How to hide linked slides in PDF docs in Keynote?

Well... I want to make a CV (Curriculum Vitae) that should be for the German rules with max two pages. And I would like to make a keynote with two pages and 20 hided linked pages and sent it in PDF. Because... if the person that is reading the document wants more information of any job i did, he could press the button ...More, that would bring more information about it. It will be great for the person that receives this kind of CV because he would see (receive) just two pages, as he expect, but actually the document has another 20 pages or more linked on it, and these pages would be hided to don't confuse the examinator giving more details just if necessary (Avoiding visual polution) So... Can I do it? with Keynote? A PDF doc with one or two pages and 20 or more hided linked sllides? Thank you guys.

To create an interactive PDF from a Keynote presentation:
Presentation pane of the Setup inspector > Presentation Type pop-up menu > Hyperlinks only
draw an object using the shapes tool to create a hyperlink button
select the object > right click > Add Link
Link to Slide > Click Go To Slide > select the required slide number
create as many buttons as required to link to the other slides
File > Export > PDF

Open the PDF file, tap on the screen to bring up the top bar, tap on the third button from right to bring up the annotations toolbar. Now select the tool you want and start annotating! Hightlight tool is second from left.

As of June 2014, none of the Adobe Reader mobile products support the hyperlink action for opening a separate PDF document.
Adobe Reader for iOS
Adobe Reader for Android
Adobe Reader Touch for Windows 8
In addition, the Reader mobile products do not open multiple windows/documents simultaneously, which would make the navigation between PDF documents nearly impossible. (Once a hyperlink takes you to a different PDF document, you have no way to go back to the original PDF document.)
The only Adobe Reader product that fulfills your department's requirements is Adobe Reader XI (mostly for Windows/Mac desktop/laptop computers). Acrobat Pro and Standard are paid products.
Because you are in search of a less expensive device for your department, you could get a Windows tablet instead of a Windows desktop/laptop computer. Microsoft Surface Pro (that you've mentioned in your previous reply) is just one example. You can also find other less expensive Windows tablets.
Tablets
However, please keep in mind that there are two different types of Windows tablets running two different operating systems.
(a) A Windows tablet with an Intel-based processor running Windows 8.1 Pro
Example: Surface Pro 3
You can install and run traditional desktop apps (e.g. Adobe Reader XI) and new Windows Store apps ("Modern" or "Metro-style" apps).
(b) A Windows tablet with an ARM-based processor running Windows RT 8.1
Example: Surface 2
You can only install and run Windows Store apps (e.g. Adobe Reader Touch) but not traditional desktop apps like Adobe Reader XI.
In general, type (b) tablets are more affordable than type (a) tablets. However, if you want to run Adobe Reader XI, you do need to check the technical specification of each tablet and make sure the following conditions are met.
Processor: Intel
Operating system: Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 8/8.1 Pro, not RT

How To Make Links In A .PDF Open In A New Window

Hello,
I am using Acrobat Pro 10 to create a fillable employment application. At the top of the main application, I want people to be able to click and be redirected to another .PDF file I have hosted on my site that they will need to fill out in addition. So, I have used the link tool, but this closes the main pdf application and opens up the new pdf in its place. This is very problematic, because it clears out all of their data in the previous main application. So, I need the link to open in a new window and not in the same one as the original form. Is this possible?

However, when I do this, and upload it to my site the link doesn't do anything. When you click above the word where the link should be, it doesn't show the finger pointer and doesn't do anything when clicked.

How to print links in a PDF

I have created multiple blue coloured link boxes in a pdf file which will open a pdf image.
The linked boxes can be seen/viewed in the pdf but do not show in the printed copy of the pdf.
Can anyone please advise how to include printing the links with the pdf file?

Link objects are not printable. If you want them to be then you should use form fields instead of links.

Hello, can anybody help me with this please.
I have a web app that is listing current vacancies (see it here http://pattonnz.businesscatalyst.com/about-situationsvacant )
As you can see the link to the PDF job description file is not right. What is the best way to link to a PDF? At present the web app is using a field type "Text (hyperlink)" to make the connection to the uploaded pdf but this obviously isn't working right (well it works, but it's a bit mangled and unnacceptable). There doesn't appear to be a field that will let me direct a link to the appropriate folder and file.
Web apps are pretty new to me so any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Grant.
Delete that custom field.
Create a custom field type - image. Image is actually media type and you can select more then just images. This will allow you to browse the file in the admin and upload it.
The tag will be what you call it.... {tag_pdffile} - This would try and render an image html if you used this so...
You just get the raw value which is _value so... {tag_pdffile_value} and you form your own HTML in your layout.....

I have a created a new blog post and want to link to a .pdf file. I have the file loaded to the file manager but when I click on the link icon in the editor the only files that show up are web pages.
Is there a way to link to a file other than setting up the link other than writing the HTML by hand?

I totally agree with you on the confusion of that form for the literature module. Even after I have used it a lot I still find myself trying to upload the file at the same time. As you say - it only makes sense. But you'll get used to it. ;-)
As far as the module way of doing it instead of coding it in, there is so much more flexibility this way. In your example you have one document which isn't bad ... but what if you had to list 100 documents in your page that are located in several different locations on the server? Now it's a simple task of adding one tag and your done.
Other advantages:
1: Your documents can be found in the site search
2: Recods and displays file type and size to the viewer so they can choose to download it or not.
There is more but after years of the individual code way, I so love this Literature Module and the flexibility it gives.

Link to external PDF/DOC

I tried to place a link to a PDF. (Link to File...)
The file is copied into the working direktory. But there is
no entry in the Baggage. (I don't know whether it should be).
The project compiles normally, but the link does not work,
i.e. it produces a "The page cannot be shown".
I can place the PDF wherever I want, it does not work.
What's wrong?

I've been on holiday so pardon the late response.
The parser function (attached) was developed by Microsoft to
open external files. To implement it, you need to use the True Code
editor and put the function in the HEAD section and then go to
where you want the link and insert <A NOHREF
ONCLICK="parser('filename.pdf')">Link text</A>. I usually
put a FONT in to make the link text blue and underlined like a
normal link as well.
My old version of RoboHelp's WYSIWYG editor doesn't like
anchors with NOHREF and will change it to <A>, which doesn't
do anything. I think it should survive in newer releases.

My favorite effects on Keynote 09 do not export correctly in ppt because many effects are not supported by ppt.
So, my questions are :
1/I want to embbed a pdf inside a keynote presentaion. It seems it does not work,
and if I transform my keynote presentaion into a movie (.mov), how could I include a manual click on the embeeded pdf.?
2/ Although the resolution of my document letters in keynote presentaion look excellent, when converted into .mov, colors/definition becomes quite ugly. Hoe to solve this problem?

The way I do it is:
Open the PDF in Preview. Click, "File > Save As..." and choose "PNG" as the format. Use the PNG image instead of .PDF for increased versatility.

I have a overview page and I hould like to know if I can hide some links on Overview page but have this links in Detailed Navigation
for example, if I have this:

                        - OVERVIEW

And I like to see only in overview page something like this:

You already have the links entered. You would then just upload the PDF files using DW. Your links are made to the files as they would site in your root folder so just make sure you upload them from the same location.
