In the ESS iViews (Java WD) for Personal information (Adresse, Bank, Family, etc. there is the Button "Exit"..
Does any have any Idea where and how to hide this "Exit" Button in the iView/Java-WD?

thanks for your reply.
If you mean to hide the button using the iView/WD Personalisation by rightclick on the iView in PCD and then Review, well yes i know this and i have tried this already before and we were able to hide some not required input fields in the Webdynpro, but we were not able to find and to hide the "EXIT" Button using the personalisation..!!?? you know why?
Why to hide the Exit button, i will tell you why, in the iView for maintainig the ESS Personal Information -> e.g. Adresse --> Edit Adresse View (Roadmap view No. 2) --> when User click on the Exit Button --> This will open new browser Window with ESS... ---> This second Browser Window (Pop up) would confuse the User, since he already have an opened window, so the Customer mean why open new window, since the user can simply click the Button Back and so his data are also saved..
How can we manage to control the behaviour of the Button, so the iView is closed safety without that new Pop-up windows are opened...

How to hide only pause button on toolbar in run time

hello,
I had hide all the buttons like run, run continuous, abort vi and others by navigating to VI Properties and unchecking the corresponding options.
when i run the vi, all becomes hide except pause button and i didn't find any option for hiding it manually as well as programatically.
can any one tell me how to hide pause button. i have an urgent requirement for same.

How to Hide FPM Close button

Hi,
I have created one FPM application. When that application is called from portal, an aditional button 'CLOSE' is appearing.
I did not put that button to FPM application and when I test the application from R/3, the button is not appearing. But it appears on portal. How hide this close button ?

1 Open WDC FPM_GAF_COMPONENT.
2 Go to Web Dynpro Application -> <Application> -> Applic. Configurations.
3 Copy <Aplication config> to some u2018Zu2019 Application Configuration name and save as local object.
4 Open that application in admin mode and copy the URL.
5 Add that copied URL to some role so that it can be displayed in Portal or NWBC by taking care of parameter u2018sap-config- mode=Xu2019 must be in URL.
6 Open that application in Portal or in NWBC.
7 Right click in Contextual navigation area.
8 Select u2018Setting for Current Configurationu2019.
9 Here set the u2018Closeu2019 button visibility as u2018INVISIBLEu2019

We have a requirement to hide new task button on activity screen and i tired using java script on web applet to hide buttons but hiding was successful on other button like send email and delete buttons ,same script is not working on New task button , even i tried with the script bob provided in his document "Repurpose Buttons in On Demand with JavaScript" but no luck, Please let me know if have any solution.

How to hide the player button when publish a project?

My predecessor producted several swf files using Captivate 3. And I only get the swf files and don't get the *.cptx files.
However, now I need to publish them into a folder format, including the standard.htm, *.htm and *.swf.
So I tried to build a blank project, insert the swf file, say, test.swf , then publish it (click the "publish to the folder" and "export to html"). then I get the new folder test2, including standard.htm, test2.htm and test2.swf.
Now there is a problem, in the test2.htm and test2.swf, has two rows of player buttons,
The upper row of buttons are from the old file, test.swf. This is the real button that work.
The lower row of buttons are from the new file (test2.swf). But these are not what I want.
So I am wondering how I could delete or hide the lowe row of buttons from the new file.
That is to say, the visitor just need one row of player button.
Your reply will be greatly appreciated.

Go to Project > Skin Editor and untick the option for Show Playback Controls.
Then the only buttons will be for the original SWF.

SAP Cloud Marketing Lead How to Hide the Standard button action

In Marketing Lead TI screen button action event have 3 options
1) Convert to Sales Lead
2) Convert to Opportunity.
3) Convert to Account or Contact
I want to hide 2 option 1) Convert to Sales Lead and 2) Convert to Account and Contact from the Action button.
I have try to enhance the standard BO as shown below.
and when open the COD_Marketinglead_TI screen then i can not able to see 3 option under Action button.
Please anyone have idea about how to get these 3 options 1) Convert to Sales Lead 2) Convert to Opportunity. 3) Convert to Account or Contact under Action button.

I have few question
1) AP.CRM.Global:Lead is Marketing Lead BO or Sales Lead BO? if Not Marketing Lead BO then what is the correct path to extend the Marketing Lead?
2) I have extend the AP.CRM.Global:Lead BO when we enhance the screen it give the below options and i have selected the highlighted screen is it correct or not ?
After select the screen and click OK there are 4 screen comes automatically as shown below.
3) When i Open the COD_MarketingLead.TI screen in UI designer i can able to see this screen as shown below.
Here in this screen point 1 we can see that its COD_MarketingLead screen but in point 2 Screen Header Label is "Sales Lead" and point 3 under this Action button no 3 option available 1) Convert to Sales Lead 2) Convert to Opportunity. 3) Convert to Account or Contact. But when you open Marketing Lead we can able to see these option under the action event as shown below.
Help me how to get Marketing Lead Screen with above actions in UI Designer.

How to hide and show button based on if row is selected in tabular form

Im pretty new to apex. I am using version 4.1. I have a tabular form and what i want to do is only have the delete button show if i select a row from the [row selector] column. Can this be done using a dynamic action? I have tried it that way unsuccessfully. Please help or let me know if you need any more information.

Do you mean if the check box is selected in the row?
Assign a static ID to the delete button, e.g. MY_DEL_BTN. Look for "Static ID" under the Attributes section of the button.
If so, make an advanced Dynamic Action based on Click and a jQuery selector. Usually, this element is name "f01" but, you need to make sure. Assuming it is "f01" then your jquery selector would be:
input[name="f01"]set the event scope to live.
Your dynamic action will fire JavaScript. (BE SURE TO UNSELECT FIRE ON PAGE LOAD). To make sure you have the right jQuery selector, at first just put a pop up message in the JavaScript.
alert('You Clicked the Row Selector!');Run the page. Click the row selector. If you get the pop up you have specified the jQuery selector correctly. Yay!
Then, assuming the above is correct. You can now determine if any have been selected.
Now, set it back to SELECT TO FIRE ON PAGE LOAD (You want the delete to be hidden when you first open the page).
Change your JavaScript to this:

Situation: JFileChooser is only one of the components on my form; also it is a 'generic' form in our application and it already has an Ok and Cancel button at the bottom of it.

Hi,
First you need to figure out where the button is being dynamically generated. Then you can use the enhancement framework to hide the button (Change the visibility of the button) once it is generated. The enhancement framework allows you to add code at certain positions within the application. You will have to find a point after the button is generated.

1) If you want the exit button to be hided u can use the following code in doModify as we know this doModify will be called each time the action is performed so when we use this code exit button will be hided all the time.

2) if you want to hide only on specific time then better to use the value attribute of type com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions.Visibility then bind this to exit button's property--> visibility and in your code wherever required set the visibility.
Ex: value attribute name : va_Exit_Visible
type : com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions.Visibility
wdContext.currentContextElement().setVa_Exit_Visible(WDVisibility.NONE);

If you can upgrade to Adobe desinger 8.2 to be abel to use XFA 2.8 you can code in the following way:
Write the following code in the preSave method

Using this, the save button will still be visible but, you can prevent the form from being saved.
