How to hide clock alarms in calendar

With my daily Wake Up alarm, I have five different daily alarms set in the Clock app on my much loved Passport. Those five daily alarms appear automatically in my Calendar app every day and clutter up all of my Calendar views (daily, weekly, monthly and agenda).
Is there any way to hide these repetitive daily alarms from appearing in Calendar. I am on a regular medicine schedule and the daily alarms are essential for my health. At the same time, I use my Calendar to keep track of events, court dates, filing deadlines and other date and time related matters that are essential to my professional life.
Is there a solution or work around in BB 10 for this problem? If not, are there any third party apps that would help or does Blackberry have this on its agenda for future updates?

It does seem as though this would be a fairly common concern for BB 10 users. Blackberry targets those who make heavy use of their Blackberry to organize their busy and complex lives.
It is a major inconvenience to have one's calendar clogged up with repetitive alarm clock entries when all you want is to have the alarm clock ring/buzz at the same time every day and have your calendar show events/apointments/to do items.
Is there any way to set repetitive alarms using apps other than the Clock and Calendar apps?

I have two reasons for wanting to hide the clock. First, everybody, hopefully, has had that wonderful experience of being lost in a book: but that's harder to achieve if you have a clock glaring down at you from the top of the screen. Secondly, I suffer from insomnia, and if I know how much sleep I've missed, I will be much worse off in the morning.
Note that Mac OS X allows you to hide the time, so why shouldn't iOS 4?

How to tab to Alarm and Calendar fields??

I just upgraded from OS 10.4.11 to 10.5.8. I just went into iCal to add some appointments and was extremely disappointed by the changes in this version. The one thing that is extremely frustrating is that the Calendar and Alarm fields are not able to be tabbed into when creating or editing events. This is something that I used constantly when inputing events. How could these fields not be able to be tabbed into? Is my installation hosed somehow or is this how its supposed to work (or not work)?

I agree, this is really annoying. I use tab instead of mouse in many programs, and enjoyed being able to tab among all the fields in older versions of iCal.
To experience this specific problem in iCal 4:
Create a new event.
enter a title.
Tab to next field (location)
enter a location (optional)
Tab to next field ( if Full Keyboard Access set to "All controls", all-day, else start-date-time)
if not all-day, enter a start-date-time. Tab now only moves between parts of the date-time.
if all-day, enter a start-date. Tab does help move to the next field.
When you get to the alarm field, if there's a date/in it, Tab gets stuck there too.
So, the general problem is that tab gets stuck in date-time fields, whether or not Full Keyboard Access is set to "All controls."
This is the latest of a 20-year list of Apple-sourced programs that don't follow Apple's own Human Interface Guidelines.
Can someone try building a form in X-Code that works better than iCal's, then show Apple how to do it?

I accidentally deleted my "clock/alarm" app. How do I get the icon back?

I was moving apps and accidentally deleted the clock/alarm app. I can "search" and get my alarms, but I still can't get the icon to move it to my home screen. How do I get the icon back?

I've looked in other folders and screens and can't locate it. I understand that there are apps that can't be deleted and this is one of them....I've tried several ways to locate it and can't.

How can I turn off clock alarm sound

I have several clock alarms set for daily or weekly recurrences (picking up kids, etc). They work great, and are very easy to set up and use. The only problem is that there seems to be no way to easily turn them off.
When I use the ring silencer, it does not disable these alarms. I can turn the ringer volume all the way down, which keeps them pretty quiet, but they don't actually get turned off completely.
This means that if I'm in a situation where I don't want my phone to make noise, I need to power it off completely. Is there not a way to either:
1) disable alarm notices
2) turn off the volume for these alarms?
I understand why Apple may not want these alarms disabled by the silencer switch, but they need to have an easily implemented alternative.

I only use the alarm clock to wake me up - I don't want that silent! For everything else, I use calendar alarms - these just vibrate when the phone is in silent mode. How to hide birthdays in Calendar except important ones ?

Is it possible to hide most birthdays in Calendar, except a few, i.e., those of the VIP's, for instance, the spouse? ;-)
I don't want to delete all the birthdays from AdressBook, but I'd like to see in Calendar only those that are really important.
And, if possible, I'd like to get a reminder only for those.

No, I meant disable the built-in Birthdays calendar and create your own. There is a preference to display the Birthdays calendar. Turn it off, create a new calendar, and add all the Birthdays you want to know about.

You can't delete it. If you really don't want to see it, stick it in a folder and then stick the folder on a distant home screen.
But you might find it easier to just set the clock (date and time) on your iPhone.

How can I get rid of calendar events initiated from my old email address?

I have a bunch of old reoccuring calendar events created using a previous email address. I now cannot delete them because "I" am not the originator of the event. The email doesn't exist anymore. I can decline all future occuring events, but it still doesn't take it off my calendar.

NP. What I did last time and will try again is:
1) Attached the Touch to my PC and from within iTunes I select the Touch icon.
2) From the SUMMARY tab, I choose to Restore.
3) Under the INFO tab I only have "Sync contacts with OUTLOOK" and "Sync bookmarks with INTERNET EXPLORER" checked. Nothing is checked in the Calendar area.
Last time I did this it downloaded the 1.1.2 software too. I thought I already had this, but it downloaded it anyway. Regardless, the majority of the time was reloading my 13.34G of data (this is the real number, I estimated before). That took about 2+ hours. In the process, I could see that my storage usage bar did clear completely. So this process did restore all of my date. But again, how could the clock information still be there? That proves that the restore does not clear all information.
Will let you know how it goes.

Clock alarm goes off even when selected to off position

Updated my iPhone4 with IOS 7.2 and now the clock alarm still goes off even with the on/off selector in the off position. I deleted the alarm and re-entered it and it still does this. Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

Hello! I recently got the ihome ih11 and was having the same problem on and off. I found out that even though the manual says the ipod has to off and docked for the ipod to go off on alarm, but I learned ipod does need to be on, but closed out play mode on home screen. Since doing this I've woke to my ipod every morning. Try it and see if that works. I have the ipod touch 2nd generation. Hope this helps!

How to set an alarm for tomorrow morning.

Ask siri... "Wake me up at 7:00 am."
Press and hold the home button at activate Siri and say the above phrase.
You can view/edit this. Open the "Clock" app and click on Alarm, second tab from the left. You'll see the alarm with the on/off ticker on ON (green). Press Edit to delete/edit the alarm. Set a Repeat if you want to have to go off every * days. And you get to choose what would be the sound that it uses. Personally I have it to play one of my songs from my music library. Also have the Snooze on so that I can just tap the screen to give me a 10 minute snooze.

my situation is to hide the conditions specified in the pricing procedure. so that it is not viewed by the some users.can you please tell me how to hide the conditions. so some of the persons, who are having authorization to see the conditions , will be able to see the pricing conditions.
can you please suggest me how to do this.

Authorisation issues viz. Role Impementations
Hide Condition Records Line Item & Header Wise from all the transactions QK / So / P.I. / Enquiry / Invoice etc. for specific user grps. - in CRETATE / AMEND / DISPLAY / REPORTS all
Only Display the fields

How to hide select-option of Logical Database in report?eg . In Logical Database 'PNP' , my code is 'GET PERNR' , excute the report , select-screen is displayed . I want to hide some select-options , such as PNPPERNR-LOW .
