  • How to assign a URL in the Tabular Form

    Hi,
    I am using the htmldb.item api's to create manually,the Tabular form. I have got a column in the database(View) like
    ''||substr(DESCRIPTION,1,30)||decode(substr(DESCRIPTION,30,1),null,null,'...')||'' DESCRIPTION,
    which displays as a URL and when the user clicks this URL, the page will have a popup page(in this case it is redirected to page 52).
    My probelm is , if I use wwv_flow_item.display_and_save for this column, I dont see the URL, but it displays the above entire string (along with the HTML tags).
    If I do not use wwv_flow_item.display_and_save, I can not use this item in the COllections as I am using the some validations to display an Error message (Inline with field and in Notification)
    I cannot display the Validation error in the - On Error Page as I should prevent the user to use the browser buttons
    Please let me know how to display the URL and to have this information in the Collection
    TIA
    Ravi

    Ravi,
    Can you fetch the column twice, once into a non-escaped display type that does not generate a form item and again into a hidden item for your collection?

  • Primary key column in manual tabular form

    I am creating a manual tabular form and am unsure what to do for my primary key column. When I do this with the wizard, I'm allowed to specifiy a Primary Key Source Type and the Primary Key Source (my sequence). Is there a way to do this in a manual tabular form?
    I'm creating the column with the call 'wwv_flow_item.display_and_save(2,hours_id) hours_id' but when I edit the 'Tabular Form Element' section, I don't have the Primary Key fields anywhere to edit...only Reference Table Owner, Reference Table/Column Name. Where can I specify the sequence?
    Thanks,
    Janel

    In the process ApplyMRD, try specifying the 'Secondary Key Column' in the section 'Source: Multi Row Update and Delete' to the second key column in the tabular form.
    I haven't tested this with your situation, but worth a shot.

  • How to Hide/show the columns data while doing Drill down or drill up

    Hi ,
    How to Hide/show the columns data while doing Drill down or drill up in webi report .
    Does it possible BO 3.1 version ?
    Please suggest me on this.
    Thanks & Regards
    Venkat

    While that is not there yet, you can make use of the show when empty yes/no in combination with alerters.
    So I have an alerter applied to every cell of the table.
    When a condition is true (say I drilled down) I just put = "" in every cell, emptying the table,
    because its now empty and doesn't need to show, it wont.
    For the detail table I use the opposite, so when you drilled down it becomes visible...
    Hope this helps all that do not have 40 yet
    Good luck,
    Marianne

  • How to hide/show a column in reports 10g according to the parameter value

    Hi,
    I want to hide a column in the report according to the parameter value, is it possible?
    For example, there is a parameter called P_TYPE. I want to hide a column called 'BALANCE' if the P_TYPE=0.
    This column is not the last one in the table, so if it is hide then that empty space should be occupied by next column.
    Is it possible means please explain me how to do it?
    Thanks in advance,
    SAN

    Create a format trigger (for both the header and the column item) that returns False on you condition.
    Set the horizontal elasticity to Contract (for both the header and the column item).
    Sometimes Contract doesn't work. Try Variable in that case. This has the disadvantage that the field can also expand.

  • Tabular form - let end user hide/show columns

    I have been requested to create a tabular form, but end user should have ability to hide/show columns, also they should rename the column headers. So I have created a table with column name called "attribute1", attribute2", etc. Based on that table, create a tabular form, which has column header as "attrbute1", "attrbute2", etc. Now end user wants to rename attrbute1 as he wants. And he/she also wants to have a link called "hide/show" next to the column header, so end user can control which column they want to hide/show. It is so easy to do that control from developer side, however, shift that function to end user from front end seems very difficult to me. I have search around and haven't found any good solution yet. Please help. Thanks advance.

  • How to hide Actions Column in Table

    Hi All,
    I have a simple requirement: I am showing a table (items)
    - the "Actions" column (Column with Buttons to Edit and Delete a particualr row) must not be show -> no changes to the table are allowed (I need to hide/ disable this column)
    How can I hide this column od the table?
    I have found out that the field is called thtmlb_oca and that htere is a getter method get-thtmlb_oca. However, the method does not contain coding and I do not know how to HIDE this field/ column...
    Please help me here..
    Thanks, Johannes

    Hi Johannes,
    To remove the column completely,
    you need to comment this line in the method GET_TABLE_LINE_SAMPLE of the Table View Context node class.
    TYPES: BEGIN OF line,
    *  thtmlb_oca  type  crm_thtmlb_one_click_action.
      INCLUDE TYPE xxxx.
      TYPES:  END OF line.
    Disabling can be controlled in the method GET_OCA_T_TABLE of the same class by putting code to delete the button.
    LOOP AT  rt_actions ASSIGNING <fs_actions>.
          <fs_actions>-active  = abap_false.
        ENDLOOP.

    Edit the report page > Report Attributes > Change the report template for different look and feel
    You can also customize the report template or even create your own template

  • How to hide/show dashboards for user/groups

    Hi,
    Please help on how to hide/show dashboard menu/sub menu to users/groups based on their profile settings.
    thanks in advance.
    regards,
    kumar.

    Hi Jinu,
    1) Do some or all of those subreports span multiple pages?
    2) Do each of the Subreports start on a new page?
    If yes, for both, then here's what you need to do:
    1) Create a formula (@True) with this code:
    shared booleanvar SetStatus:= True
    2) Create another formula (@False) with this code:
    shared booleanvar SetStatus:= False
    Drag and drop the @True formula on the details sections for which you want the Page Footer to be suppressed.
    Similarly, drop the @False formula on the details sections for which you want the Page Footer to show up.
    Then, go to the Section Expert > Select Page Footer c > Click the formula button beside Suppress and use this code:
    shared booleanvar SetStatus;
    -Abhilash

  • OS 10.10 how to hide/show a folder with a password using terminal

    In Yosemite 10.10.2 Terminal Can you please tell me how to hide/show with a password then show again on already existing folder created on a system drive and also an external drive. Please provide the path text to folder name "wbfiles". Thank you Winwoodb

    You can drag it from one place on a drive to another.  If you are moving it from one drive to another then it copies it.  If you are moving it on the same drive and are getting that message then not being able to move the folder is the least of your problems.  Free up space immediately because your computer is about to crash and probably lose files.  Then you'll have lots of space.
