpecialAccounts called "UserList". Put all the accounts in that subkey.
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList
I have confirmed this to work on a fresh installation with multiple user accounts and not joined to a domain. I have also confirmed this on my Windows 7 Ultimate computer I use at home. I use the hidden (but not disabled) accounts to provide share access in
a workgroup environment, so I don't want to see them on the logon page. I think the proper workaround for share access is using homegroups instead, but I don't think it provides enough granularity for me.

So now that I have done this, I cannot logon to the machine with those accounts anymore or use the admin priviledges for them. I thought it would just hide the accounts. The problem is, I 'hid' all admin accounts, but thought like old versions
of windows that you would be able to CTRL-ALT-DELETE on the login screen to type the username and password, but I can't get it to work!.
How do I login once I have put in users int he UserList key?. I can't get back into the regedit because I don't have any other admin accounts. :(

If you would like to unhide the hidden Administrator account on Windows 7
Operating System , here's how you can do it:
1.Boot Win 7 DVD,go to command prompt and type regedit -it
2.Click on HKLM hive and next navigate File>>Load hive
Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\config folder and choose
SOFTWARE file load it and assign this hive any name for example REM_SOFTWARE
3.Open key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\REM_SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList
and remove this account or better way remove the whole key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\REM_SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts

Hide Service Accounts in Outlook Calendar

Hello, we're using the "manager" attribute in AD to associate service accounts with their owner. In Outlook under Calendar this places those service accounts under the "Team: <MANAGER>" group. So in addition to actual
team members under a manager, service accounts are also listed. Is there a way to hide those accounts so they aren't listed?

I asked which attribute is more appropriate for that task. You did not answer that nor give any answer on how to replicate what manager/directReport is doing.
Additionally, the original question was if it was possible in Exchange to hide certain accounts so that they would not display as being on a team in Calendar. You side stepped that question and said those accounts shouldn't be there to begin with,
not how an account could be hidden or if that's even possible.
Finally, I have yet to argue with you. I've pointed out that your comments came off rude to me. The doctor analogy did not add value nor represent this issue accurately. If that were a real doctor it would show lack of empathy for the patient
and a lack of interest in getting into the root of the problem. The comment on the AD team making a mistake also did not add value or answer either of the two parts to my question. They know what the manager attribute is for, but at the time chose

How to hide dynamic parameters values in the URL with Reports 6i

I want to know a way of hiding the parameters values when asking for a report through the web.
Now I'm using the Reports 3.0.5.8 with a Cartridge defined in the Oracle Web Application Server 3.0.1.0.1. When you ask for a report with the parameters DESTYPE = cache and DESFORMAT = pdf, it is fully generated and in the Address or Location box of the browser, you can see http://webserver/cache/report.pdf (where cache is the virtual directory defined in the OWAS in which the .pdfs are cached). So, users cant see the Url used to generate the report.
Im trying to upgrade this configuration to Reports 6i with Cgi in a web server. I generate reports with no problems. The problem I have is I cant find how to hide the parameters values as before. I mean, when I ask for a report, once its generated I can see http://webserver/cgi-bin/rwcgi60.exe?server=ServerName&report=report.rdf&userid=user/pass@connection&destype=cache&desformat=pdf&P1=value1&P2=value2 in the Location box. It allows user to ask for another report changing the values of the parameters. I use these parameters to execute some query written in the Data Model. For example, imagine that the P1 represents the company id, the user (that is supposed to see only data of its company) can change this id, ask for a new report and see data of another company.
Ive already tried to use the key mapping option, but its not useful to me because the parameters values are dynamic and its impossible to define different entries in the cgicmd.dat for each possible value. The option of loading the parameter form before running a report is not useful to me either, because there exists specific screens for this purpose.
Is there any solution?

I have the below options for 'Calculate single values as'
1. Normalise according to Next group level Resul.
2. Normalize according to Overall Result
3. Rank number
4.Olympic Rank Number
5.Maximum
6. Minimum
7.Counter for all detailed values
8.Counter for all detailed values that are non zero
9.Moving average
10.Moving average That is Not zero ,null or Error
11. Hide.
So could you please tell me where i can find 'suppress result' option for the keyfigure .
